What happened to this community?
I think it's not an issue of anti-efficiency (although that indeed is one of the problems). The main issue is people with personal issues with other posters. Face it... with personal attacks come MASSIVE flame wars that derail the topic by a large scale. If mods and others don't chill out these flame wars, this forum will become a disaster. And right now, I can already see personal vendettas against certain other posters... Stonewall vs the staff, for example. (I'm not against efficient posters in any way. It's just when they FLAME others, that's when it becomes a problem.)

Freak Like Me - Worst/Weirdest Habits
I always pull my hair when I go to sleep. When I wake up the next morning it's always a tangled mess <_< When I talk, not only do I speak, but my hands do certain motions as well. It looks kind of odd when you think about it, but for some reason I keep doing it. Also, I'm only talkative if others speak to me. Otherwise, I don't speak that much. But when I do, I always get carried away...

As an extra tip: put anchovies on the given pizza to increase your profits. You can bank the food, but not the hamper itself, keep in mind.

Dungeoneering, Fast dg, and anger
I say if you get the "leecher" title, you automatically get 0 xp (just for that person though). Sounds fair to me.

That was easily the worst event I've ever seen
Worst thing is, for those that HAVE done it last year, we can't do it again... :( I enjoyed killing the turkeys though, hitting massive numbers were fun. (You can do that in A Soul's Bane too, but only during the quest...)

A historical moment is drawing near
If Odin really wants 200m dg before 200m rc, he should just forget it. He has less than 25k rc xp left, but still has 40m dg xp left. At the rate at which he gains rc xp and dg xp, he would surely get rc first...

The F2P General Discussion Thread
So now I managed to finish all the new Lumbridge tasks, and went to Explorer Jack to claim 100k and a few other random pieces of junk. Will probably do the 68 smithing one and as many Falador/Varrock tasks as I can later. Also thanks to today's slight update, the 4 hidden tasks are back on the list.

DERP HERP Y U CUT WILLOW *or any log thats not ivy* WHEN UR 99 HERPPP
You really shouldn't care about what others say to you tbh. Just keep training your favorite skill ;) Most people just get 99s for the 99s or the cape anyway. They don't really "enjoy" it.

24-Nov-2010 - Tasks and Skill Targets
For the rat task, the "controlled" option does NOT work on scimitars and maces... just a heads up. Also, a lot of these tasks are too overly easy... and ultimately pointless. But at least the ability to do certain Varrock/Falador tasks in f2p is nice.

Who Remembers...
Sadly I don't remember anything back in the old days... OMGGGG WHY DID I START MY ACC IN SEPT 2007 AND NOT WAAAAY BACK LIKE EVERYONE ELSE D: The only thing I remember was getting scammed 5k (my only cash at the time) trying to get a partner for Shield of Arrav quest.

What happened to everyone?
Like what everyone else in this thread is saying, the GE is indefinitely a better option for trading. I mean, who enjoys standing at one spot for hours spamming "buy law rune 1k!!!!!!!!!!!!!"?

I don't notice a difference in speed when dungeoneering, at all. It's always the same regardless of what world I'm on. :-?

Dungeoneering Suggestion
I'm sorry, but I don't see how PvP and dungeoneering can fit together... I am in support of a "race dungeon" though.
-
Age has once again, failed me.
To be honest, I like having the GE around. In the old days you have to keep spamming in your chatbox what you want to buy/sell, and sometimes it takes a real long time. With the GE, I can just place my offer there, and do something else in the meantime.

Sonic - rip blogging
Lol haha, mostly when I play the situation is like that as well. :P The teams are unbalanced, that's for sure, but at least I have a lot of fun doing so! I'm a GOP def noob.

Sonic's F2P Dungeoneering Guide

Really? I thought green orbs generally spawned in the north-east, not north-west. Also, I tend to respect green players more. NOT because it's my favorite color (though that's part of the case :P ), but it's because of these disadvantages that green has with the orb size that makes them better imo.

Uhh, the other point of that post I made was also to compare the longsword in comparison to the rapier... Longsword has a very slight stat advantage than rapier in terms of stab, but the speed advantage makes rapier superior there. What's interesting though, is the slash. Unlike spear, longswords CAN be used on berserker style for slash, which definitely means higher dps in that compartment. Look at 2hs if you don't believe my slash comparison... With this taken into account, the rapier would be the stab specialist weapon, while the longsword would be more of a slash/stab hybrid. In this case which would be better? Also, why use a battleaxe (which its crush/slash is inferior to the 2h) for keying, when you can use either of the two weapons to cover up the 2h's no-stab weakness?

[CONFIRMED] No update today
How is it crappy, when an update that makes huge modifications to the world map (Jade Vine maze in particular) can potentially have game-breaking bugs if released too early?

Just decided to do some calculations with primal rapier, longsword, and spear (all stab). This all takes into account if the person is using tier 10 berserker. Rapier: +109 str x +20% = +130.8 str Accuracy: +83 stab Speed: 6 Longsword: +134 str x +0% (controlled) = +134 str Accuracy: +87 stab Speed: 5 Spear: +145 str x +0% (controlled) = +145 str Accuracy: +132 stab Speed: 5 Now, when adding together the totals, rapier still has very slightly lower bonuses than longsword, but is 1 tick faster, therefore it appears it is slightly better at stabbing. However, take into account of the spear. It has waaaaay more accuracy along with more str even without zerker, so it appears rapier might fall low in the stab region. This isn't even taking account into 2nd styles. Rapier has a +67 slash coupled with the +130.8 str, which the slash is significantly lower than longsword's +120, which can use berserker as well (+160.8 str). Even the primal spear has +70 slash, along with +113 crush (although neither can use berserker). With this taken into account, is rapier really THAT much better? Just wonderin'.
