I have been thinking about dungeoneering again lately (when do I not? :P ), and thought about rushing and whatnot. I'm curious as to why most people in f2p prefer to kill everything, as opposed to large rushing. I don't see how level mod is that significant - I always rush my keyed larges and still get around the same xp as killing everything. Even the Dragoons clan itself prefers to clear all rooms except dead ends, unless someone specifically states otherwise. Basically in my view, only kill stuff you're supposed to (guardian, puzzle, pre-boss). Makes the dg faster and you don't gain as much combat xp. Especially important for folks like me with less than 90 combat (who train cb via dung).

I think it's more of an issue of armor being underrepresented. Monsters in Daemonheim practically hit through armor as if it wasn't there. If armor actually defended you as it should be, then it can be considered an option as well. As for the hood, make magic-based monsters (especially forgotten mages) more common, and just like that the hood becomes less useful. Attack styles are underestimated as well. Honestly how many people pure range/mage? Hell, even longswords are underused because stab is less useful than crush/slash on most floors...

Larges can be done in trios. Though, I guess that is slower than five-man larges, since people don't really do them... Also to create a PROPER formula, we need xp rates for ALL floors, done c6 5:5 large, all rooms opened. Given the state of f2p and member doors, as well as p2p and c1's, this would be tough... I would love to see a formula created though.

I doubt most of us would really care about these products. I mean you know what happens when people irl know you play Runescape... imagine if you wore a t-shirt RS related.

Well I finally got all red rings in Sonic Colors. Cleared all the Sonic Simulator acts as well. Currently working on S-ranks, then clearing all stages as Super Sonic. Also, probably will clear Challenge Mode once if I feel like it. My new Taiko no Tatsujin game still hasn't arrived yet ;_;

Wow... ever since this basketball freak in my grade got cut from the basketball team last week, he has been CRYING about it and hasn't stopped. To be honest, I don't really recall anything I did that was "nice" in recent times... that is if you're talking about the helping others in need kind of thing. With that out of the question, whenever people want to play a game in the gym at lunchtime break, I always try to join. It doesn't hurt to join in whatever they are doing, right?

Nope. Magic accuracy does not affect damage in any way.

Dark mornings. I have to get up at 6:20am for school, but since it's winter, at this time the sky is really dark outside. When it's dark I just don't feel like waking up. :\ DAMN YOU WINTER.

Use glory. Not only does it have a wider variety of bonuses (unlike str), it has the ability to teleport for 4 charges. It's already been proven how power > str, so the same should apply with glory.

Iron is lots and LOTS of competition at the Dwarven Mine (banking at resource dung), but it's 30k xp/hr and 200k gp/hr. Coal earns you less but there is not as much competition, plus the coal can be used for superheating bars. Use the coal bag if mining coal, and mine in the mining guild.

I imagine Runescape would be a lot more dumber without these fansites here. Face it, the KB is majorly screwed up, and Jagex's forum system is obviously inferior to other ones out there, like these forums for example. Also the RSOF is trolled enough - it doesn't need to be worse. If anything, fansites are improvements over Runescape's current community. However, as others stated in this thread, fansites are the results of popularity, not the other way around. There are still TONS of misinformed people even with tip.it around.

A way to solve the combat triangle problem would be to give range/magic infinite ammo (just like melee) but that would be a bit gamebreaking. Runecrafting would essentially be done for, so no, it's not a good way. I say just create more monsters that require you to range/mage.

Instanced monsters wouldn't really work. For one, not everyone will actually be prepared for one if it appears. Also, not everyone is a killer, and stuff like this will just unnecessarily disrupt their other activities. Bonus xp weekend actually works, because anyone and everyone can participate in it without actually hurting anything (except prices, but they calm down after a while).

To everyone wondering why the hell OP is cutting willows, he said he wants to cut 10k of each log. Don't ask why he finds this fun. Then again, don't ask why people think any activity in Runescape is fun. If they think it's fun, let them be. No need to jump down their throat. Fun isn't objective, neither is opinion.

Lol... there goes another myth. "exp on gives team moar xp!!!!!!!!!!!111!!" Still, in a more technical point of view, unless you're a pure/skiller, there's no reason exp should be off. Who doesn't like free xp?

Yeah titles are purely there for fun. Try for more challenging ones like I Can Has Heim Crab or WoopWoopWoop! Speaking of which, what are the requirements for that title? I recall it's keying as fast as you can opening every door in the dungeon. And 65k in a f2p f35 large... wow that's DAMN amazing :shock:

The USA has finally learned something obvious, heh. No matter how confidential and secret you want information to be, sooner or later this stuff WILL spread. And once it does, just let it go on. Once there is a leak, it's impossible to fix.

Yeah friends are probably your best bet at this point. If you're seriously considering larges all the way, start your own in w117 and key yourself. Of course if you have enough friends with you, you can just large with them.
