That's why you use the multi-quote feature on the page. Double posting just clutters the page, and takes up a post in it. Remember, each page can only hold 20 posts, and it sometimes can be a pain due to having to go to the next page. I miss the quote button back in the old forums though. That one was definitely easier to find and use.

Agreed totally with you, LordAdib. It's a free game, don't expect major updates all the time. You'll get the occasional one now and then, but don't think it's going to happen next week or something. There honestly needs to be a F2P thread, outside of the Top 250 F2P skill total list...

About the textures, I use nothing but the default one. I could have used textures that I actually liked, but when I found out that the game takes longer to load with different textures, I decided cosmetics is not the way to go. <_<

Well, you have to admit, the training spots there are AWESOME. No more people hogging your monsters in multiway combat, no more people that try to mine your rocks, and no more level 3 spammers in the Grand Exchange! :D

And now they have the update: the second Grandmaster quest, Nomad's Requiem. That ought to make up for the lack of updates recently.

Forget the wilderness hill, what was the importance of other things in the wilderness? Like the axe hut, the demonic ruins, the bandit camp, etc? <_<

Mauranius, what you think of RS and Jagex is just what YOU think. I still think it is a very fun game, and it does indeed deserve the best MMORPG title. :) It is all subjective. Also, like I said, if you remove yourself from the list, we won't have an accurate measure of the Top 250 F2P (or even the Runescape hiscores). So please, keep yourself on the list so the data isn't misleading. Will you do this for us? ;)

Grats on being the 12th to max F2P! It is, indeed, a big challenge, possibly the biggest in the game. :thumbsup:

Sorry Mauranius, I had no intentions of flaming you or anything. (Even though you DID insult Jagex...) The real reason that I still want you on the list is to see how many players actually maxed out in F2P. I don't want people to go thinking only 11 people maxed (assuming we're counting 5743). I want them to be able to know the precise number so they would have the accurate data. :) Of course, other maxed F2Pers will think the bright side to this.

First of all, I shall point out to the high level F2Pers. Second of all, if F2P has no real challenging stuff, then F2P will stereotype the P2P game as being "too easy". Therefore, less members. F2P is not a newbie game, it's simply for players that have no access to paying content. Which is pretty much the vast majority.

Sure, but in most cases it isn't really serious. Hell, I have yet to meet a single person who is like what you described. I'm pretty sure the OP is able to control his time on Runescape, and so is everyone else here. Most parents simply use it because they think video games are bad. I have something to say about those parents - stop living in the past, and stop abusing software.

Because without "Hard", there is no challenge. That's exactly what F2Pers need more of.

In fact, I'm gonna have to go ahead and say that parental controls should be banned. Why aren't there any protests or debates regarding this? The OP should either learn hacking skills or ask a master hacker to get rid of this crap. Or, you know, ask their parents to get rid of the software. As for the first story, that isn't luck, that was just you getting lost.

I agree that gays and lesbians should have the right to become a couple, but this makes marriage lose its purpose. Marriage is supposed to be one male and one female, so that the two can become a family. Unless you adopt kids, this is simply not possible with two of the same gender. Though, marriage has lost its original meaning now, with all this divorce, cheating on others, sex before marriage, etc. But the saying goes, "Change is nature." We'll just have to wait and see.

It's not that hard to avoid/lure or kill the hobogoblins, and you can eliminate the revenants by logging on a bh +1 world. I just wore a rune pickaxe, nothing else, and I did just fine. I've mined there for 2 hours and saw no pkers, at all. You were just unlucky. Maybe I should have said this is only effective if you're mid-high leveled...

What, you actually got pked in the Hobogoblin Mine? I mined there for 2 hours getting to 72 Mining, and I met no pkers. :mellow: In fact, I haven't met a single player on the most populated bh +1 world, during that time. You were unlucky, I guess. Also, wearing full rune is unnecessary. With a rune pickaxe, it's easy to kill the hobogoblins, and it's also easy to lure them away from your spot too. It doesn't even take that long to make them unaggressive. (~10 mins) You don't need food either. (Btw, I just noticed. If you get 99 Mining you also get 900 total. Nice coincidence. :o )

Very nice Fist of Guthix guide, luvandpower! :) My strategy is the same as Steven1250's, since it is fast and effective, and I have a decent prayer level. Center-tanking helped me win 50-ish games in a row. :D You might also want to add pictures to your guide. That way, you would know where to stand, what to take, etc.

What I like about girls are that they act more sensible than boys, but at the same time they're easier to mess around with. :lol: What I don't really understand is how they think. I thought boys and girls have mostly the same thoughts (since we're all human)?

Judging by the requirements, it doesn't really seem like a grandmaster quest. Judging by what you guys said though, it probably deserves that title. Also, they fixed the inventory glitching! Yay! :D
