Well, personally, I'd go for a documentary. I fell inlove with making those after my first one. All you need is a camera (preferably of good quality), some tapes, and an editing program of some sort. If you're going hardcore, a tripod, a boom, and some other accesories would make things easier. EDIT: Actually... with 200$ that's almost impossible.....nevermind. I'm a film student, I already have a video camera and video editing software. :P What kinda budget are you thinking? Is travel an option, it's not really a project, but going somewhere new could be fun. I'm not looking to travel this summer. I traveled last summer and I plan to travel next summer when I'm done with college. I'd be comfortable with spending up to $200 for a new hobby/project.
