One question: Does anyone want to know a relatively inexpensive military wonder?
  4. Blast... <.< anyways there is always the weekend.

Heh I do not really plan to expand outwards that much more (well aside from the annexation of Canada). Anyways archi it is fine with me if you post the discussed wonder now (for military wonders) Also whee 5 years till the end of project: Final Frontier.
  6. Well I am on :P

Seems pretty interesting (and now to find out exactly what sarah palin is) Also on a completely unrelated note here is a mildly interesting site: http://www.behindthename.com/ (Here is an example of what it does) CHARLES Gender: Masculine Usage: English, French Pronounced: CHAHR-əlz (English), SHARL (French) [key] From the Germanic name Karl, which was derived from a Germanic word which meant "man". However, an alternative theory states that it is derived from the common Germanic element hari meaning "army, warrior". The popularity of the name in continental Europe was due to the fame of Charles the Great (742-814), commonly known as Charlemagne, a king of the Franks who came to rule over most of Europe. It was subsequently borne by several Holy Roman Emperors, as well as kings of France, Spain, Portugal, Sweden and Hungary. The name did not become common in Britain until the 17th century when it was carried by the Stuart king Charles I. It had been introduced into the Stuart royal family by Mary Queen of Scots, who had been raised in France. Famous bearers of the name include naturalist Charles Darwin (1809-1882) who revolutionized biology with his theory of evolution, novelist Charles [bleep]ens (1812-1870) who wrote such works as 'Great Expectations' and 'A Tale of Two Cities', French statesman Charles de Gaulle (1890-1970), and American cartoonist Charles Schulz (1922-2000), the creator of the 'Peanuts' comic strip.
  8. If I am on and I know where you are I will. (Retech with enough geomancy charges that casualty rating will go through the roof...) Anyways in this game we have "hammerspace" which allows you (within reason) to carry certain things. (Though I have found 3 items that would not go in <.< ) EDIT: Oh and that reminds me if you want to make your spells more powerful (like drop multi tonne pillar from the ceiling more powerful) then take the time to charge a spell of the school of magic.

Actually no.... that should have cost~ 500 billion because 1 billion per kilotonne 1 kilotonne kills up to 20,000 troops 150 kilotonnes to blow up a city. 500 kilotonnes to wipe out a wonder. 15 megatonnes to turn 1 pixal into water. 5 megatonnes for to widen the range by 1 pixal in all directions. Can only be done once.
  10. Grim_ replied to archimage_a's topic in Falador Tavern
Ohh [bleep] I got the tonnage mixed up
  11. Grim_ replied to archimage_a's topic in Falador Tavern
A thermonuclear weapon is dropped upon the island. 500 kilotonnes. A new councilor is put in place as well.

(imma get off soon [but approaching brute force ftw?) Madame if my memory is not failing you used "us" instead of "I" or "we". May I ask who your partner is? (The knights hands grow closer to their weapons slowly, the jamming intensifies and the land line is prepared to be cut)
  13. Grim_ replied to archimage_a's topic in Falador Tavern
While I disagree with you comparing the almighty to norse fairy tales, I will let it pass. God gave us this Land, God gave us life so that we may protect it from those who would lead us astray from his path. Those such as your 'Chosen of Odin'. But, I suppose what will hold more water with you, is that God gave us a majority of 48 States in the Third Continental Congress. God acts through the will of the people. Ahh so you have the majority of the 48 united states. Therefore you power should hold no sway in Canada. Furthermore how do you know that your fairy tales are the correct ones? Oh and I notice that you have been using "us" instead of "I" or "we" may I ask who your partner is?(the knights of 13 slowly inch closer there are around 3x as many as any security detail palin has. Outside of the debate hall divers get ready to board any ships)

If I remember correctly this is neutral grounds we are talking upon. May I ask how you know that your god is the right one? Please do not quote your own religious text or mention the number of followers as that is not indicative of correctness. Stating that you are chosen by "God" holds little water in my book and in my opinion is downright arrogant to presume that a divine being would meddle in affairs such as taxes or what certain people do behind closed doors. I also ask you how would your claim hold any more weight than if I claimed to be the chosen of Odin? Oh and what are your stances upon homosexuality? (Knights of 13 slowly filter into the room positioning themselves near exits and any security detail that palin may have)

The councilor responds: Please answer the question mademoiselle; are you or are you not the elected leader of North America? That question has nothing to do with damming the general american public to death might I remind you. Quite frankly I am hurt that you would think that we would be mere puppets to another state. I also find it rather unnerving on how defensive you become when asked such a simple question as if your title is self appointed or not?
  16. Grim_ replied to archimage_a's topic in Falador Tavern
I represent the government and the government represents the people. Leaving that aside, I also organised the sit in, I should think that demonstrate something to you. The councilor replies: Yes you managed to move people to apathy; that is a great accomplishment especially in this day and age! So you unanimously represent the governments of North america? Did they elect you or is this a self appointed position may I ask?
  17. Grim_ replied to archimage_a's topic in Falador Tavern
The councilor (read only one) replies: How can you be sure that the other nation-states of North America will go along with your plan? Does it not seem rather foolish and arrogant of you to presume to speak for all?

(OCC: Japan to Egypt...nice random countries chosen there...) Villains who twirl their mustaches are easy to spot. Those who clothe themselves in good deeds are well camouflaged, waiting for the right climate in which to flourish, spreading fear in the name of righteousness. So I charge you, you council of 13, would you defend us if we voted against you, would you grant us our freedom if we spoke against you! Your answers are clear as the noses on the faces of the millions of soliders you have stationed with our territory. For our protection? Bah, why would you invade us with two million men if your aim was only to protect us? Why slaughter 800,000 good Americans who were willing to die for their freedoms if all you sort was to protect us! Damn it don't wait for the translation answer me now! How can you stand upon the moral high ground when we can both see it is the corpse of freedom, honour and justice! So I charge you, you coucil of 13, that your motives are no different than that of the British, you seek to crush us, and I, nor my four hundred and fifty million fellow patriots, will allow you to have your wicked way with our sweet lady Liberty! If you did not move against us and our allies and truly wished liberty then we would have no choice but to comply. That is the nature of a democracy you see. We would gladly leave you if we thought you would not fall prey to the next ambitious nation down the block. Do not lecture us upon justice if you do not fix the ruling of corporations in your courts! That being said if you truly wish liberty then we will oblige. However if you are to attack our allies then we have no choice but to intervene. (Ohh and the jammers are online)
  21. Then you would want to specialize in healing and light magic (light being the closest to divine magic) good luck though as (at least for me) light seems to be rather slow going. Also healing takes awhile to train (though it's really useful). Dungeoneering is kind of like a open world/open ended DnD though (there is very little standardization [at least in spells] though some people like cosmetic things [like serpents made out of compressed flame])

The councils reply: Poetry is very good for poets, we however are not poets and should reply based upon facts. Your country is still recovering from a self inflicted holocaust and quite frankly there are far worse powers out there than the British. As has been said before any war would cripple you right now and leave you wide open from any nation ranging from japan to Egypt to South Africa to argentina. I ask you do you wish to be put under the iron fist of people whom you legislated against? Also what say you to our request of a speech on neutral grounds?

We cannot trust the British, not when they are yet to remove any armed man from our great nation...Would you trust the man with a gun to your head? The council of 13's reply: The British have a recent record of fair dealings with all nations and citizens. Whilst they may not be perfect they keep any corruption down and they are very good at providing services (something that was lacking I believe in your government) While we cannot change what they do we can advise you not to scream at the man with the gun to your head. Our great nation cannot stand idle while injustice is carried out. WE ARE AMERICANS we believe in freedom, justice and liberty and we would lay down our lives so that our fellow Americans would still have them. I stare into your barrels and say 'Do your worst' for I know that America will not shy from your guns, that we, we nation of free men and women, will never give in and never give up. The councils reply: Is this really that much different than what you have done in wars to "liberate" countries in the past? Furthermore are we not all one people in the end? Because as they say all are equal in death. Might I remind you of the nuking of Washington D.C? and of the destruction that followed? As part of the French or British state death will not rain down from the skies again. Oh and may I ask that you come to speak in a neutral territory? (ie haven from last game) LETTER ENDS That neutral territory will have jammers and no teleprompters at all. If she comes then all cellphones will be confiscated for "security issues" and given back at the end of the speach (and debate) while all signals to the island are jammed. EDIT: A land line is sent over to an island outside of the jamming and is used to set up live footage. She is also searched for microphones as well.

A withdrawl of troops from American Soil and an end to British Imperialism, a better future for America. The council of 13 replies: Would it not be better for the devastated states to join with a country that promotes democracy and is not so hard hit by war? How can Britian be a Democracy when they appoint our leaders and station soliders when we argue with them? We do not argue that Britian is perfect, we do however argue that Brittain has the potential to treat people fairly throughout their state (which is what france is doing)
