  1. Well, since you said you use full veracs I instantly thought of the Kalphite Queen (KQ) which basically meets all the criteria you and your friend are looking for (multi-combat, easy to team in groups of 2, and considering all the new monsters to hunt like in GWD its "old school" and not hugely crowded....although I may be wrong on this, haven't been a mem for a lil while). An excellent guide for killing the KQ is here: http://www.tip.it/runescape/?page=kalphite_queen.htm And for other monster hunting ideas try here: http://www.tip.it/runescape/?page=monster_hunting.htm And you can always find other advice in the Archive of Wisdom (Yes I love tip.it and their great guides ) Like you've already realized your stats are kinda low for monster hunting (or at least efficient monster hunting) so places to train...well like I've said haven't been a mem' for a while and I suggest checking other peoples guides (plenty of advice there). Green Dragons come to mind (decent profit too), yaks, and I remember this little spot near the Gnome Stronghold with hill giants that is empty (kinda far from a bank, but with decent def and summoning/good food you can last quite a while and can get some prayer xp too, big bones ftw! )
  2. I was wondering how you had a lower total level then me, yet all your skills seemed to be higher....and then I saw that you're a lvl 3 skiller :D Very impressive though, I've personally had a horrible time leveling crafting on f2p, so major congrats there from me. Good luck and maybe we'll pass each other at Al Kharid if I get a new batch of steel materials
  3. Umm, don't have exceptional skills? You're all 60+ (66+ I believe actually) hell of a lot better then mine : Good luck with all your goals!! Just out of curiosity what's your favorite mini-game so far? PS. Do you consider barrows a mini-game? 'cause then you'd have to get all the sets no?
  4. Okay, so I've been reading lost of posts and such about the 26k trick, and since I never set foot on a PvP world (my stats are horrible for pking) the basic idea behind 26k'ing is that you stand around for 2 hours, hook up with somebody to have an arranged killing and then hoping to get a good drop? Sorry if that question seems noobish  but I just can't imagine anyone doing that...
  5. Well I'm f2p too and have about 4 mil. Someone said earlier thats its easier to make cash if you got it and thats right on but heres what I do Smithing: Depends on the market but at times I've found that I can buy iron and coal (x2) and smelt the steels bars to make profit ~ 160 gp more per steel bar over the supplies. This is how I made the bulk of my cash and it certaintly grows with the more supplies you buy (I went from 500k to 1mil, 1 mil to 2, 2 to 4) on the down side it is very slow (can only smelt 9 steel bars at a time :wall: ) but its certaintly possible. Killing Cockroach Soldiers: Requires some stats and not the most effective money maker but I always make a profit 'cause I use kebabs (1 gp ea) so my costs are always covered. Not sure if this is the greatest though... Limpwurt roots: This, I found out recently, is fantastic. They sell for, currently, 1261 gp ea, EA. I personally kill hobgoblins (and again easy profits 'cause of kebabs) but they also spawn near the hill giants too if fighting isn't your thing (be careful hill giants are agressive). Sometimes they can be a tad slow to sell in the GE, which I mean they don't sell instantly, but easily one of my new favorites of making cash. Hope it doesn't catch on (or that I stay ignorant as to how bad a money maker this is if it is, lol)
  6. The first thing I did when I got members was to log out. I was scared by all the peoples cats  but on topic I did explore I suppose. Someone talked about their trip over white wolf mountain and I had a similar experience, but over time places just kinda found themselves and there wasn't too much to explore.
  7. The one username I remember for some reason was Lord_of_Ears. I have no idea why, and I don't know him, I just saw that username while running around. Thought it was cool :
  8. XP lamp seems to dominate. I generally choose it just 'cause I get them while training and am away from a bank, so they're just more xp!
  9. I really like this guide, mainly because I've been looking for a monster to slay for some cash with my stats once I get members back and never realized green drags could be what I was looking for. Looking forward to a range/mage section too. Oh, and I agree with this --> *Question, I haven't been a member for over a year, so is there a quest or lvl requirement for the Chaos Tunnels?
  10. Hey, I have a quick question although I know that this isn't the most active thread - how do I put my animated gif onto tip.it? I think I've done everything right because it works and it moves and such, but I just can't figure out how to get it on here. PS. It might be a width or pixel error type deal, but I don't think so, I really just have no idea how to put it up.
