Hmm. Maybe. Maybe that could redeem this update if it's true. Maybe.

It's not. Remember, most shields besides the spirit ones absorb, what, like 2% of damage done over 200 LP? However, those are some halfway decent defensive stats. Might be useful for tanking bandos at noob masses or something. As for the rest of the updates: Seems pretty dang useless to me. Might get the 10-teleport PP staff for switching to ancients or something.

No, Stork's just asked for advice on how to improve from pretty much every source imaginable. And the main thing that (almost) everyone says is "practice until your butt falls off, then glue it back on and practice some more."

So draw everything. Try different styles until you find one you like.

There is only 1 way to learn. And that is to draw, and to draw until you can draw no more. Then take a nap and DRAW SOME MORE.

I think I might try drawing, for the sole purpose of doing Gurren Lagann parody images for Drowtales and Puella Magi. I haven't visualized anything that well for a long time, and it's hilarious. :D DO EET I give up. Give up resisting the urge to draw, or give up drawing?

So I tried drawing again today. I can still do landscapes decently, as they're not too hard, but hell, my people-drawing skills have atrophied. Even if they're just cartoon characters, they still look like crap incarnate. OH well, guess I just need to get into the groove of practicing again. D:

As much as I want to believe Mod Mat K - that Jagex has a bunch of people devoted specifically to taking down RWT and bots - I can't believe it until I see some significant evidence of it working. I don't really care that I don't know how it works, I just care that so far, it hasn't worked well.

It's a problem because it goes against one of the founding principles of Runescape - that the items and value in the game will never, ever be allowed to be exchanged for real-life stuff or things from other games. And yes, Jagex should be making it so there are more and better ways to get your levels, but making it so you get an extra 10 percent for a week if they get an extra six dollars per month shouldn't be the way to do it. But, as many people have stated, it would seem that Jagex seems to no longer care about their founding standards or principles. Which is a shame, because it's what attracted quite a few players in the first place.

Level 100 Magic: You can now cast ATOMIC FART! And I'm sorry that everyone seems to dislike the preview of TzRek Jad. I think it's adorable, personally.

tv commercials cost money. [bleep]ing up one of the core principles of your game doesn't. Well, jagex dont need tv commercials with the new (*cough* and suckish *cough*) Refer a Friend, but its not [bleep]ing up one of the core principals, more people, more fun (atleast thats the idea *cough*) Actually, it sort of is screwing up one of the core principles - not of the game itself, but of the foundation they built it on. They said for at least half a decade that they would never put in in-game rewards for IRL cash. They said they weren't that desperate or greedy. So they gained more players who wanted a game like that - that didn't grab for cash, that chose to have some integrity rather than dump it for money, that even went so far as to remove some of the game's larger features to protect the idea that these devs had standards, and by golly, they were going to keep them. And now many of those players are gone along with those standards, never to be noticed because they're replaced tenfold with bots 'referring' each other. It's kind of sad.

Where were you?! If you must know, I was running about like a chicken with its head cut off trying to get parking permits, IDs, website logins, and various other nonsense like that.

Wow, what a cashgrab. I mean, I was kind of thinking with the Temple Trekking update that, maybe, just maybe, they actually cared more about their integrity and their game rather than the revenues from it. I am saddened to find out that I was horribly, horribly wrong.
