So, one day I decided to go to the wizard's tower to play the Great Orb Project. Right at the entrance, however, there were a group of people using doors to shut off other players in the individual rooms. They shut me into one of the rooms, and even when I asked politely, "Can you please leave the door open?", they continued to play around with me. Eventually, I had to cabbage-port out. It's not just players shutting doors, it's when doors automatically shut or when you find that they are already closed. It's not just doors either, it can be gates, manholes, trapdoors, whatever. This may not seem like much, but whether a door is open or not can mean life or death (if in combat). This also wastes seemingly insignificant but precious seconds. Remember, time is money. Why can't Jagex keep them open? Like, disable the option to close doors, and make it a right-click "Examine" just like all the other stationary objects. Or maybe let players walk through open-able doors/gates/etc. Revenants can do that, and since they are used to replace pkers, players should have that ability too. And don't those players that keep closing doors have something better to do instead of wasting their time? Same with all those people just randomly chatting in Lumbridge/Varrock/Grand Exchange.

About what happened the other day... sorry that I couldn't play GOP with you. First of all, I had a penalty for suddenly disconnecting, and when I logged back on, my parents had to call me to dinner. Perhaps we can play GOP some other time?

Sadly I do not have any levels to post, so I'll just post what I'm currently doing. I'm rcing air runes for now. I also tested air runes with the Varrock teleport.

Ok, I'll be honest. I do subconsciously avoid talking to unpopular people. Usually, it's the more popular ones that give me a good laugh. Though, it's probably because I'm fairly popular in my grade as well, and that the popular people take up half of the grade. And to all the popular people hate, I beg to differ. A lot of popular people in my grade have good qualities (smart, funny, athletic, skilled, fashionable, just to name a few). There is a reason why they are popular, you know. It's usually the unpopular ones that don't socialize, do bad at school, get teased, etc. In order to be popular, you have to make yourself popular. You can't just wait for the opportunity to come knock at your door.

A rock-paper-scissors online world championship... not sure how that would turn out but I don't think it will be fun for me. As for crazy dreams, I don't have any at the moment.

Or they can make multiple GE's. Like, another in Falador, Ardougne, the Wilderness, etc. Maybe even one underground or in a dungeon, or up the skies. :unsure:

Actually, it is still possible to not lag on the first day the event is released. Just go to an unpopulated world.

I used to like playing GOP. I still like to now, but the fact that the minigame is sometimes unresponsive now really ticks me off. Luckily not every single player is like that... if it was then GOP would be unplayable.

I was playing GOP today, and I noticed the number of spawns isn't right. (This was actually 6 spawns per team, but my image only captured 4 of the green orbs.)

People tank in the center, for the following reasons. 1) It's easier. 2) Rounds end quicker, which equals more tokens per hour. 3) Training magic. Those are pretty much the only reasons why I only center-tank now. The only change in FOG that I know of is that your opponent appears above other players.

In my opinion, F2P shouldn't be getting a new skill. Instead, they should be given one that existed from P2P. Fletching should be the one given. F2Pers should only be able to fletch bows up to maple and arrows up to adamant, and there should be a flax field in Falador. Though, I don't care if a new skill is given or not. I just hope it's a good one... (NOT sailing)

Are the holiday events really that over-complicated? For the Christmas event, I thought so too, until I learned to talk to my snow imp. <_< Though, Jagex should make ALL untradeable holiday items retrievable from Diango, regardless of whether or not they actually did the event. They did this with music and emotes, so why not items?

Grats on the levels, and 70 Firemaking shouldn't take too long. Buy maples/eucs/yews/magics (depending on cash), and firemake at the Grand Exchange on a quiet world. Also, seeing that it's your highest stat atm, you plan on getting 99 Runecrafting as your first 99? Well, me too! Glad we're on the same boat, and good luck! :thumbsup: But train summoning first. <_<

Thanks for your comments and advice! :D In fact, I have already done your suggested method for quite a while now, it's just that I want to earn some cash while fishing. That's why I did lobs. ;)

Added information regarding the teleport method when crafting earth runes. Also, I apologize for the delays with updating this guide. There has been a lot of irl stuff going on which prevents me from quickly finishing up the guide.

I don't really think they intended to make the person feel bad. You do realize when you mention you are XX level in blahblah skill, people tend to share their own levels with you as well? Also, people still do say grats when you get a level. I know this for sure, because right after I got 66 fishing some guy said "grats on the fishing lvl".

ALL 99's take a long time. Deal with it. That's why the skillcapes are honored.

Are you crazy? The ge should NOT be removed. It is an awesome trading convenience. You can do something else while you are waiting to have your items bought/sold. Without it, you'll just waste your time going "sell law rune 1k". Rares? Lol, why should you care about them? They are an utter waste of money. What should be removed though, is merchanting clans and manipulation clans. Both involve tons of advertisers (all of which who bot), and affect prices in mass.

Not really. It's just that most bots that I have seen try to do stupid things (which is why I doubt he botted that much exp). Just yesterday, while I was ranging, this guy was trying to attack minotaurs while BEHIND the Gate of War. At first I thought he was joking, but then he continued that action for several hours, and that's when I suspect he was a bot. Anyways, grats on 99 Ranged, bigbluntz. :D
