Since we waited an extra week, this update better be better than the other ones. Then again, I don't mind if updates do delay that much, due to things like technical issues.
  2. Just a slight bump. Keep a watch on Phoenix Odin, he jumped from 400k to 75k left to 200m today!
  3. Today. Yesterday he was still 400k from 200m iirc. OMFG 200M RC@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@
  4. Well, all I can say now is good luck to all applicants. I wonder who will be the new faces of the crew... :-k
  5. Ah, I see you have similar goals as me :D that gives me more incentive to train up my stats lol. Thanks for posting! Also, shadow silk hoods are badass.
  6. So I'm browsing around the forum, and am surprised no one has made a volleyball topic yet. Volleyball is by far my favorite sport. For one, it doesn't involve body contact in any way, so I don't get pushed around as often. It's also one of those few sports that require extensive amounts of skills to master - you gotta learn how to serve, receive, pass, set, spike, block... ohh the fun stuff. You can't just learn one aspect of the sport and pwn at it. You need to know every aspect of this advanced skill. Anyways, do any of you play volleyball? If so, how do you guys play it? With a real net? Or just get a bunch of people standing in a circle hitting with each other? Do you guys choose to play volleyball in your free times, or do you resort to other sports? Myself, I'm part of the volleyball team in my school. Our school doesn't have a permanent net set up (it's only set up during after school practices), so we just get a bunch of other guys and gals from our team and play together. We ALWAYS play volleyball in our spare time, no exceptions. Since only we are the only hardcore volleyballers (it's quite unpopular in our school, unfortunately), we got plenty of space for ourselves to play and practice together. When we were playing in the tournament though, we really didn't stand a chance... ended up in 5th place, just one ahead of last. As for tactics, I'm pretty good at receiving and passing the ball to my teammates, mostly the setter. I can usually get the ball where I want, provided it isn't hit TOO hard. Actually, part of the reason why we lost is because the opponents have DAMN amazing serves  I can do serves and spikes well, but I can't really block, and I'm actually not a good setter, surprisingly. Mainly because I'm not that good at hitting the ball with just my fingers <_< Also, I'm surprised volleyball doesn't have their own "teams" (aside from olympics), like basketball/soccer/baseball/hockey/etc. It's a GREAT sport, I'm sure it has excellent potential for that! It would be really interesting to watch as well  Let's see if we can get any other experienced volleyballers to post in this topic! Pride to the volleyballers :P
  7. Kinda derailing the topic a bit, but what's the max possible xp at floor 60 w/ 60 prestige? (All rooms open, all monsters cleared, 5:5 large, no deaths) Heard it surpasses the 200k mark.
  8. But the opportunity to become elite is still there, no? Myself, I started waaaaay late, can only play on weekends/holidays, get into other games for a bit, and cannot become a member atm. But if I actually had the time commitment, I would train myself up in a heartbeat. I'm pretty sure the most people who aren't elite, but WANT to be elite, have some sort of reason similar to mine, which explains why they aren't elite right now. Also, fun is subjective. I personally find training every single skill and playing every single activity/minigame fun, because of the things you do AND there's clan chat/friends/people near you to cheer you up. But let's not get into this any further. There needs to be elite-level content for all skills, period. No reason not to. And by the way, 13m xp isn't THAT much. With the consistent updates Jagex gives us, 13m xp is muuuuuuch easier than back in the old days. Then again, I started way late and am f2p so I don't have any 99's.
  9. Wait till nats rise to over 200 and THEN sell them. Much more effective this way ;)
  10. Because unlike being an elite-level, where ALL your levels are in the high-90s, pures have limitations like that crappy 1 def people love talking about. The game CAN be custom-tailored to meet the deeds of the elite, since ANYONE can get those requirements. However, because pures/skillers/etc are purposely limiting themselves one way or another, there is literally NO reason for the game to be custom-tailored to them.

His task is black dragons, not demons <_<
  12. Sonic3190. GAHHHHHH why did I choose a very uncreative numbered name lol... as a kid i was a huge Sonic fan (played all the GBA Sonic games! ;) ) so I couldn't really think up of anything else. As for the number it was just some random thing I came up with. As I grew with the name I realized how awfully uncreative it was, and name change happened to be members. :wall: If I COULD change my name though, I would change it to: Sonikku: Just like my forum name. :D It's basically a Japanese pronunciation of Sonic. An idea I got from watching lots of Youtube, lol. MC squared: MC is my initials, and because it so happened to fit the E = mc² equation, MC squared was my first thought. Only if I could become a member though... GAHHHHHHH stupid Jagex and their western bias :x

Ranged is always faster than magic when stealing monsters iirc. But you could have worldhopped anyway.
  14. Hmm, very, very interesting. But if ranged produces similar xp rates to melee (assuming you don't flash prayers), and costs hella more, then why do the top f2pers go for ranged more? That's just what I'm really considering. I've always assumed melee was the easiest option to go for.
  15. Gratz on 99 cook and all your other 99s  Hurry up and finish those last 2 rc levels already xD it's taking forever lol.
  16. Play with friends, or form a permanent team (people in your cc or friends are very good for this). You will have a MUCH better time dging with people you trust.
  17. Sure, free trade will eliminate junk trading, but how will that eliminate street prices? People will still pay for street price, except they are using actual cash for it. Even if GE prices adjust to match street prices, people will still offer higher for street prices (especially rares). That's not even saying all the problems that will occur with free trade back (mentioned in OP's post). Regardless, I think keeping a trade limit is kind of pointless now, especially with the GE in place which almost everyone uses anyway.
  18. At first I was part of the "overpowered" group as well, but after reading the limitations of this suggestion, I'd say it would work. I don't know how complicated this update would get though... it would also require TWO summoning tabs, which means a rework of the inventory tabs.
  19. I tend to ignore that kind of thing until the guide is finished since it is so trivial, but thanks for mentioning this! I'll update it later.
  20. Good luck buying them all >.>
  21. I find that rather mean to be honest... really it's the attitude and knowledge that makes a person good at dg, not skill level itself. Though I understand why you guys may want 3 binds only...
  22. Prolly not going to buy prayer. Gonna get it via dg, chaostemple, killing monsters, etc. ^ Thank you :)
  23. Currently revamping the leveling guide. Also is the lores section really allowed here? After seeing what happened to Rswiki I don't really know if it should be there or not...
  24. I know, I already read the post. Thing is, for giant spiders since there are so many of them it is entirely possible for both melee and range to be attacking every single tick. This also means competition is never a problem. However, because range requires restocking whenever the arrows are all used up, it's more of a hassle. Like I said in the above post, melee enables you the option to stay as long as you like.
  25. For all those that have 99 combats in f2p, can you guys fill me in on which is faster xp/hr? - melee: afking giant spiders, max melee bonus (rune scim + berserker) - range: giants w/ addy arrows, max range bonus (maple shortbow + full dhide) This is something that was discussed in the 200m in all skills thread, and I thought it might make an interesting discussion here. Makes me wonder why there are more ranged 200m'ers in f2p as well.
