  10. Come on TIF. I cant be the only one who suffers from this CONSTANT bombardment of IGNORANT fools who bother you with the same idiotic question of "WHY ARE YOU CUTTING WILLOWS WHEN YOUR 99 WOODCUTTING" Is there ANYONE out there who trains their favorite skill past 99 and does it on something thats not the most hardcore derp herp xp rate "its all about kill count call of duty modern warefare" way of getting xp? Like mining iron ore with 99 mining? I MEAN SERIOUSLY. DOES EVERYONE JUST EXPECT YOU TO DO THE THING THAT GIVES THE MOST XP? To my own surprise, I'm posting this now when im cutting 10k of each log. I've only been asked this once, and i'm at willows at barbarian outpost. I cut my own maples for me to burn to get 99 firemaking. Which took me about a year. So I dealt with hearing that at seers bank FOR A FLIPPING YEAR. Now, I don't expect everyone in the world to know why im doing X when im already 99 in X skill. But some idiot just seriously asked if I knew that willows was slower xp then ivy. "DERP IVY ISH WAY FASTUR HERP" I love to wear my woodcutting cape, but sometimes Im just forced to wear my firemaking one, so dont tell me to not wear the woodcutting cape. This is just a plea to anyone out there that suffers the same fate as me.
  11. I guess I could of included that too. But thats not my point.

  13. Have fun in GOP. Everytime I try to play the teams are always stacked :[
  14. Alright. Lets think back to before the grand exchange. I'm sure this has been brought up in the past, but do you remember that there were way more people in "now-deserted" areas going about their daily runescape lives? I thought about this when I saw an old screenshot of ardougne. That used to be the place to train thieving. Falador used to be pretty populous too. A lot of areas were scattered with players, but I just cant remember all of them (I took a few breaks from runescape during that time, so its a little fuzzy sorry) Now this can be taken 2 ways, as I unfortunately see both sides of the argument. Any worlds grand exchange will have people just sitting there. Talking amongst their friends, sometimes firemaking or alching, or just enjoying watching people run by. This I can understand. I've done it a few times, but I avoid sitting at the grand exchange at all costs. Jagex's intension's for this place was to make trading easier. We all know this... But this grand exchange brought a mindset to the way trading is done. Sitting and waiting. Over the years runescape has become much easier, this includes trading. Trading can now be done by "sitting and waiting". What im afraid, is that this "sitting and waiting" mindset has been brought upon a large amount of people who seem to have been babied by the grand exchange, and the overall easiness of the rest of the game. this "sitting and waiting" mindset has been brought upon a large amount of people who seem to have been babied by the grand exchange, and the overall easiness of the rest of the game. I'm pretty sure the grand exchange was never meant to be the coolest hippest hang out spot in Gielenor. Now it seems I have drifted a bit off topic, but I had to make that point pretty clear, because I think that is the reason why we dont see players spread out through the rest of the runescape world. I did mention before, that there was another side to this argument. And this is an easier way to look at the subject. We have easier training methods. I'm sure some people will think about that before blindly posting. Now think about it. Was ardougne thieving really a good way to train thieving back then? Was the "fast xp rates of thieving" really why people were always in that city? Because I don't really think so. Ardougne is just one example. Have people been so worried and intensified by having the most hardcore xp rates as well? This is just another idea to the subject, when really my main concern is the grand exchange statement I made before.
  15. Derp people think they know how good of a company jagex is herp.
  16. Well I did some planning using tip.its skill planner. Right now, if I were to cut 10K of each log...besides normal, achey, and cursed magic, I would gain 11,452,000 experience. Leaving me at a final 46,752,090 (already have 2.9k willows cut atm however) So thats almost like doing 99 again minus 2M xp. Should be fun :p
  17. ..I got 1700 total. Then I got an omni tiara. Crafted a bunch of nats to 50 rc, played GOP for the first time, and then cut some more willows. Very long ways to go.
  18. I think its rather silly to think this will spiral into ww3.
