Level 3 skillers
I've never died to a Rev while mining rune ore  Infact I can run away and world hop and still be generally close to the rune rocks still. I've never died to pkers while rune mining either. Since when was 70 mining hard  It may be harder as a skiller but I don't think it gives them a right to have attitude problems that oh i'm better than you etc. Which most of the idiotic new skillers do imo. Nor does it give me or other high leveled people to be an [wagon] to lower levels. It's not more surprising to see low lvls with 99 skills or high skills [ unless it's a cmb related skill such as slayer ] compared to a high lvl. Same with money I think speed of producing money is just how bad you want to make cash. Also take into consideration skillers won't need armor food weps pots etc so that saves money and can add up. So we can come to an agreement here...Skillers deserve some respect but not so much to worship them and be like OMGZ0RS UR S0 KEWL. And skillers shouldn't be all cocky saying i'm better than you when they really can't back it up. then i'd respect them even more if they aren't being all cocky.

Magic
I was going to say superheat as well but after awhile you may feel like it's alching. You could always train mage through combat or slayer dart. I heard dagnoth kings are fun to slayer dart and you gain money with good drops but it's kinda confusing to teach u how so read a guide

f2p need adjusting!
There is a chart that has been posted around that shows 7% of their revenues are from ads. And the only thing I can think of that F2P NEEDS is a combat triangle update to bring mage up to where it should be. I'd love to see this chart pm me a link or something if you run across it :]. And I agree but I think range is also a little underpowered but meh i'm a range lover so oh well. Mage definatly needs some updates. They've added some more robes with fog and gop but still the defenses on the robes aren't great nor does the max hit change :\

TBZ is w141 based and I'm sure a good handful of members in DF are in TBZ. I really don't see a point to allies unless you pvp but meh that's just me.

Level 3 skillers
Jenny! :-P I have to half-agree with that statemenent. Merchanting DONE RIGHT generates more wealth per time than combat or skilling. Merchanting (as well as combat), when done poorly, generates minimal, if not negative, revenue. As for skilling being in the basement of the profit hierarchy, no arguments there. Double nats aside, skilling is not particularly profitable at all. Okay if you throw away double nats we still have mining - rune ore mining is really good money  . And if you dare throw away that then I geuss we'd have to throw aside GW and some other monster killing. But yea as gen put it Merchanting > Combat > Skilling. Just because skilling is last doesn't mean it cannot produce profit.

Level 3 skillers
The bolded phrase was my point \ I've been our rune mining and some low lvls still do it. I've never done it on a lower combat account myself so I couldn't tell you how hard it would be. But I can tell you when i'm out there mining rune rarely do I run into more lower lvl'd revs always those damn orks and revknights  Merchanting is a lil luck and a lil skill. But as I stated earlier if we can agree the 3 main ways of making money are: [*:27iy8vct]Monster Killing[*:27iy8vct]Merchanting[*:27iy8vct]Skilling Then you still have 2/3 of the choices to make money. Obviously merchanting is the best since you can still skill or monster kill while merchanting. I disagree - mining is a great skill but how would you know until you actually try it. There are still mithril ores and adamant ores that you can mine which is fairly decent cash. Whilst i said crafting was minimal the person I'm friends with ended up making a good amount of cash. The thing that separates the two, skillers and more combat related people, is consistency. Skillers have more of a steady income and are willing to take a little longer to make cash. So I geuss you can say respect to lower leves for having patience/hardwork to obtain a santa or w/e. But you can't say nice santa or w/e to a higher level because obviously higher levels can make cash so much easier and it's expected of them to be rich?

13 times your cash pile is not realistic in a "short amount of time" it just isnt. Items rarely if ever rise over double there price in less than a month, so if your basically a "perfect" merchanter you can double your money every month. In other words, it would take 3-4 months to merchant perfectly from 1 to 13 million cash. Thats not easy, i honestly don't think you or anyone else can double your money once a month consistently with the exception of being a leader/high ranking member of a merchanting clan. Also, list all the best money making methods from skilling, anything but Rune mining and 91 RC, list some good ones that require reasonable levels and i will agree that skillers can make money as easily as people with combat. Worst excuse ever. 0-1 million can't take all that long if its so easy to make money skilling. And merchanting will only take like 5 minutes a day. I find it a reasonable excuse thanks :] Why skill on other accounts when I have too many accounts already that could be used to make money or skill. As for gaining 1m-13m by wcing isn't that hard :] + theres few lucky merches you can get WITHOUT MERCHING CLANS. Like honnestly read a graph or two and a 'merching clan' will probably pick it up if not the item will get to equilibrium eventually since there is a surplus of the particular item selling for cheap / min prices. Why take away skilling like mining? Such an idiot thing to say. Okay you get rid of some skills and I'll get rid of some monsters? Sounds fair? I'm not saying OMG SKILLERS ARE TEH BEST WAY TO GAIN MONEY. I'm saying it's really not that much different. You can still maintain good cash flow as a low lvl. Since you obviously don't need to waste cash on armor food etc - Generally speak a skiller would invest it back into stats anyways. -Crafting, used to make money haven't crafted in ages was minimal but friend made money all the way to 99 it added up + a nice cape -Mining, iron, addamant, mithril , and runite which you say doesn't count? -Woodcutting, yews, mages -Fishing, lobsters, swordfish+ tuna if you do it in fishing guild, sharks, monks -Smithing, buy say addy ores and super heat while mining in guild. -Farming, herbs -Rcing, airs are fairly decent cash, nats etc -fletching junk Ever heard of top pure f2pers? how do you think they afforded 99 prayer? Monster killing cockroaches? Obviously theres money in skilling and merchanting. Neither of which require combat really. Think about it..Can we agree that the 3 common ways of making cash is monster killing, skilling, and merchanting? 2/3 options isn't that bad. Yes monster killing can obtain good cash but my original point was that it shouldn't be surprising to see a low lvl with good items/cash. BTW Don't be a hypocryt about grammar and come back to me saying oh I never said my grammar was good. As for making it easier to read..why waste your time reading my posts then? Also you're writing around a 12th grade lvl [estimant ] I'm probably a lot worse like 8-10ish. Geuss what grade level newspapers use? 10th grade so why don't you dim down your posts to the average reading lvl? No that's stupid.. write how you want and I'll write how i want. If you want to debate then fine debate but attacking my grammar is a pathetic attempt which is irrelevant to this lil debate. But since you obviously strugle to read my posts just stop replying to them.

Clan Chronicle issue #10 - BK, Jmod, Villandra, RSC wars ++
Great long article. Enjoyed reading every bit of it. Was amazing what that one girl did with slayer  BK has an interesting history which made it a good read. NH is always a good read since it's so controversial. TK dying wasn't as interesting just because idk lol just read it in the forums enough info was in there i geuss  TPR lulz found it funny how we got an article about us. I honnestly think we should keep it going but have to make peps more active. It really was a fun time even when we lost still enjoyed it. Never really having a true fi leader was fun struggling to get some teamwork going on vent and peps stepping it up time to time made it interesting and a fun ride. Some of the Jmods answers were dissappointing but some were cool overall good questions to ask  10/10 Great job on the articles

f2p need adjusting!
Okay so i understand your point and I agree with you somewhat. But the way you asked him where he lived seemed rude. Wether it's harder or not for him to make money I don't find it necessary to just ask him based on where he lives. He could live in a decent country and still face tough times and perhaps comes onto rs since his rents can't buy him anything better than a computer. Or maybe he's playing at a library or something. Like i said earlier I think the rants more about f2p needs adjusting not omg p2p is too expensive! 1.You may be able to handle it..but we don't know for sure if he can. Nor should we ask him all his personal details about why not. 2. You're completly right..But doesn't mean younger people can have some decent ideas/suggestions. 3. Sadly yeah but others still have advantages in the economy compared to the OP [ Higher educations/Previous work experience ] If he can't get members then why put him down for it :\ I know his rant isn't the best and nor are my responses but I think f2p could use adjustments. Nothing big just simple updates time to time. And I'm pretty sure ad revenue brings in some decent dough - I'll have to do some research since you deny it :wall: As I posted earlier for the Original poster I think he should explore more of f2p since I highly doubt they've fully experienced everything in f2p :] I'm not trying to make this rant into a quote flame war or w/e just stating that the rants not really about him not being able to afford p2p.

Re: Need a little advice
Bunnyip is worth it in the long run no matter what :

GE prices.
I think prices will still change. It all comes down to the supply and demand : I honnestly haven't been merching/studying graphs lately but we'll know within a month how this update fully affected the GE. One thing for certain is that the floor and ceiling prices have been changed.

If You Found 250 Million Coins. What Would You Buy? 20k views
I'd buy roughly 1k Rune sets. The rest I'd put into other warring supplies such as amulets food pots arrows binds etc.

How often do you click to see someones name/level?
I do it a lot :] Just curious about everyone i suppose

Runescapes Worst Tanks
He always tried to give me and other '4odd' members tips on tanking. I always ignored him and annoyed him lulz. But yeah I can see that since majority of his warring experience is from w141 and not too many binds there :

f2p need adjusting!
I don't see him so desperate. Rather mis informed on the full issue. Sure the main arguement is pay for what you get. Which itself is valid but f2p ad revenue also brings in a lot of dough . We're not asking for better updates than members...More like activites to keep players occupied while they go through there f2p period. I think he simply doesn't know theres so much to do in f2p :P . To the original poster... I'm sure you've touched up on every skill that you can but surely you haven't tried everything in those skills :]. Also if skilling isn't your thing considering Pvp. Wether this be in Clan Wars Arena or Pvp/BH worlds. Also theres a whole new community out there that you've probably never given a shot. I'm ofcourse talking about the clan world \ . Infact this is one of the few things I actually do in f2p. The clan community is a fun way to play runescape and I can't wait till our next event so it keeps me happy perhaps you could check it out :P

Baby Jebus Shuns True Brothaz
i'd refrain from warring TBZ because they basically mass pm peps 30mins before the war. Then they say full out ples! Xc2dafailboat just doesn't always seem to be on the same page as his warlords or who ever accepts them must lie to him 'yeah full out easy win they pull 15 we pull 50' But that's just my silly opinions gl if you rm them \

Baby Jebus Shuns True Brothaz
Uhhh...What was the final score? I understand they cheated but it was expected from TBZ :wall: Gratz anywayz hopefully you can rm them with no problems.

Level 3 skillers
 Yes my grammar is bad but I really wasn't trying to type all perfect. Seems like you have some work to do on your grammar as well. It was only fair to edit your grammar after you so kindly critiqued mine. You had a passive voice statement as well : . Grammar is a lot of nitpicking and sometimes I don't feel like I must be so focused on grammar on a silly topic about RS  but enough with grammar :] As for telling me to make my cash pile grow 13 times larger why would I waste my time off my other accounts  . I'm sure many skillers have made cash through merchanting and just because you can't do it doesn't make this invalid. Plus if you skill correctly, I don't think it's too hard to make cash. Also there is easy things you can do for cash such as item collecting. Sure combat can make it easier to obtain cash but it certainly doesn't limit lower levels to very little options for cash. If my friend gets online I'll ask him about some common item collecting he does which gets repetitive but still brings in the dough.

f2p need adjusting!
You can't make about a dime a day? You can find that much on the streets! Dare I ask, what country do you live in? that sir, was uncalled for. Actually it was a serious question. If he has the internet, he has five dollars a month. In most 3rd world countries, internet cafes are prevalent as a cheap alternative because people can't afford their own computers/internet. In these countries, five dollars means a lot, and can buy a lot more than it could in the US. So either the OP is a lazy kid, or he's part of the low income group to which five dollars really is that much. He could be playing from school for all I know. Considering even in the US, almost 1/3rd of the population live paycheck to paycheck, I try to stay away from personal attacks based on money until I know exactly what that person's status is. so you are trying to flame his country for being too poor for runescape membership? it costs different in different countries, and thats something that goes beyond forum posting, offending his country. its uncalled for and rude. and you say you try to stay away from personal attacks based on money? WELL YOU DIDNT DO THAT TOO WELL HERE. dare i say.... anti trolled gf? ... #-o Omali's question was which country the OP lives in, considering it's harder to make money in certain countries than in others (in one country getting 5$ is so hard it means a lot, in another one it's so easy you can almost use it as toilet paper). He asked this to determine is it really hard for the OP to make money to buy the membership or is he just simply too lazy to work for the money. Juhniz casts please-read-post-before-flaming, hits over 9000. Pyrox is annihilated. Okay...Learn to read right back at ya. He clearly states he can't make money for it - Wether he has trouble managing school + a job or he can't get a job due to age/economy is bad. The point pyro is making is that Where he lives shouldn't be brought up publicly to make fun of his status. saying something like 'Dare i ask where do you live?' Is implying that this player lives in a bad place which wasn't needed. He clearly states he cannont make the money and he's fine with that because he also said I just want f2p to get exciting. This rant wasn't titles P2p prices need adjusting! so bringing up where he lives due to finacial issues was uncalled for. He simply thinks f2p needs some updates to keep him interested in the game. Which is a fine rant - yes you can rebuttle with oh if you want updates pay but Ad revenues also bring in cash and f2pers are the ones having to deal with that. Please actually read and comprehend - As we have because his finacial status doesn't solve his rant about F2P gaining updates. Lol people make money so easily they use it as toilet paper..I don't think so. Also take in the fact that maybe he's too young to have a credit card or to mail/call in w/out parents permission. I heard ad revenue pays a lot more than 5 dollars a month  - Confirm/Deny?
-
Runescapes Worst Tanks
I disagree  They always took warring very seriously...How ever you may find my statement bias cuz i'm 'apart' of 4odd  Even though i told brunk not to add me and I don't talk to him anymore :P

Am I the only Decent Person in RuneScape?
If you hopped after he said, then yes you are the only decent person in Runescape. I don't think heros guild is the best place for blues either :wall:
