  1. Hopefully they never get maxed though :). Thats good. I've always been scared of having to eventually get defence to compete, don't like defence :)
  2. Then attack would be useless. Jagex seems to be against deprecating major featuresbased on their past actions. If they just changed all misses to 1's, then attack would still be useful if you wanted to hit over 1 :D Plus, attack is required to weild weapons. strength is required to hit over 1, not attack. I know that, thats why i said, IF. I bolded the quote for emphasis. You're still not making sence. If we presume, that all misses will have a minimum hit of 1 (as you say) then with a + 200 attack bonus and 0 strength, all you'd hit would be a string of 1s. If, in the same situation, you had a +200 strength bonus and 0 attack, you'd hit a whole load of numbers greater than 1. Unless there's something I'm not understanding. No as in, just change all hits that would originally hit zero, to hit one. Its not that complex. So if you have zero attack, youl just hit 1 all the time because your constantly "missing", with the occasional 1-200 because you actually hit. If you have high attack, youl hit 1-100 all the time, because your hitting.
  3. Well, im not level 80 myself, but from what ive seen, its a 1/10 chance of hit kind of thing.
  4. Don't worry! At least we get some great new dungeoneering rewards like a spell box that... saves 1-2 inventory slots...
  5. That item just happens to be the ONLY reward from the skill. You might have a point if it didnt require at least 82 dungeoneering to actually buy the weapon... If you could say, buy the weapon at level 40, and the ability to weild it was at level 80, you might have some sort of point as to the ability to weild it being a reward. But at this point, BUYING the item is the ability, because you can typically weild it far before you actually have the ability to buy it. THIS is a SKILL. In a skill, you do not suddenly lose all your work up to level 80 simply by dieing with a weapon. You don't see me losing the ability to cast ancients if i die with it, and then having to gain another 3 mill mage XP just to recast it again. No, that would be frikin stupid. In the same way that chaotic weapons, and all your work up to level 80, being lost upon death and unreobtainable unless you gain another 2 mill dungeoneering XP is stupid. So after losing your chaotic weapon, all you have to show for your 80 dungeoneering is a few resource dungeons, hardly adequate for the effort put into the skill.
  6. It's probably only intended for free players, lolz. That being said, it still isn't that useful. What do you save from that, 2 more food spaces? 2 food spaces, only f2p spells, 40k tokens, likely low alch price. TROLOLOLLOLOLOLOL.
  7. Oh yea, i fully agree it needs less clicks, thats why i don't really like mining as a skill in the first place. But saying "Its high GP/XP" its pretty bad justification for training a certain way.
  8. I hated the old randoms, especially the fighting ones. They are a heck of a fight, give 1/16 exp, and drop nothing good. -_- And if a random suddenly comes during the middle of fighting something really tough, you're screwed. Sandwich lady + Metal Dragons = Rage.
  9. name changing was a hard thing to decide how they would make it so people do what they do how they make it not abused seperating the user from the display name dealing with offensive name Yea, in the same way that the best weapons in the game being easily reobtainable would probably be abused.
  10. Yea. Pures have only ever been overpowered years ago. Nowadays, they are pretty much OP from level 1-30, slightly OP from 40-60, more than balanced from 60-70'ish, and anything from 70 onwards is underpowered, and 80, i honestly don't know how pures PK at 80...
  11. Stupid subpar australian servers. I didnt notice lag a year ago though :(
  12. Well. Whats the point of getting 100k an hour and 10k XP. When you can get say 120k an hour and 50k XP. It doesn't really seem like it achieves anything.
  13. Who cares about Gp/XP.
  14. Oh right. Yea that might actually be worth it. (Not for crossbow, i still think that things a waste of space, better off with almost any other chaotic).
  15. I guess it comes down to weather or not you give two flying excrements about dungeoneering XP, i for one, dont. Id say the staff is worth around all the rings, the crossbow probably not.
  16. I've always wondered, why do you have a naked black guy in your sig? Hes got a monocle...
  17. Like that is really a problem? Who cares if iron ore suddenly became overpowered, tbh. I'm still going to mine addy in the 45 dg resource dungeon because it's more gp/exp, and that is what counts to me imo. Powertraining kills me. Yea i love the iron ore. Great stuff, it was time f2p mining got a little easier in terms of XP. Plus its kinda fun kicking people out of your spot.
  18. I have faint memories of being given full iron. Was pretty fulfilled back then.
  19. Not much worse than getting iumbed rings for situational 4 str/4 magic/4 range or 6 magic def/att for the same amount of work. The chaotic crossbow is the BEST range weapon in game, no doubt, just as the staff is the BEST staff in game. Though neither of them might not be worth getting as the first chaotic, they are certainly more useful than the shields. Oh yea, it just doesn't seem as useful as getting a staff or another melee. Wait a second, same amount of work?
  20. Farmings great. Fishing, not so great, but its easily afkable
  21. Your impeding on my gameplay by being there. I shall now kick you out so that you are no longer impeding on my gameplay. Woot! In a game with so limited worlds, resources, etc. Its impossible for one person not to impede on another persons gameplay.
  22. Wow, 200k tokens for a 10 extra range attack? o.O
  23. Facefist. Just because they are a minority, doesn't mean they are suddenly superior to the general runescape player.
  24. Its not like that. Its more like, ive always thought botting was cool, but i don't want to get permabanned because my accounts already pretty good. Jagex: "Temp bans, TROLOLOLOLOLOLOL" Oh sweet! I'll just bot until i get a temp ban or 2 and stop.
  25. GET THE CROSSBOW! Lol.
