  1. So this means the rumored dragon defender won't be happening this week? Unless we access a new dungeon where the monsters drop dragon defenders... I dunno.
  2. Train your combat via dungeoneering if your cb is below the 90 mark. Otherwise, giant spiders.
  3. That's the Dragoons to you. ;) Seriously though, I really need to work on my keying. Also I need to learn to not die either :P Also, any tips on soloing 5:5 bosses? I want to give that a go someday :D I'd be damn proud if anyone can solo the nightgazer on a 5:5.
  4. Give us the ability to plant multiple spirit trees. That should give them more uses. Maybe add another in Lunar Isle or the far reaches of Morytania or something.
  5. Since when did I imply that efficiency is the only way to play the game? What I'm implying is that it is the most EFFECTIVE way to play the game. There is a difference. As far as ignorance goes, you were the one with the "too much grinding" opinion on the Exclusive Content thread. Again, you can be efficient, but you don't need to grind out your gameplay. Personally, my play time maxes out at about an hour or two each day, more if it's in the holidays. Way less than the average RSer. This is why I CHOOSE to play efficient, and get the most out of my gameplay. But what's to say I don't enjoy it? RS is a great game for me, thank you very much.
  6. I understand not doing it due to certain nationalities, but refusing to do it? That brings up another annoyment. When people refuse to try new things, that irks me up a lot. Congrats, you just missed out another opportunity in this short, ample life.
  7. Except normally I can just right-click spam everything on top of my deathpile and still get everything back... This is also a huge pain in the ass while dging, because you won't be able to loot food that easily. With low LP, spam-clicking the food really is important...
  8. Try looting food or picking up items on death with the new system.
  9. I guess increasing the level cap and/or adding more constitution/defense boosting items would fix the combat aspect. As for other skills... I don't really think the grinding aspect of most skills can be "fixed". I think the best solution, though, would be to give them more high-level, untradable updates similar to herblore, so that more people will have incentive to train these skills. As for people using only 1 type of weapon/armor, it's because in a particular group, no matter what there will ALWAYS be one best weapon, and everyone will use it. So, that's probably not fixable either. I don't know if Runescape 3 can totally solve this. That is, unless they use a TOTALLY different game engine. What can they switch to, from Java?
  10. Read back a few pages but I saw a really good point: And THIS is why the community in GenDisc will never calm down. There are people that will always be ignorant towards the "efficiency freaks", when in reality they are just wanting to help. I can already see quite a few people in this thread behaving this way... one of them found in the SAME page as this quoted post.
  11. Nope you still cannot do the double nats task in GOP. You need 28 free spaces, and unfortunately 2 of these are taken by the wands. The RC robes effect do not work outside of GOP either, sorry :(
  12. Pink, you might not have done the smithing task in the Varrock tasks. Requires 70-ish smith, I believe? Keyed a f29 large today (me, Sees, Lilac, N3crid, and Bahai). Gotta HATE dragons, got 1hko'd by a friggin iron drag cuz I forgot to pray magic >.> otherwise tho, that dg went by fast, less than half an hour lol. Sees soloed a lvl 167 Sagittare while the rest of us were opening/clearing rooms, lol. Got a monolith, but even that was easy. Something unrelated, quitters in gop are so frustrating. Our green team won the first 4, but yellow left on fire, so we only got 570 tokens... the punishment needs to be to HALVE the token cost for next game, not 10 minute timeouts.
  13. Flaming thread is one example of those threads. And don't get me wrong, I'm not offended. I just don't see any reason to have these type of discussions here.
  14. Nope probably won't be members for a while. I'll probably get mem when on my winter break, but we'll see. I haven't even reached 70+ all f2p stats either D: Also, as a side note, I just got Sonic Colors today. That means less RS for a while. But, I'll still play here and there ^^
  15. This. If you're not willing to put in the effort to accomplish goals, then quit.
  16. Just got the game... I must say, it's brilliant! Probably the best Wii game I have played so far. - the gameplay in itself is outstanding. Although it's mostly 2D, there were its 3D moments and they were quite good. Overall I like the 2.5D concept. - the zones in itself had a great level design. I would like to say right now that the background in Starlight Carnival is very stunning! - the power-ups were useful, and had nice references to Mario. Namely, the green float wisp, the blue cube wisp, and the yellow drill wisp. - this game is also quite challenging. A lot of the red rings were well hidden, and although I'm only on Planet Wisp so far, it definitely isn't your average casual game. I actually game over'd on Starlight Carnival 3 and Planet Wisp 1, both times trying to get those damn red rings <_< - the story is just your average Sonic story, although the cutscenes were done pretty good. Not much to say here. Overall, Sonic Colors is a really awesome experience. I can't wait to see what awaits me in the later zones! :D (Btw, how is the DS version?)
  17. At 85 combat, the banshee boss really isn't that hard on my p2p... just wear dhide, pray melee, then ranged when the rangers are summoned. It's a short quest if done right. With the matter of the full slayer helm, it's not the price that's hard. It's the time it takes for the ability for the full slayer helm. That being said, do as many quests as you can! Also, focus on getting as many tasks done as you can as well. Good luck on your journey as a member ;)
  18. Hell yeah. People really need to stop taking offense at every single flame that they receive. Besides, can't we just keep this all on one continuous thread? When a new one of these pops up, it kinda gets annoying as well as redundant. Or better yet, we shouldn't even have these type of threads on these forums.
  19. I say this again. If the personal conflicts between users here in this forum do not get cleared up, the flame wars will just become more frequent and common. There needs to be a rule, that arguments should never involve attacks directly towards a user. Right now, the only resemblance of a rule that is similar to this is naming people in a negative light, but I don't think that in itself is enough to justify this problem.
  20. We can eat as many food as we can and drink as many potions as we can and never get sick. In fact, they actually HELP us no matter what. Also, all bankers across the world can magically hold your items no matter where they are.
  21. Youmu replied to kingmickez25's topic in Off-Topic
Fragility isn't even a problem when you don't let it fall to the ground. <_< But yea. Get a DS Lite, best DS ever. Make sure you play on the darkest light to maximize battery life.
  22. Gratz on 60 thief! Yep go ahead and do the Dealing with Scabaras quest. (I can tell why you made this thread btw. xD)
  23. Wait, why isn't the person in monkey form? Does this mean you can do this quest without having to be a monkey? If so, I can see this becoming easier than Monkey Madness... unless there's another hard boss at the end.
