From time to time I find my self standing bored. Not knowing what to train, I do agree, they do spend their time very wisely on RS. As best as they can.

Getting all 99's in a short time like N0valyfe (2 years, is a short time for all 99's) Is pretty crazy. Something like THAT pretty much makes you look like you play the game quite a lot. If you played since like, 2004 and just got all 99's in 2008 or so thats different. If I never quit I'd probably have all 99's by atleast 2013...

Its not all about having patience. Pick a 99 that you'd really want to get. I got 99 woodcutting through yews because I just love woodcutting. If you don't like working toward your goal, its not the goal for you.

LOL WHAT :wall: so I ask this kid his mining level and he says 99. I say "right...seriously?" he says "99" and im like "K ima look you up." I look him up in microhelper and it says 99. So I go on rs highscores and look him up...and holy crap?

238 was it? I forgot. I did read it. I have 50 slayer my self. so I cant say a whole lot. Depending on my tasks I do find slayer a bit fun. Its extremely slow but it does have its rewards. I wouldn't consider getting any combat 99's through it unless your planning to get 99 slayer soon, after the combat 99's. Not much reward till 82+

I dont want to keep implying that by having no life means living in a basement (and I know thats probably just a joke) And to sparky, have you ever quit rs before? 8 years is a long time to get all 99's :P

I consider them people with TONS of patience. I have a mod friend who has 99 farming untrimmed. Hes actually a man who has a wife who does play rs, and he has a job. And still managed to find time to get 99 farming pretty quickly if you ask me. Same could go for high ranks too.

Normally, the first time we look at the highscores we would think "wow do these guys even have lifes?" (Thats what I thought...) Seeing massive amounts of xp in each skill. Most people would consider high ranking players to be "nerds who live in basements" Or just people who sit inside all day. Back then when most famous people didnt really give much information about themselfs, and rarely talked, it was widely accepted that these players didnt have much lifes. Then clan chats, youtube and other sources opened where high ranking players started opening up. We know Zezima is 23 (I could be wrong. Haven't read the interview in months -.- ) and goes to college. We know Gertjaars is 21 and doesn't live in a basement. Thanks to Youtube. But thats only 2 people. I have no clue about Season or Neversoft5 or Lover Romeo. I have met plenty of kids irl who spend way too many hours on this game. And of course we've all seen Hell slayer H. But really. I doubt the high ranking players are these 12 year old kids. If they were, I'm sure there parents would do something. So do most people get the wrong idea about these players? The ones who get 200M xp skills extremely fast, im not too sure..But other top 21 players. And I can see why most people would think they play the game too much. (read n0valyfes interview...) Discuss.
