  1. Wow... thank you so much  . I finally no longer fail at chinning. Very well written guide!
  2. For me I was getting 40k an hour doing monks at 90+. And the few different types of fly fishing and barb fishing where anywhere between 45-50k depending on focus. (50 is very intense). I started fishing monks at level 65? and made roughly 45 mil. (fished a few k sharks as well).
  3. Wow, have not had time to read the whole thing yet, but great so far! I've always wanted to mine more stars \ .
  4. I played rsc on a different account but quit for 6 months with the coming of rs2... so i guess that means my new character will be left out... :?
  5. The entire evil bob fishing random. Even the old fishing spots havn't changed, ill post a pic next time i get it.
  6.  Maybe a few pray pots and wear monk robes. Nice pray bonus and expendible.
  7. No speed difference at all  . Just convenience. And I would definitely recommend monks. About 30k xp an our under lvl 90 and 40k after 90. Great profit too.
  8. I saw someone mention downloading photoshop on the site, but is it safe? Err and legal?
  9. As far as I know Jagex has not mentioned that. Although many players have suggested it.
  10. Those are some mad spread sheet skills. Thanks for a great guide!
  11. Easily. I went into DT thinking that it was going to be much harder than it was (only stat I had you beat in was range, but don't even think i used that?) as long as you have all the protection prayers you are golden. Just don't forget ppots and sharks!
  12. I've got about 20k monks atm, but the price has only been dropping. Should I sell now? Hold on? Any help is appreciated =). 30 day graph as of 1-17-09 [hide=] [/hide] 7 day graph [hide=] [/hide] Today
  13. Maybe in this hypothetical situation therefore we should refer to attack/strength/defence as one stat, else if someone likes combat he has already 3/5 spots reserved for those 3 skills, with hardly anything left to chose from. That's what makes it hard :-# .
  14. Hmm good points guys. Let's assume HP is included in melee stats. Also good thoughts on the magic, i forget how many things i take for granted.
  15. Imagine this... you've just finished dressing you new account and you are ready to fly through tutorial island. But this time you have an option to choose 5 skills, and these are the only skills you'd be able to train. What would it be? (The idea is to get the max out of rs possible with only 5 skills) For me it would be Fishing, Cooking, Range, Defence, Prayer. EDIT: HP is included with combat stats. Your turn #-o :D
  16. Ok. That is completely irrelevant. That is not irrelevant at all, you simply missed his point. With not enough tests performed, the result is dubious at best. I wish people would think before they tell others that their contributions are worthless. :wall: I found it humorous actually and a good example of what's wrong with the original numbers in this thread. I understand him telling me that I did not do enough tests. But flipping a coin is pure chance, you'll have one outcome or the other. There is little chance in fishing xp, especially when you get outcomes withing 1k xp of eachother. And to whoever questioned the 40k an hour monk fishing... It is posted on a few sites that level's 90+ get that much an hour, and it is what i get consistently, with no familiars.
  17. Ok. That is completely irrelevant. Hmm I guess I'm doing something wrong. I'll just stay with monks.
  18. WOW. Greatest guide on tip ftw? I have always heard about mouse keys but never understood them. This made perfect sense. TYVM =D>
  19. Ranging things that you make profit from. IE blue dragons and broad bolts.
  20. How do you guys barb fish? I start with 26? feathers and fish a full inventory, then cut all the fish and fish with the offcuts first, then drop those and use the roe and caviar as bait. Is there a faster way I don't know about #-o . EDIT: I did not mean to act like I know all about fishing, I was just mainly just posting my findings and hoping for some suggestions. But ty for the replies so far : .
  21. Anyone remotely aware of fishing has undoubtedly heard that fly fishing at Shiloh is very fast. And many others say that Rosolo fly fishing (west of fish guild) and barbarian rod fishing are the fastest methods in the game. But I've done a few tests that prove these wrong. I am currently level 97 fishing, and was bored of monks for a bit. So I did some test on xp per hour for the above mentioned methods. Here is what i found. Monkfish- 40k an hour 95+, 30k an hour at lower levels (and great profit). Tested MANY times. Barbarian Rod Fishing- 40k an hour (with cut all update), 38k an hour previously. Tested twice. Fly Fishing at Shiloh- 40k an hour (tried both methods, selling to shop and banking. Negligible difference). Tested twice. Rasolo Fly Fishing- 45k an hour (fish west of fishing guild and sell fish to Rasolo). Tested three times. So, technically Rasolo Fly Fishing is the fastest method but it is in my opinion no where near worth it. It supplies no profit. Opinions? Please don't flame. 3rd post.
