  1. Oh yea i fully agree with the sense of accomplishment, different people get it from different things. I myself get more of a sense of accomplishment from making 500k in one night than if would if i cut down yews for 2 hours or so. - but thats cause im a lazy bastard - If your referring to zarfot, he mentioned in his merching guide that he has never merchanted rares, and has only flipped. To be perfectly honest, that opportunity has always been there since the GE. Though if you have qualms with merchanting or flipping in general (Profiting off others, feels like cheating sort of thing), thats a whole other issue altogethor.
  2. There shouldnt even be that many skill requirements, there should be alternatives around except in some circumstances. The quests would be JUST AS HARD, you just wouldnt have to grind skills as much for them.
  3. The highwayman mask, white (samurai?) hair, white skin from makeover mage.
  4. Oh yea. But if someone grinds his fingers to the bone for 2000 dollars, as opposed to someone who sits back and say, watches his stocks rise for the same 2000 dollars (or a bit less), i know who i would rather be.
  5. Well as i see it, the race to 200m in all skills (to be honest, this is a bit ridiculous, but i'll roll with it anyway), shouldnt just be about who can play the most, but who can play the most efficiently. Maybe thats just me, but i would respect a player like zarfot over most over 2bill+ EXP people because of efficiency, even if he eventually did fall behind, that being said i respect most of them anyway, so meh
  6. I actually like the efficiency. Its always appealed to me getting the most XP/Money in the least time/effort.
  7. Well, i know for a fact that every time i play RS i search runescape in google. I also know that in non-browser games (not nessesarily wow, i quit that ages ago), i don't go off googling that game. People search runescape more, but that does not in any way infer that its more popular.
  8. Could really just be an offset of magic, prayer, or even summoning. Could really just be an offset of mining/dung. Another one of those "every skill in 1 skill" skills. Thats not really a new skill, just a new way to train other skills.
  9. Even if i wasent a member (i have been and will be), i have helped jagex in ways other than paying. Introducing friends to the game for one, helps jagex, especially when they end up getting membership as well (which most do), plus i look at there annoying laggy ads and help people out on the forums.
  10. Well it's still a skill, there's still the grind factor. Once the skill is complete (floors up to level 119), I imagine it'll be a very epic experience for anyone high enough level to fight Bilrach at the end every run. Yea... Its the grind factor that kills it. Its a skill, and theres a grind factor, i think it was somewhat designed to be like a quest, but its really not the same.\ Itid be like having to do monkey madness, only you do part one, then do part one and two, then do part one and two and three, then do part 1, 2, 3 5 times before moving on to part 4. Itid still technically be questlike, but it would be [developmentally delayed]ed as all hell.
  11. Oh yea, but its not a sequential kind of thing, chances are, your doing 1-30 over and over before you get to the higher floors, and other than the bosses and the background, its all pretty monotonous. One giant quest where your really just doing the same thing over and over, doesnt seem like some epic quest to me.
  12. Questing typically has more of a storyline than get in this dungeon and grind the same 30 levels over and over. Though yes, its kinda like a quest, you do need to grind the same levels over and over to get to the end, its not just a 1-47 kind of thing.
  13. Thats because you dont need to go to the wow website every time you play wow. I guarantee if wow was a browser game it would leave runescape in the dust.

  15. In my opinion, quests shouldnt have hard quest requirements, but should be so hard to do that without certain skills, it would be stupid to attempt it anyway.
  16. Point is, PVP armor is useful if you actually PK.
  17. In my opinion runescape is already starting to scrape the bottom of the barrel in terms of new skillls... I mean, dungeoneering is already a stretch as it is, what else could there really be?
  18. Is having to hop to 10, 20, even 30 worlds to try and find an empty one (possibly more considering the popularity of some bosses), really how you would like to be treated yourself? Just because you were there first does not give you ownership. Infact i could just go off and say that you have already had your turn, and thus it should be mine now, its only fair. [Equally stupid logic] So the next time your hogging a boss spot, and someone hops only to see you there, and you don't give up your spot despite the fact that you have already had your turn, ask yourself, what kind of husband do you want to be? [/Equally stupid logic]
  19. The community was pretty darned stupid back then as well. Opinion or fact, thats just my experience.
  20. No one ever teams on a NON-LS world. So good luck trying to crash that 138 with your hypothetical and non existant team.
  21. Unless its drastically out of whack like trying to mage black dragons with full rune, alot of this is just due to peoples own personal preference and not really "nooby" Omg this guy lacks +2 defence he noob naw.
  22. I just run away or farcast tanks my level, not even worth my time.
  23. Id say your technically not 100% f2p if you went in a members world for double XP :)
  24. Because PvP Armor protects over more valuable items. And because PVP armor, y'know, disappears after an hour. That's kind of relevant. He already adressed that in his post. Most of the time, you die before the hour of combat (maybe 2-3 hours of actual pking depending on how much time is spent looking for fights), so the time limit is somewhat irrelevant unless your a PJer or Rusher. Of course, this only applies in PVP...
