Nightgazer is more annoying imo. :\ If Stomp blocks rocks too much, run away from melee range. He will use rock attack more often, helping you clear rocks. But yea, sometimes the rocks are in such a way that even running under them won't help...

Went and dg'ed again today! Started off by making my own f24 large with randoms. God do those people never listen... they always insist on doing their own thing, and I had to solo clear AND key at the same time! To get an idea of what I cleared... - a lvl 143 brute. - a tier 9 ranger + lvl 67 shade in one room. - a bunch of random lvl 50s in multiple rooms. - a lvl 115 (tier 11) mage. - a lvl 114 iron dragon (DIED to it once due to no pray). Our boss was Lexicus. Tried solo clearing it, failed and died 3 times. Made my mates do the dirty work while I opened more rooms. Whole thing took 1 1/2 hours. Reward? 6.9k xp. Done rant. --- Now, after that horrid fun mess of a dungeon, I went and dg'ed with Pink. We did a f27 first with Lilac, went by fast. Died 3 times due to carelessness keying... Lilac then had to go so Pink and I duo med'd 25, 26, and 28. These were far better than the others. One of them I even got 9.6k xp, and that was within 20 minutes... Also trapping monsters is fun ;D

You may be onto a good point with luck here. Some things probably ARE predetermined, which explains why I have such bad luck with certain monster drops. This can probably be extrapolated to dging as well. I tend to get monoliths WAAAAY more than mercenaries or ramokees, and dragons always seem to appear in large dungeons I go into. I also have horrid luck with dg journals, so many Icy Bones kills and I still haven't gotten the Troll notes :wall:

If dg armor actually had soak then this update would be useful to me. But since it doesn't, from what I recall I don't think any f2p monster hits 200+. So yea, fairly useless update.

I'm assuming this is the Mercenary Leader room? If so, put on pray magic and range the mercenary leader. Should he ever spawn rangers, tele out. Trap warriors in a corner. If not, well just exploit combat weaknesses.

Get all f2p stats 70+. Get a handful of cash, 10m would probably be my goal amount. Get members if I can.

If some guy is just there training mage, house suicide after 1k charges. Chances are that low lvl guy won't even bother taking charges.

Just a heads up: armor in dg do not soak any damage, so no strategies will be changed. I WILL update this guide some time, just that crew and irl stuff is putting me in a hell hole :\

Runecrafter robes do not give soak of any kind. GF f2p mage. Dg armor also do not soak. They officially still suck.

Only rune items and green dhide get a damage soak. Looks like f2p mage is still on the short end of the stick :mellow: Armor in dg aren't given a soak either, so they are still fail.

Very neat update. I just wonder if it also shows the damage blocked by protection prayers though. That would be pretty neat.

People already know what is the best even without hit formulas... As for the formula itself, I don't think there is actually one. It probably runs on a dice-rolling system. The higher your levels are, the more sides favor you.
