Erm, if you're overloading 2 times in an 8 man, you're doin' it wrong. Lol. The team the Toad and myself join, it takes roughly 5 minutes per kill. If our ovls do run out during the kill, it's 3 seconds before she dies. I haven't been to any more than 6 man in about a month, so I'm not completely sure on times for more people on that :lol: But even then, I find 87.5k to be pretty low. Anyway, I posted this in pics thread, but I'm sure someone like SirIzenhime will flame it for w/e reason for it being there :roll: so here it is Sold for about 100m more than it's going for on forums, yay for unaware buyers on GE.

I find it hard to believe that an 8 man costs 87.5k/kill. You're looking at 2 ovl doses, brews, restores, bolts, anti/sanfew. Not to mention, tabs for trollheim, key charges...(I know these are minimal, but they add up over time).

Ooh, very nice. I'd suggest either Cooking Gauntlets or Penance Gloves for your gloves slot. I don't know how well they will match, but those are two things I always like for gloves slot of setups.

Ruby need's a spec to hit good, but diamond can hit better non spec while being more accurate. Also when diamond's spec does activate, you can easily hit 400+ sometimes even 450+, your also forgetting about the hp loss from rubies. Diamonds don't hit that much better non spec than ruby, it's only a +2 ranged strength difference. +105 Diamond to +103 Ruby, IIRC. You're also forgetting Diamond bolt specs can hit terribly low, whereas Ruby specs are nearly always guaranteed to hit 500. (-Zaros stage, where even then, Ruby spec sometimes bypasses the cap)

Nah, at least 95%. You and Final took a LOT of kills. I missed out on a lot from Diamonds, and depending on our 4th (Grimy/Soma), they lost a lot from tanking.

In all of our FFA's when I was using Diamond bolts, I got 1 kill. We all had the same gear. Yeah, rubies are trash right?

Never really have problems with freeing, except when the icicles don't break after 18 spam clicks, similar to cutting webs. Yeah okay Jagex, cool. But I was mainly referring to the "Contain This!" attack. At least when ranging, you have some distance between you and her. Whereas with melee, you're right next to her. And if your net sucks, you lag, server lag, anything at all...you're hit. There's no room for error at that point.

We claw first form, range until third form, 1 possibly 2 claw on third form, range until fifth form, and claw on fifth. Why would you even melee ice? That's just asking for taking more damage.... Even in Arma, claws hit 60-70% of the time, at least that's my experience. Everyone is forgetting that we're building our Nex setups off range, not melee. 99% of the kill is ranging, therefore the focus should be on max range bonus. Also, I think without ACP/Deflector, void isn't really worth the lost defence and extra switch. ACP adds a lot of accuracy to range attacks, whereas just void with spectral, I hit a lot less consistent.

This. EW3 was one of the most excruciating quests in the game. The only ones that come close are See No Evil and One Small Favour. Not to mention that the rewards COMPLETELY suck for the hours of irritation involved in EW quests. The hell was wrong with Do No Evil? I didn't think it was annoying in the slightest. I agree, I thought the creativity of it was well worth the time I put into completing the quest.

I'll add my input on the Armadyl vs other armor debate at Nex as well. Like Jett said, we've come to the conclusion that Void is definitely better for 4:1. As far as 5:2, 5:3, and 6:3, Armadyl is better than Karil's by a longshot because... 1. You shouldn't need to melee, unless you're designated reaver killer, like Soma is for our team. Range is better on the blood form, and the mages are weak to range anyway... 2. Armadyl gives better Range attack, mage defence, and prayer bonuses. All these bonuses are key, especially in small teams where you will be close on supplies. This is mostly directed at 5:3 kills, and a little bit 6:3... 3. Who doesn't want to go in looking like a bird? I mean come on now...but since I'm making a list, might as well add that... 4. If you die, you can go in next kill, and not have to tele to repair. Just bring same setup -gear+ava's, and loot all items from grave except pots. I'm sure I can think of a fifth, so... 5. Arma looks good with CCB, nuff said. K that's enough for my list.
