The Back Room
I don't play Hegemony, because I end up trying to micromanage EVERYTHING. Literally, EVERYTHING. I'll have excel documents for changes in GDP and everything. It gets disgusting. Oh, and micromanaging like that eats all my time. ALL OF IT.

Roll to Dodge: The Tavern
Not a "these," an "it." And it's not a zombie, it's a mini-Cthulhu. I have a thing for putting Lovecraftian horrors into the starting chapters of game I GM. I have no idea why.

Roll to Dodge: The Tavern
You [6] ride the collapsing fire escape onto the zombies. Gore and flesh flies everywhere as you glide downward on the Rusty Destruction Express, and manage to jump onto a different section of the fire escape right as the old one plummets to its doom. The previously mentioned ammo box lands in your hand. You're now on a fire escape on the 27th floor, and the zombies of Floor 27 are stuck behind an illegally, but thankfully, locked fire escape door. You look down, and see that the majority of the rest of the fire escape collapsed in the crash or has just rusted away with time. You [5] load your crossbow cartridge with 10 makeshift bolts and point it at the shaft, and [4-1] fire blindly at the unspeakable horror that emerges, missing it. There are 7 shots left in your cartridge. (Eh, okay. But I don't want to see any more players magicking up random small objects that could have normally been on their person. Except pants. Those and shirts are automatically assumed. If anyone attempts to take this as an excuse to become a pants wizard, I may or may not facilitate that due to hilarity.) You grab your crowbar and walk over to the elevator shaft just in time for an unspeakable horror to emerge from within. You [5] give it a good thwack with the crowbar, and it screeches. You [1] move away from Nex towards the elevator shaft and become quiet... right before the unspeakable horror bursts through and sends you flying into a wall. You move towards the elevator shaft and [4+1] falcon-punch the horror in tandem with everybody else's attacks. It screeches. (My bad, but it'd be a close enough result that I'm not going to bother changing it)You [1] attempt to pry open the elevator shaft, but slip and hit yourself in the head instead. You [2+1] cast the fart spell on a zombie, and it flatulence-rockets into the barricaded door, pancaking itself as it does so. You [1] point your gun towards the elevator shaft, and the one 2 shafts over opens up. An unspeakable horror comes through and chucks you into a wall. You [6] find a vending machine that Icu missed, kick it in just the right spot, and a small avalanche of grape sodas pour forth! You collect them in a frenzy and stow them in a filing box. You [6] weave the cables into a rope. It is a GLORIOUS rope. GLORIOUS! Everyone except Mather: There's a small Eldritch abomination pouring out of one of the elevator shafts. I didn't exactly approve Archi's character, now did I? And besides, a +6 bonus would be incredibly overpowered.

Roll to Dodge: The Tavern
You [3+1] decipher one of the spells as.... [2] a fart spell? What? You [1] try to slap Nex, but end up stumbling before he grabs you and starts using you as a human shield. You and Mather assist Grim in [(4+4+4+1)/3] getting out of the hole in the fire escape. The fire escape begins to collapse, and [5] you jump to the relative safety of the building. You throw a dead computer at an airvent, [4] hitting the zombie skulking inside it in the head and crushing its skull. You are [(4+4+4+1)/3] assisted in your climb by Earth and Mather, reenter the building, and [4] find some old cables that could be used as a weak rope. You yell at nobody in particular, and nobody in particular seems to take notice. You [3] deliver a minor speech while approaching the door to the stairs and loading your gun. Most everybody ignores you while doing their own thing. You [2] use her as a very ineffective and unwilling human shield against the zombies which are still behind the barricaded door. You [4] throw some pointies over her shoulder, and nail a zombie in the eye through the window in the door. You plug in your headphones and ignore the world, despite not informing the GM that you had a music player in the first place. You check on the battery life as you're listening, [1] right as you get the Generic Musicplayer equivalent of the BSOD. You assist Earth in [(4+4+4+1)/3] getting Grim out of the hole in the fire escape. You shoot at a zombie, and [1] the bullet misfires, ricochets off of structures scattered about the fire escape, and ends up knocking out a vital structural bolt to said fire escape, which begins to collapse under you. You collect a small pile (20) of makeshift bolts (-1 to crossbow when used as ammo). You check to see how many normal bolts you have, and find [2+4+4] 10 bolts in a pouch on your belt. Everyone: You hear some loud cranking noises coming from the elevators. This probably isn't good.... I do turns. You post an action, then after I post the results of that actions along with everybody else's, you can post your next action. And Res, no, you don't get an automatic +6 while using your gun.

Roll to Dodge: The Tavern
You [6] manage to find a laptop that still has a full battery life! In your ecstasy at finding this, you accidentally smash open a few windows. You try to surf the interwebs, but [2] it would appear that the servers are down. All of them. You [1] can't find anything that works by flammable gas, and trip on some debris instead. You land face-first on a pile of staplers. [6] You remain uninjured except for a few bruises, but the fall caused a stapler to fly out of the pile and lodge itself firmly in a zombie's face. You [1] try to read your book upside-down and give yourself a few dozen papercuts in the process. You [4] gather a pile of glass bits, pens, and other sharp objects. You see a zombie through a window in the door, and [6+1] throw some glass shards at it. They ricochet everywhere, and you can hear the death screams of many, many zombies behind the door. You attempt to walk outside, and [4] walk into a window. You're on the 32nd floor, just walking outside is not advised right now. You watch everyone else do random stuff, and manage to [5] dodge some ricocheting glass shards from Nex's throwing. You [2] manage to smash open a vending machine, but it's empty. In fact, they all are. You hoard the broken vending machine bits in a cardboard filing box anyways. You [4+1] find some scrawlings on a napkin with what you think might be spells written on them. You [3] notice that there are exits everywhere, but most of them are stopped up by zombies or a lack of electricity. You [1] walk onto a fire escape, and the rusty structure collapses beneath you, leaving you barely hanging on to a rusty handrail 32 stories in the air. Thankfully, [6] the noise attracts no zombies. You can [3] see some ammo boxes on the fire escape a few floors down, but there's zombies down there.[hide=Statuses] [hide=Icu] Name: Iku Owage (Iku for short) Perks: Zombie Survivalist Expert | Lag Weapon: Automatic Crossbow. Roll to Dodge: The Tavern
Okay, I added one last rule that I forgot to the OP - if you haven't posted an action for over 36 hours, the GM does your action for you. This is so we don't end up waiting a week for someone just to get a turn in. Right now, we're only waiting on Res....
-
Roll to Dodge: The Tavern
I need a probability for the lag spasm. Otherwise, looks good.

Roll to Dodge: The Tavern
What he said. It's basically, once everyone's posted their actions, the GM rolls up one big turn, then waits for everyone to post their next actions. This way, there's no added advantage or disadvantage based on whether or not you can speedpost. Oh, and Mather, you're A. not the only one with a gun (Res's hangun pistol thing) and B. not at a huge advantage due to the d6 hit system. Archi, the benefits and such are supposed to be attached to your character, not your weapon. Also, the automatic +6 to casting Solar Strike when the sun's out would be definitely gamebreaking, considering that a 6 is the roll where you win so hard that things start breaking. Iey, looks good. In case you guys haven't seen it before, the d6 system is basically: 1 - You fail epically. 2 - You fail normally. 3 - You sort of succeed. 4 - You succeed. 5 - You succeed, with a few extras. 6 - You win so hard that things start to break. And I'm still waiting on action posts from: Iey, Lynx, Res, and Retech.

Last one to post wins
So.... what shenanigans do we have here?
-
Roll to Dodge: The Tavern
Alright. You're all holed up in an office building and have managed to keep the zombie horde below you. You're currently all on the 32nd floor, with no noticeable means of escape. The doors to any stairways are all barricaded and being beaten on by zombies, and the elevators are all shut off due to the power going out. It's still day, so you can see what you're doing, but the sun looms low on the horizon... Post your actions.

Roll to Dodge: The Tavern
Okay, everything looks fine so far. Copying bios and such to the OP and a Notepad file....
-
Roll to Dodge: The Tavern
Time period is modern, magic exists in elemental forms (just because), and I do not intend for it to be easy... Mather, your positive perk (i.e. the one that gives a + bonus to certain rules) can only be +1. Keeps things balanced, for now.

Roll to Dodge: The Tavern
It was based off of RTD, yes. But they are not one and the same, from what I've seen - in Dungeoneering, a d20 was used, and the GM(s) kept the actual numeric result of the roll and whether or not player equipment had bonuses to themselves. In RTD, from what I've seen, the GM shows rolls and equipment bonuses. Not to mention the large difference in how they're run... Lynx, you don't need a dice. The GM does the rolling.
