If I knew that I, no questions asked, no ways out, was going to die tomorrow, I would spend whatever time I have left practicing with a machete. Then, 5 minutes before I die, I'd go to a farm, buy a pig at a stupidly extravagant price, and machete its head off. Of course, I'd say goodbye to all my friends and the Internet and my family and stuff too... but the pig would be a pretty damn important part of my day. Oh, and as for the actual question: Hell no, I'm hideous.

Tuesday is going to either be amazing or a failure of epic proportions.. Either way, it should be interesting, and I can't wait.

Just for the record, if someone tried grabbing hold of my head and crushing my neck with their knee, it would both a. be highly improbable to work because I'm not that short, and b. I'd probably hit them back before their knee got anywhere near my neck. The main reason I don't get into any fights is because I fight dirty - i.e. aim right for the family jewels. Which, if I were kicking, would also conveniently misdirect the knee aimed at my neck. So while you are correct in thinking that the neck is a huge damn liability, your methods for exploiting that liability are flawed in almost any situation where your opponent is going to resist. You'd be better off trying to punch them in the neck, really.

Read update: see Wicked Hood. Think: "Oh, finally something that makes Runecrafting suck less, let's see what it do-" 2 altar teleports per day, and a few free runes/ess. 2 teleports. ... So much for thinking it'd be helpful. I mean, that's what, an extra 2kish xp that's a little bit easier than normal ZMI runs? Also. [sarcasm]Because making them impossible to melee and adding in a ranged attack has NO EFFECT WHATSOEVER on legit users who would be killing them.[/sarcasm]

When I get to vote, I'm going to be voting for a small, independent party who agrees with more of my views than the big-ticket Republican/Democrat guys will. He'll never win, but at least I'll be able to say I voted for someone I agree with on most of the issues.

05-Oct-2011 - Your Chance to Get an Idea In-game!
Frick yes. Use it as an additive to other healing stuff we have now to give more healing in exchange for Constitution dropping or something. Saradomin Brew with Bacon and Pickles :D On a more... serious note, there are quite a few really good suggestions in this topic thus far - although many of them probably fit Jagex's definition of 'elite' content as opposed to 'high level' content. And Runecrafting really does need something to make training it normally better than effigies - both efficiency and entertainment-wise. Then again, they list charm sprites as a good example, and that's pretty much dead content, so I wouldn't get my hopes up...

He's actually working on that. The gifs and flashes are going to represented by series of pictures, though, so the internet version will probably still be better.

This is me, right here. When I get bored, I tend to try to go find something to eat, but lately I've been going "Hmm, let's get a sna- NO. You get yourself a glass of water and sit back down and work on calculus, young man."

SIG FIGS ARE THE BIGGEST PIECE OF [cabbage] EVER. HAI GAISE, WE HAVE 2 LOGS THAT ARE 1.22 AND 3 FEET LONG. I GUESS THEYRE ONLY 4 FEET LONG TOGETHER THEN. Sig figs are good when you're dealing with really small or really huge amounts of stuff, or lots of calculations and you need a factor of precision... But yeah, for small stuff like basic adding sigfigs are bullcrap.

How do you figure? 168 hours in a week, game is played for 4 hours every week. At first, I thought you meant over the Tavern history as a whole averaged out, and my brain went 'wait what lolno.' However, your calculation is still quite flawed in that most people don't spend all 168 hours of their week in the Tavern. We have to sleep, go to school/jobs, take care of chores, etc. So I don't think it's really plausible to figure out how much time spent in the Tavern is spent on games and how much is Backroom/Billboard/other such stuff.

How do you figure?

I don't think so. I'm in calc-based physics II right now, and half the stuff we're going over is thermodynamics with frequent use of the gas constant and number of moles involved. So while moles is used heavily in chemistry, it also applies well in certain types of physics.
-
The Back Room
Err what no. From my understanding of sigfigs, molar calculations would be done to however many decimal places are in the measurement of the chemical.

Observe them for about a week, then begin colonization. Start with Halo, then Who, then we can all slowly encroach on their territory. Then Wits can show up and all hell will break loose.

Caps LOCK! Anywho, explain further. I don't know what this One Shot idea is mostly. If it's a page back, I must have missed it. *goes back a page or two to check* Rather than putting a burden on one tavern member to create a campaign, they would create probably a session's worth of action with possibly premade characters. Each GM would run one or three different one shot adventures with a specific system. Then, before they got burnt out they would switch out of the GM chair for another tavernite and the cycle would repeat itself. The system could change with GMs or be kept the same, whatever the current gm's preference is. EDIT: Retech, most all are available online. Hell, you probably wouldn't even need to make maps, just spreasheets using google docs to act as the battle map. Sounds interesting. Are you planning to be the first GM? Unless anyone else wants to, yes. If there's a positive response I'll decide on a system (I might just run a pathfinder one shot at first to be honest, either that or FATE/ Dark heresy). Well then it looks like I'm going to have to learn the Pathfinder system, then. TO THE WIKI!
