  1. Well, its not efficient to say, mine your own coal/iron, smelt your own bars, and then smelt and smith them. It is however more efficient to powermine your iron, sell it, and then buy your own bars of whatever type later and smith them. There is no reason you can't train both skills mutually exclusively. They are linked, but they don't have to be. With your method, your TECHNICALLYtraining 2 skills at once, but it takes so much longer that its not worth it.
  2. Ive always found fire staff far more efficient than catalytic. Its just too much hassle to create fire runes on top of everything else, and i would only consider it for a large. Thats kinda the reason you would want to be a pure in dung. Plus, its not that hard to hide behind your teammates, unless your doing a rush.
  3. Yes, but what benifit could be achieved by getting 99 smithing? Nothing that say, a partyhat wouldn't achieve in the same way.
  4. Yea, guess so. Logs are so easily obtainable in comparison to herbs. Sure, why not.
  5. I'm not sure about slayer helmet, if its really 10 def (not 40), i would do alot more slayer than i do now. Personally, i just do vannaka and safespot most of my tasks with range, dont have much experience with it so don't take my word for it.
  6. Ive always thought santas looked good, and funnily enough, they have always been just out of my reach. Even when they were 200k, i was like 50k off :( And its only increasing!!! (Though, with flipping it seems to be in reach :))
  7. Itid be cool, but i fail to see how this would drive away "nubs" in any way shape or form.
  8. Exactly, mage is crap. It needs at least blast spells in my opinion, i don't think a new spellbook is entirely called for.
  9. Ehh, ever since the crossbow came out its pretty much been best.
  10. I love the fletching bots who constantly yell 27...
  11. You can't put fun and efficiency together in the mix? ;) I don't see efficiency as a grindfest, it's simply using the best possible methods available to you. I can put fun and efficiency togethor, but not when the "fun" (and it really isnt that much funner, especially because fun is incredibly subjective), means you lose out on a huge portion of your XP as opposed to simply doing it the fast way. Infact, if your so obsessed with fun, its downright hipocritical to be obsessed with efficiency as well, because everyones definition of fun is different, you cannot have an efficient way of having "fun". I'm not in support of level 3 skillers, i already stated that i think its a problem and should be removed. All im saying is that if your worryed about dungeoneering XP, and you want to do it the fast way, your best off doing it with level 3 skillers.
  12. You know what you get from being the highest combat? You hit higher than everyone else. You get hit less than everyone else. You have epic summoning familiars that others don't have. Etc. You do not need more advantages.
  13. 99

Fastest skill no loss 99 is cooking or fletching. Fletching do broad bolts/addy arrows, or yew longs, makes money. Cooking is fairly obvious, you lose at the start, but at higher levels rocktails make money.
  14. Fun is good, but considering how you preach efficiency and say how ineffcient people are wasting time and money, this seems a bit hypocritical. Yea, its dungeoneering... Jagex doesnt really think anythings in the "spirit of the game", players play how they want to play, not how jagex wants them to play. I can rise myself above freeloading 50/50'ers by getting good at GOP and simply winning every game. You can't really rise yourself above freeloading level 3's, not only do they not try, they get more XP from you as well.
  15. You didnt see my edit like 0.5 seconds after your post.
  16. Oh yea, party hats and rares in general are worth way more than 99's if you can afford it.
  17. Base damage: 160 +15% from staff + neck: 184 +9% from mind bomb: 200.56 +25% (bonus hit): 200.56 + 50.14 So, erm, ko power? Yea, if you wanna risk 20 hours of work (3 mills worth if you have hilariously bad ways of making money) for something thats still worse in KO potential than a rune 2h.
  18. Assuming you don't do magic trees to 99, hell yea your gonna get your investment back. Herb runs are one of the best ways to make money in the game when you consider how much effort (or lack of) is required on your part.
  19. Coming from mister efficient player, i don't see how this would apply. Though yes, if its just about "fun" then your better off doing an actual dungeon with 4 other high levels. If you want faster XP, do rushes with skillers. I don't see how this is like 50/50...
  20. And not all bounty hunters RWT either. But hey, that was removed.
  21. Party hats will never really be "worth" it, but with more people playing every day, and such a limited supply of hats, theres every reason these things are worth what they are now. In my opinion, jagex should have removed them when they had the chance.
  22. Is suiciding a good thing?
  23. People seriously do that? I'm gonna go get claws.
  24. No, with 4 level 3's and a level 100+, everyone gets far more XP, especially because the dungeon is hilariously easy and made for level 20's. By comparison, with 5 level 100+'s, everyone gets far less XP, and the dungeon is actually a hard dungeon and made for level 100+'s.
