People need to stop basing this update on just the shields. The update as a whole this week was very good, in my eyes. Just because of the shield "update," doesn't make this week's update bad. Personally, this is one of my favorite updates of the YEAR, with the Corp update, and bank screen changes. Why don't people look at things like this before starting on the flame-wagon? I'm tired of "Omgz0rz they nerfed sheildz, terrible update, canceling my mems, gf jagex n00bs." just because people don't like one aspect of the week's update.

... I just happened to be killing TDs in W158 at the time. We DCed once, but both of us were safe-spotted. Figured it was a blip in our connection so we stayed. When we DCed the second time, she ran for the safe-spot and clicked her tab. For me, second death in the past 24 hours. Didn't have an Armadyl Chainskirt when she asked to go to TDs, so I borrowed hers instead of running to the GE to buy one... So I kept Bandos Tassets, Elysian Spirit Shield, and the borrowed Chainskirt. Lost my Amulet of Fury, Rangers set, full Armadyl, Berserker Ring, Abyssal Whip, etc. </rage> So many people were at SW that died at GWD and stuff. They were maaad! Lol. Ouch :sad: If you want a duo partner to make some of that back, don't hesitate to ask :^_^:

And why do cave crawlers drop effigies? I thought only high lvled npcs drop effigies? i got one from a pyrefiend. ^ I remember you telling me about that. Most impressive effigy i've gotten so far is only from a greater demon <_< Anyway, the cave crawlers in the vid are the level 138 cave crawlers.

Effigies are gud kay. I'm leveling RC without //////////wrists. :thumbup:

Tbh, thought this would've been solved with the edibles... Also, it's a half jug....not half bottle :wall: Didn't you hear? They're changing wine jugs to bottles. You also can drink them in two servings, making half jugs no longer discontinued. Why would you need a confirmation box? It's to warn you of the dangers of alcohol and how drinking irresponsibly can be dangerous to your health. +1 :thumbup:

Personally, I like this because everytime I'm in a large dungeon and I'm planting seeds for pot doors, the first item I go for is my CSB, because it looks like a seed <_< For those that don't know what I mean, a similar example is how Elf teleport crystals look similar to Crystal seeds.

Sorry, but I went 1 to nearly 89 DG without even seeing a hood drop. I know how Gremmy and Oro feel. 1-89 DG without a hood is not at all lucky. As you mentioned, they aren't rare or uncommon, we're just unlucky. That's why it's special for us. And to clarify, I wasn't trying to shoving it in either Gremmy's nor Oro's faces. I'm unlucky enough that this is picworthy, at least for me :unsure:

As far as dangerous pvp goes, I would agree with TheAncient. CCB and CStaff have terribly low alch rates. I'm not sure, but i'm guessing since mystic keeps over a SoL, mystic would also keep over CStaff. Just my speculation though. And I suppose in safe pvp, assuming you have RCB and SoL, CCB and CStaff aren't too much of an improvement, compared to the others. Once again, just my guess on TheAncient's rankings. Edit: Maybe they fixed mystic/SoL alch values, I'm not sure. But I do recall people whining on release that they kept mystic over SoL's.

85-88 DG in 2 days, 10 spiders and haven't seen a hood yet...Pretty much did a full set of F1-44, without a hood drop. Amidoinitwrong?

Yes, here is a picture of what I was doing a while back. Continuously click on max price button, and when update comes, the price will change on that screen, so you don't have to switch screens. After that, click confirm. Presto, offer in 1-2 seconds after update (if you're paying attention...this gets verrrrrrrrry boring after about 10 minutes). As I mentioned before, it's very tedious to click about every 3 seconds, for up to X amount of hours. This is where bots get the upper hand. Assuming they use this method, they don't "get bored." That's why snipebots take so many snipes. Anyway, since it's so time consuming and tedious to continuously click, that's why I generally only try and snipe when I notice that it's been a long time since an update. Irc bots like RuneScript and Vectra tell you how long it's been since the last update, and how much time remains before an update must occur. If the update must occur within 3 hours or so, it's worth it to sit at ge for a while and go for the snipe. The only downside of this method is that since the last update took so long, the next update will be very short. One snipe I attempted, the last update was 44 hours, and the next update was 6 hours later. A lot less volume is traded in 6 hours than in 44 hours, which lowered my snipe chances drastically. Note: I didn't get either of those kits in the pic. Camped for ~4 hours that day, and the update conveniently happened while I was using the bathroom. :wall:

Ok i understand. By refreshing i mean click the back arrow on the offer screen to go back to the main ge page. Have 2 offers in the ge, one have an offer for min for an item you know will rise. Next put an offer for max for the item you are trying to snipe Every time you "refresh" you are going back and forth between the two pages. Every time you do so look for an hourglass, as well as seeing if the max price went up. Hopefully the picture helps. The problem with this method is, once the ge updates, you will have to go through the process of putting in another offer completely. If you keep clicking the maximum price arrow, you can use the offer you already have, just hit confirm once you notice the update.

If you keep clicking on the max price arrow, it will change as soon as the Grand Exchange updates, assuming you constantly click on it. This is very tedious, and requires quite a bit of attention, since there is so much clicking, and the update is for the most part, unpredictable.

I was also thinking the same thing, as far as healing with soul split flashes goes.

I happened to stumble across a Celestial Surgebox today. After some discussion with Squisher (A_Final_Name), I bound it over my 125 Saggi arrows. I generally never have a problem making laws/cosmics/astrals at the beginning of a dungeon, so I felt this was the best move. Especially for those painfully slow prom/primal warriors....Any thoughts/opinions? Also...Bedman, do you use magic throughout the dungeon, or just in certain situations? I'll only use magic in certain situations (warriors), so I'm not sure if it will run out of casts or not.

Update: Just got another spider, without a hood drop of course. 0:5 today....
