Hmmm...Quite a bit of food for thought. I agree, the update itself has really killed a lot of my motivation to play. Yeah, the update was good IMO...I loved Dh pking again, loved getting actual drops from killing people, loved giving my friends gifts. But for me, it was too much of a rush all at once. I got burnt out from it after 2 days. There really isn't much motivation left. One thing that kept me going the past few months, aside from my friends, was the promise of a divine for trade price. That motivation is GONE. Now "trade price" is "street price." And as previously mentioned, the amount of cash you can make staking/pking (mainly focusing on staking), is considerably more than MHing for a drop. I'm 4+ months, 1k+ kills, dry for claws at Tormented Demons right now. A friend of mine PKed 2 claws in one night, while another friend can win a set of claws on a game of luck staking. I'm happy for them, don't get me wrong, but the fact of the matter is....when people can get a set of claws from staking in ~60 seconds, that puts me off killing Tormented Demons for 4 months, without a set of claws. Maybe I'm just a little ticked that my luck MHing in this game sucks, but regardless, I die a little inside every time I get that PM: "Got another set of claws from _______" (Pking/Staking).

At first I was like "Yay, 530k....finally a decent elite..." But then it didn't sell for 50k in G.E., and I died a little inside... And then I staked it to some...er...less knowledgable players...and won 5m before I finally lost it lol. 500k worth of junk turned into 5m, yay?

Checking out W2 atm, and I see sell offers for Ely at around 550m :thumbup: Bought mine for 425m, do like 125m profit. Also got back my fury finally #-o Unfortunately, Tormented Demons are taking a [cabbage] on my self-esteem. I'm 1k+ Demons dry for claws, and today I got 4 Adamant Battleaxes in 5 kills.

Looks like partyhats rose the past day or so. Edit: i have a feeling it was just because it was the weekend after free trade. purple around 720mi to 730mill yellow around 830mil to 850mil green around 890mil red around 1bil to 1.1bil white around around 1.5bil blue last i saw was 1.8bil but that was a few days so it probably rose and someone is offering a white + 800mil so... Seeing multiple offers on forums for max cash for blue. I've yet to see anyone sell though.

My thoughts exactly lol. That also makes up for the red mask I was slightly disappointed in...i sold it for 80.5, and it jumped up a good 20m+ by the end of the day. So far so good though, just wish TD's would cooperate. Currently on about a 900 TD dry streak. Yay?

Yeah lol, but I knew Ely's were on the recovery. Honestly, I love it so far. I've gotten so many compliments on it, and it works decent aswell. Also, it's the best looking shield IMO. The blue color is just amazing, amirite?

Good news, ely is ~500m now, and seeing sellers have an A/W of about 530m. Bad news, I sold my red h'ween at 80.5m, and pretty much broke bank cause everything crashed so bad. Meh, I like it so far. I hate walking around with a glory though :unsure:

Alright, so I'm looking for opinions on possible trades to get a Green Partyhat on Free Trade. I currently have about 450m bank, after dumping 200m or so into skills. Most of it is nothing special, easily sell-able, but I do have cash tied up in a Red H'ween. Not really interested in anything other than a Green, but will take other trade ideas into consideration, such as other partyhats for upgrading/downgrading. Bought Red H'ween for about 160m in July, so I've only lost about half it's value -.-

Most people who invested in herblore knew that they wouldn't work on PvP worlds. They did not know there was any chance of the Wilderness coming back. In fact, Jagex explicitly stated multiple times on RSOF that the Wilderness was never coming back. Why was there any reason to believe that suddenly there would be a day where I could no longer slay Hellhounds in the Wilderness using Extremes? Or Greater Demons, or anything else out there? The Wilderness has been a PvM place for three years now, with no warning until a vague message in MMG's clan chat within the past couple months that the wilderness may become PvP again. Wow, Jagex went back on their words....I swear, that's never happened before! :notalk: [/sarcasm]

Umm...no? I'm sorry if I'm mistaken, but you seem like an edge pker who has very little experience pking, and think that a DDS is used purely to poison someone. NO. Any real pker knows that a Special weapon is just that, a SPECIAL weapon. You use it for kills, not because "Meh, i'll just throw this random spec out there while my opponent is full hp." Also, "duke it out"...? Are you kidding? 90% of the people pking don't stay in fights when they are out. That's why you need to use your specials at the right time, so your opponent can't run for fear of losing 500k. --------------------------------------------------------------- Back on topic... I retract my previous statement, about at minimum having certain worlds for extremes/overloads. I think that is actually the best approach for Jagex to take.

I can has exts/ovls pls? I'm not going to get caught up in an arguement, but I think high herblore pots should be allowed. At the very minimum, make them allowed on certain worlds, similar to the high risk worlds that were discussed, in which no items are kept on death.

So, I recently came back to RS after a bit of a break, about a month or so. Firstly, changed my name to "Accept Death," which I was surprised wasn't taken. Anyway.... Firstly, 99 Prayer. And 2300 total.... And spot more ignorance on Jagex's part... Riotdeath X & Binu killed back to back, I felt pretty cool... And finally... FIX THIS [CABBAGE]-ING GLITCH! I was one of the PKers on the top floor of the Warrior's Guild, where it's single. Funny thing is, I was using far superior gear today than what I normally do. Ahrim's, SoL, Mages' Book....to...Torso, Tassets, Korasi's, and Dragon Defender (for spec). This brings up the point of "you were using piety instead of turmoil, that's 7% less strength bonus," but I've been using Korasi's lately in PvP/BH, and it hasn't hit close to the 600's it used to, like on release day. A few other PKers I know have said the same thing, while others haven't noticed a difference. Maybe Jagex just hates me :cry:

Since we are on the topic of Korasi's Sword, has anyone else noticed lowered max hits? I went from hitting 550+ easily in PvP/Bh, to maxing at 480 today, once. Most other hits were around 300, and I had one hit as low as 130. Can anyone else give some input on this?

Really? I was using Draynor for 2 hours +, didn't see anybody lol. I farm on pvp. I used to tele to draynot toget to fally patch before I figured out the explorer ring. I died there more than any other place. THere are people who camp the spawn or as you walk by the bank theyll come out and harass you. Why do you farm on PvP? :-s

Oo, that's right. Well, wind strike will be good for getting it's attention. And i don't mind the way it looks, i mean, what exactly do we expect? The current defenders don't look at all very thrilling or interesting. So I'm glad it looks different. Although i guess the could have made it a bit more define. Like maybe make it a bit longer/more detailed. And i just realized something. If you seriously have to fight over one spawn in a single combat zone, and it has a rather rare drop rate... Couldn't someone just start trolling a world by going in full tank gear and attacking it with flowers? Yes. That's one of many problems with this if Jagex is stupid enough to make only one spawn in single-combat for it. The other issues are that because it apparently has a knock-back + stun attack, someone can steal your spawn... And of course with hundreds of people in the room on every world, getting that one spawn will be ragequit worthy. I really, really hope Jagex isn't that [bleep]ing dense. I will spam the [cabbage] out of their forums with my complaints if they do make only one or two spawns. I can think of one way around people stealing it from you after the stun... Just do enough damage as fast as possible, hopefully over 50%, before the stun attack comes. 1. Claws + spec restores 2. AGS + spec restores 3. CMaul possibly?

Actually, quite a few Barrows items have risen. What counter-acts the higher profitability (and could also be the cause of the rise in price) is the fact that there are more efficient money-makers out there nowadays.
