So, I think this update was pretty nice, and it was good to see an old minigame that I enjoy revamped. The graphics are decent, and the new reward system is good for those who want something specific out of their trekking. That said, I'm not entirely partial to the leveling-of-the-escortees aspect of it. I'm not entirely sure why, but I just don't like that part. Also, I miss the old graphical glitch with snakes where sometimes, you could kill them and instead of making a corpse, the sprite would flip out, go rigid, and then occasionally float off the screen. Oh well.

Ouch. That... just.... ouch. Any of them advanced classes?

...... Whelp. I'm definitely still scared of spiders. And wasps.

So are you going to give us a sample character sheet to work off of, or do we build our own?

First: I originally made this thread as a way to get feedback on my drawings without having to go to the Gallery. This was mostly because I was afraid of the people in the gallery telling me to gtho because my drawings were crappy. However, it has been agreed upon by both myself and the other moderators that I shouldn't have been so afraid of the Gallery and should have made a thread there for non-Tavern drawings. As a result, this thread is going to be for Tavern art only from now on so that it may stay in the Tavern. And, as the third reiteration of this, if you think someone is getting away with crap that they shouldn't, report it. I can take action against posts, but only if I see them and recognize them as rule breaking. And, since I'm only human, I'm not going to catch everything.

Just because only one person was discontent doesn't mean it wasn't off. I discussed this topic with the other moderators, and we thought that it would be best if this topic were relegated solely to Tavern artwork. If you have a problem with this, then you may discuss it with the admins or moderators through the official channels. Edit because Icu is a ninja: I realize that I haven't been strict enough with Res. Please try to understand that I'm still new(ish) to moderating, and that flaming is one of the rules I have trouble telling when it is being broken or not. If you think he is flaming or trolling, the best thing to do would be to report it so that I can take a closer look at it. As for the decision, it's been made. Res wanting things changed was what brought this topic to my attention again (I thought it had died <_<), but it was not a factor in the decision.

Okay. Due to some recent developments, this thread is now to be for Tavern-related art only. All other stuff goes in the Gallery. That means that drawings of your Tavern game characters, landscapes, ships, etc. are okay. But Homestuck fanart, or just random art not related to much of anything, is no longer to be posted here. Post that stuff over in the Gallery.

From what I can tell, no, he isn't. He's discussing a change with arguments regarding what he thinks should be done in the Tavern. From what I can see, he's not currently 'demanding' anything. But he didn't join to rant, he joined to play. And seeing as there's not that much to play at the moment, he has every right to ask that we start up a game. I'm thinking about starting up another thread separate from this one solely for game ideas so that they don't get lost in the discussion of random nonsense. Thoughts?

.....Wow. I woke up at this ungodly hour because my moderator senses were going off. Had I not taken a shower, I would've logged on in the middle of Res and Mather arguing. Now for slightly preventative measures. First things first: Res, if you do not like how something in the Tavern is set up, then discuss it with an admin or supermod if you actually want it to change. Right now, posting about how the back room should be in OT and a few other topics should be elsewhere is, frankly, not helping anyone. Next: Mather, Res has as much a right to want to change things in here as you or I do. Being new does not make your opinion invalid. Now that that's done, Icu's idea for another new Dungeoneering looks very nice, and I look forward to playing once you guys get all the rule kinks worked out.

I honestly wish I could play more, I'm just usually without access to a computer that can run IRC for most of the day. And since I'm in MST, that means I miss most of the sessions unless they occur at times so late that it's unhealthy for the people over in Europe. However, that might change because of circumstances, so.....

I believe he means that unless he was firing a 50 cal. sniper rifle he isn't going to be pushed back that much. ....I think you might be wrong. I mean, I've shot a shotgun, and that nearly knocked me on my butt. Not sure what a Mosin-Nagant is, but I'm pretty sure that firing most anything besides a .22 without being prepared for the kick is going to knock you over a bit.

So I herd u liek Karkat. I, personally, don't really know what my zodiac sign is, as my birthday is directly between two of them, and thus shows as one in some places, and the other everywhere else.

Never bothered to get a diagnosis, so I don't know. What would be the problem if I was? Do we look at people with Asperger's like horrible abomination children of the Devil nowadays? Did I miss a memo?

I've been listening to the same 50-odd-track of fanmusic from Homestuck for the past few... weeks, I think. That, and the classical radio station while trying to fall asleep.

I, personally, want them to stay away from the gnomes. I mean, it's bad enough as it is what with them looking like the Keebler elves.

And then they go to war against you for doing something they disagree with and then refusing to change it, as you don't care what they think. The war escalates to the point where either you come to a treaty, a.k.a. having to care about what they think, or until one or both of you are nuked into oblivion, which is usually bad.

Yes, but then again, if you take the past few weeks as an indicator for the rest of the time, then political violence causes drastically more mass murders than any other reason, including religious or depression-induced ones.
