  1. May the best man/woman win.. :) Codguy 4 prez!! *cough*FAITHEROOSKI*cough*
  2. I'm so sure she appreciates you posting her physical stats on the internet, too. ;x Anyhow, looks like you had fun.
  3. Daww.. I was totally standing beside this stunner at the aviansies today..
  4. Wow. You know what's really funny, Robert, is just the other day as I was making a jam sandwich, I thought about you. I thought about what you said about Faith Hope and I laughed at the reactions of those surrounding you .. I said "if this man is conducting a social experiment, he's doing a hella good job at maintaining his stance". And dropped the subject. Props to you in the long run, Sable; that was interesting at best.
  5. Heh, funny stuff.. My sister, Lily, pointed this out to me, as my name is Faith. After presenting the news to me she jeered a bit, "haaaa haaa! How fitting!" (re: the brainlessness of the baby) I laughed it off and started reading the page, following links, so on, so forth, and I stumbled across Faith Hope's mother's friends, and then followed a link to another blog, which also was centered around a baby with Anencephaly, much like Faith Hope's story, except this baby has actually died. Her name is Lily. http://lilyblessings.blogspot.com/ I showed this to my sister (who I previously mentioned, her name is also Lily) and she scoffed. I thought it was a strange coincidence and I wanted to share. I have no solid thoughts on the matter, so I'm going to sit back and watch you guys debate.
  6. My favorite, harmless glitch was the one that came about with the Warrior's guild.. there was a game in there to gain tokens that involved balancing barrels on your head, well, needless to say, you walk a little funny when you have barrels on your head ;) so after you left the barrel-balancing room, the barrels would vanish but you'd still be left with the gait of a drunkard. That was great fun.
  7. inb4Faitality Aaahh, forum love, how cute. Yes, so very adorable  also, I'm not a creepy stalker-girl. I just have the sensibility to give credit where credit is due as far as appearances go. Is that such a crime?
  8. ... Sorry, I'll put this simply so I don't get in too much trouble ;) you're stunning. Edit: AMZY I adore the second picture. :)
  9. Kota is my hero. Keep truckin' along, buddy. Also, F your L. Ace doesn't love you. Good rap.
  10. Douglas Adams sums it up pretty nicely for me: Isn't it enough to see that a garden is beautiful without having to believe that there are fairies at the bottom of it too?
  11. Sadly suicide is becoming progressively more common as the years, no, days go by. It's an unfortunate event that affects most everyone surrounding them. Why do people commit suicide? I don't know. Maybe you should ask them. On a more serious note, I think people are driven to the point of insanity by loneliness and isolation. Depression is so common now that it isn't even funny (not that it was funny in the first place), and I don't think people are taking enough time to analyze themselves or their loved ones, and, as a result, by the time anyone catches on, it's too late. On a sociological note, we, America, as a nation have been spoiled into impatience. Everything comes to us at the snap of a finger, and I think we feel unfulfilled if our expectations aren't met immediately, not excluding emotional gratification.
  12. I know this is a fairly direct attack at some news I posted not but a few hours ago, but, c'mon, now, seriously (or not really, for that matter), this is OT. Probably 75% of the posts made here in the end get flamed by someone "THIS HOLDZ NO DISCUSSION POTENTIAL" (even though it truly may) or "Oh my god, this has been posted once before in 2007! Be more original!" Clearly we are all our own person and like reading different things, we all have our own definition of "interesting" or "enjoyable". What you find to be a topic of interest will not be someone else's, blah blah blah, so on and so forth. The fact of the matter is is that you can never truly please anyone at once, and as hard as we all may try, alas... :|
  13. So, let's assume that for the sake of your argument that even half the news posted on OT could be classified as 'proper news'... :P
  14. I was waiting for someone else to post this for a while, but I've seen nobody chime in on it so here it is. :) Apparently this woman bit off her partner's tongue because she was angry that she wasn't pregnant yet. She then asked him to comfort her with a kiss, he obliged, clearly, and off comes the tongue. Just the thought of a tongue coming off is... disgusting. http://www.mirror.co.uk/news/top-storie ... -21171190/ http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/uk_news/engl ... 923986.stm :wall:
  15. I probably would have done the same thing. I have a very overactive conscience at times, I have a feeling that would be one of them.
  16. I'd say go for it, make romantic advances. Don't be that guy who talks to us and completely tries to cover up the fact that he's into us. It's frustrating and really, you look and sound like a creep when you try to cover it up. :x If you've been holding back a little, by now you should begin to flirt. If she responds in kind, wait a week or so and ask her to go somewhere. :D Good luck.
  17. I have not heard anyone on this thread say that girls have more diligence than boys when it comes to playing the game, just that we go about it differently. I think you're overreacting. And, also, when has the game been solely about money? I don't know about you, but I play the game to have fun.. that's what a game is for, after all, right?
  18. +1 Oddly, I'm not sure I care whether or not I have or will ever kiss a girl... \
  19. Gender-benders are half the reason we're given a bad name on RuneScape. Before the trade update, my good friend lost his mask to a runescape female character that was actually a man in real life. It's sad, but it happens.
  20. Actually, I was applying some chapstick as I read the title of this thread. I like Burt's alright, some of them are a little nasty and make my lips feel grainy.
  21. Dunno about all you other girls browsing this thread, but the sexism flying around in here is driving me crazy.
  22. really? then how are people able to lip read? Because they rely more completely on it than I do and have lived longer. It's just a pretty pointless thing to want to learn given the difficulty and the complete lack of practical use if you're not totally deaf. I'm pretty sure in completely deaf people, even then, the comprehension rate is 70% or so at the highest.
  23. I think we're getting somewhere. :
  24. I have an answer and I'm probably going to get warned or banned for this but it is well worth it: [hide=][/hide] I think I have found their computer. HAR. Humor in bad taste is also often in good taste. No... it really, really isn't.
  25. That's cute. Obama: "... and it has 4 gigabytes of -" Queen: "4 what?" Obama: "Gigabytes, it's just a unit of measurement that..." Queen: "zzzzz"
