Are you [developmentally delayed]? Mages aren't supposed to beat range! However, its a crime that they can't beat melee like they're supposed to. A mage was never meant to have a bunch of defense either, their defense was to be able to freeze a meleer at a distance and strike without getting hit. So, to make that happen, mages need a longer bind, the ability to hit as high as either style (up to 20, as fast as a scimitar), and maybe higher attack bonuses. Replace range with warrior in my post, they still get demolished. change rapid 18s to rapid 25s at 99 str. learn to play. F2P MAGES BLOW. ALWAYS WILL NO MATTER WHAT WITH F2P SPELLS

^Exactly. the f2p combat triangle can not be balanced, and never will be. Its a range and str world. The only way to keep up with a rangers rapid 18s at lvl 99 with addys, would be to either 1. make mage spells faster 2. make mage spells stronger Neither of these will happen, so face it. Mages are forever screwed in f2p.

There is just no reason to get mad at something like this, and if anyone has that right, its Barack himself. He has to see his face in every single newspaper. Face it, this man is a legend. People have the right to be extatic, and i would encourage it.

I suggest that Jagex changes where the world map button is. So many times i am running and accidently click it and then have to wait for exit button to appear, and its just plain annoying. It would fit perfectly to the left of the compass, and there it would not be misclicked. Now that i look at it though, maybe they dont want it there because it would form the shape of a male genitalia. Either war, put it in the options folder or something. Even make it's own folder, just please move it out of the way! For those who dont know what im talking about, its the button on the bottom right of the minimap.

Teleblock, snare/entangle and possibly weaken spells are the only viable options, so they are they only answers you will get that arnt nonsence. Without making member runes f2p, or giving f2p access to staves and member areas, there is nothing that could be given to f2p. On the equipement side, you can put mages in all the fancy robes you want, with f2p spells they still suck. Topic/Failed

SARCASM. l2-f ing-p buddy And it's so easy to buy 99 prayer, smithing, herblore or construction. I mean you only have to make like 100 million gp for each of them, what a walk in the park. Did i say anything about those? no, i was just pointing out that these skills require a crapload of time. I know this because these are ones i am familiar with. I have never had high pray/smith/herb/cons on the other hand. We have a common enemy. Choose your battles.

Up untill the past few weeks, the Tip.it Times where a one article per week kind of deal. However, recently there has been a jump to three+ a week. I would like some opinions on if this is for better or for worse. I am assuming most people will say better, but i am wondering if there is anyone who largly dislikes Tip.it Times and feel obligated to read because of the service Tip.it provides. Once again, I am fairly sure everybody will be for, or neutral because they do not read the times, but let me know :

Hey TIF, I was just wondering how many of you have experience in computer programming. I dont mean coding masters, just anybody whos sat down by themselves and made a functional program start to finish. Since the majority of high schools offer introductory courses to grade 10 students, i suspect that atleast some of you have worked with turing/ python/ visual basic. I am by no means an experienced programmer, i have only taken the course mentioned above (finished with an 89 average \ ). For those are not familiar with computer program, it is basically giving your computer instructions. ex: -you could write games (runescape is writen in java) -you could make word programs -you could write instructions for a robotic arm Thanks for reading, Terra Aer ps: i could not find any other topics like this so forgive me if there is

I enjoyed this guide very much. While i am not an active participator in the GWD, it still interests me.

I do use the odd skill guide, for things like herblore or prayer, just so i can get the numbers. I would have to say i use quests more though.
