Yeah, now it's kill a boar, get boar tusks, chuck them in a special "study" inventory for 24 hours, then get like 10k LP. There's more stuff that can go into that inventory, of course, but not getting the side reward of LP from doing useful stuff sort of turned HnH into a very boring game for me, especially having to wait for those things to mature. Oh, and the capacity of that special inventory? Yeah, it's based on your INT. INT is no longer a useless stat. Instead, it's the stat you have to get up ASAP if you want to be gaining LP within reasonable amounts of time. <_<

The new LP system sort of killed it for me. But I guess I could start playing again if you guys were wiling to join in on the hijinks :P

DF isn't "hard," persay. It's just that learning the interface is the gaming equivalent of dragging your balls through a lava pit.

Different games for everybody, I understand. But in my mind, since I rather enjoy watching fictional goblins get their left ear lopped off by a magnificently forged steel disk trap, DF is way ahead of Minecraft. It helps if you start with a tileset. Oh, and Dwarf Therapist. I have no idea how I played DF before I used Dwarf Therapist.

Actually, Minecraft is kinda cool in its own way. The only things I think it has going for it over DF are the multiplayer and the interface, though.

Suggestion: Get a life and stop playing Minecraft.

The main reason I haven't shown up for too many sessions is that you guys haven't created any major trouble for me to help fix, and the few situations I DO get mixed up in end up being "everyone's blowing [cabbage] up in the medbay, run for your lives!" which results in a dozen actions of "DERP HEAL RANDOM PEOPLE". The other reason I don't show up for session is IRL, and that can't be helped.

I'm done with Homestuck so far, read maybe one or two hundred pages of Problem Sleuth before realizing it wasn't getting better and finished the two very short others. Yeah, Problem Sleuth very quickly devolved into bat-[cabbage]-insane-land. Still managed to make it through, but I didn't understand any of it. Homestuck, on the other hand, I've read thrice, and I'm still getting cases of Fridge Genius from it. Like the acronym for Nepeta's planet.

Ok, that did not take as long as expected. And I've got to hand it to it, it's pretty [bleep]ed up, a few hundred pages ago I think I even managed to reach a checkpoint in my my-mind-is-full-of-[bleep]-ness. And by reaching a checkpoint I mean my head feels like a coconut. ONE OF US ONE OF US ONE OF U *COUGHCOUGHCOUGH* well, excuse me, I have no idea where THAT came from. How far have you gotten?

So I took a short hiatus when summer vacation started to be in what amounted to a constant vegetative state. This has not helped my drawing abilities AT ALL. Also, I'm trying to convert to just using my tablet to not have to use a metric asston of printer paper. So things are going to look a little bit worse than before for the time being, especially since the only new character picture I've managed to finish is a ghost who lost his legs in a violent and bloody manner... [spoiler=Weston]
