  1. Levels in general help with everything, unless its something useless like firemaking, and even that has its place in quests. Generally speaking, the higher you are on total level, the easier time you will have. And though total level itself is useless, no one cares. You don't see me making smithing more useful by making it give every other skill an XP increase at 99... They dont need any more rewards... Not to mention the existance of the world in the first place is reward enough without an XP increase...
  2. Lobster crashed hard enough with stiles thank you.
  3. I kinda do that as well, but with alching. Loses less money, don't know about the experience though.
  4. So, you dont really need to train skills as much at a higher level. Who needs more herblore levels when you already have overloads. I don't know about membership prices where you live or individual circumstance, but i don't think that really applys considering how cheap membership is. Considering maybe 1-2 hours of work can pay for a month of membership. And almost every skill is maybe 1.5-2 times more efficient in members worlds, money isnt really the issue IMO.
  5. Why? High levels already get advantages for being, well, high leveled. Do they really need EVEN MORE advantages over a normal player?
  6. Id say its subjective. If you consider "Low" as below average, then i think 1500 is pretty high. And unless its something ridiculous like powercutting teaks while fletching bolts and timing your drops to the game ticks so it doesnt delay woodcutting, i think most people would appreciate being told the most efficient way to do things.
  7. My in game sounds have always been permanently off, but whenever i entered lobby that hellishly bad music went back on. But, its all good now :)
  8. Why would they go down? Despite the addition of new pages, zammy book is still the best book. The other ones are crap as far as im concerned.
  9. I really don't see why 1500 worlds exist in the first place...
  10. Been asking for that for years. Would be awesome, especially if you could have two placeholders in two different places. Would really, really, really help with farming runs.
  11. Lolwhat? I'd only use it on under 1k herbs.
  12. ??? The pkers may have left, but they really just came back with a vengence in PVP worlds (and now they have crap loot to complain about).
  13. Stackable ess would be downright ridiculous... At least runecrafting would be easier though :)
  14. Ability to buy bank spaces. Moneysink, and more bank space, epic win.
  15. I almost get complaining about player mods, i dont get complaining about an extra M...
  16. Why not? Why does anyone go for 99 in any skill? Generally for the cape, or because its a good money maker. (that or you genuinely consider it fun or whatever, which i doubt in minings case but hey each to his own). Assuming your f2p, only one of these options exists, and that ends at 85 where the miniscule difference between powermining iron and banking iron will make little difference. Especially considering you can sell the iron later when you bank it :) ------------------------------------ Lets forget about the validity of getting 99 mining for a second... To get to 99 mining, you need what, 350k iron? Thats what, 80 mill when sold? Now assuming you save 60 hours from 99 mining, you have to be able to make 1.3 mill an hour (good luck doing that in f2p), for it to be worth powermining, not to mention how annoying powermining is by comparison.
  17. Yeah, it's not much of a difference but that 5k/hr adds up over the 13M Xp it takes to get 99. It's still good Xp/hr, and, as I said before, excellent when you add the fact that you're banking ores while doing it. Yeah, it really adds up fast. Powermining at 35k exp/h would take 350 hours from 70-99. Banking would take 410 hours. That's a difference of 60 hours, or 17%. I for one would not like to spend 17% more time on a skill that I really hate. Then again, power mining is also a fair bit more borring then banking so I'd have to test it to see if the speed was worth the price. The 350,000 ores it takes from 75-99 would equate to 78.75M which is a whole lot of money even for a person like me who has a lot already. With these values, it's closer to 1.3M gp/h that you'd have to make in order to have power mining be 'worth it' just in terms of getting a 99 as well as 80M. Of course, if you're planning on making money after 99 mining, you might as well mine rune which can make nearly that much. So I guess it's all up to personal preference; powermine and mine rune later, or just bank all your ores and sell them. The real question is, why go for 99?
  18. Who cares about z buffering, i just realized i can mute the runescape loading music again!
  19. I don't get why its always the "children" who are immature brats.
  20. Yes, we all know whip owns. Those weapons are really just for the spec.
  21. Not too far....I find it hard to belive that any item carries such demands above 500m. cause thats a heck of a lot of money. Well, considering the rarity of the item, its actually not THATTT bad. I mean, most people who want it are close to maxed who can make millions an hour monster hunting, not including things like merching. And could potentially get 500mill+ in around ~100 hours (which isnt that much considering some 99's take over 200+ hours) Now considering its a very rare drop from the strongest monster in the game...

No it doesnt. It means a long extended fight happened before hand, one of them ran and no one KOed because of safing or whatever. And the 2nd person gets the [cabbage] end of the stick when he kills one of those two people. I used to run around fighting people and walking back into safe zone and alching. Every now and then i would get random kills because apparently i did the most damage.
  23. As awesome as this would be, please dont make firemaking the next herblore... You know, that skill that every high level boss hunter needs so it drives the prices of logs through the roof and makes it impossible to train for anyone else?
