JeRambo's Blog
Haha. Why's that? Never been too much of a quester. Oddly enough whenever I do work on a quest I enjoy it .. Oh well. Good luck with your trimmed requirements .. I should take mine off the front page, I'll never finish all of them. Too much of a slacker .. Wow you did. :o. Didn't know you were catching up to me already. Gah .. Another person beating me to completionist cape. Grats though. .. Now match me in total XP. :geek:

how to train dungeoneering
You can do all the abandoned floors and one occult floor. You could try asking for, or waiting for floors to be advertised in the "EoE" clan chat. Join it as a guest. Join a few of the dungeoneering worlds and wait for people to advertise floors between 30-35. (if you have them unlocked) You then trade the person and they will send you an invite. Have fun. :^_^:

Buying armor and weapons
An abyssal whip is a good combat weapon, unless you have 80 dungeoneering and the tokens for a chaotic rapier. Are you looking for ways to get money with combat? Slayer's not that great for money anymore, but you could give it a try. I do herb farming for most of my money.

Buying armor and weapons
Hey there, welcome to the forums. :) Exactly what kind of armour and weapons are you looking for? Rune armour? P2P or F2P? You can visit the Grand-Exchange north-west of Varrock or east of Edgeville to buy pretty much any item(s) you are looking for. Grand exchange

Just looking for something "new" to do
I sometimes feel the same way you do; not motivated to do anything at the time. Either I take a break for a while or I look through the forums and the minigames on Tip.it to find something to do. You basically answered your question already regarding what to do to make your file a better PKer. Train combat through slayer and get the barrows gloves. Cannon slayer tasks and mage some of them as well (metal dragons, ganodermics, etc) I've made a few PKing files in the past and just fooled around on them training in the Edgeville dungeon or just PKing with them right away. :). You could already go PKing at your level if you want, but remember, don't risk items you do not want to lose. :P. It doesn't even have to be PKing, but find something that you enjoy doing and stick to it, or be like me switching skills and activities the whole time .

The most efficient path to max cape?
I'll give a few ideas of what I think are the most efficient for the following: Woodcutting - Arctic pines w/ full lumberjack, beaver, adze, and urns. Over 100k woodcutting xp/hr and 30k firemaking xp/hr. (roughly) Fletching - Broad arrows. 500k/hr. Mining - Concentrated gold ore with a lava titan, dragon pick and urns. Superheat the gold ores and drop the bars. Fishing - Barbarian fishing or C2 fishing. Agility - Advanced gnome with summer pies switching to Barb at 90. Thieving - Pyramid plunder. Farming - Magic and palm would get you it the fastest, but doing papayas, maples and herb runs will get you 99 before you max the rest of your skills. Runecrafting - Effigies, penguins, SoF, troll invasion, etc. Altarless runecrafting when it comes out. Hunter - Red salamanders till draconics. I suggest you start doing hunter soon so you can collect all the juju potions you will be needing. (mining, farming (herbs), woodcutting (arctics) Construction - Mahogany tables. Crafting - Battlestaffs are some of the cheapest with good xp rates. Cooking - Wines or rocktails. With rocktails you profit a little and it's around 300k xp/hr. Spreadsheets if you are interested.

Vyre Burning
Hi. You kill the vyres with the blisterwood polearm (preferably) and collect their corpses. When you have all the corpses you need, buy some pyrelogs (maples), and start burning them. Have a yak full of logs and an inventory full of corpses. Drop 2 corpses at the place and take logs from your yak. Start burning and grabbing keys then. I burned 2 vyres at a time. Good luck.

Clean organized bank
Talk to the Wise Old man in Draynor and he will "search" your bank for useless items to get rid of. (Quest items)

No problem. :) Have fun slaying.

How did this happen?
Every 10 tasks you get 75 points and every 50 tasks you get more. You get 5x the points every 10th task (75) and 15x the points every 50th task. (225)

Now that we can buy XP...
$100-200 worth on a new file with stats at 1 wouldn't get you anywhere to a good staking or pking file .. Certainly, if you got the spare cash go for it. Doing SW first then buying lamps would be better though. Don't know anyone who has done it yet, but I won't be surprised if people do in the future. I remember when I used just genie lamps on my 10 HP file .. :S.

Now that we can buy XP...
I don't see why anyone would want to spend hundreds if not thousands of dollars on a summoning pure or any pure for that matter just for the sake of PKing or staking. Keep in mind XP lamps are relative to your level.. that's a lot of money for something like a summoning pure. Grinding out 30 hours of soul wars would be a cheaper alternative.

Now that we can buy XP...
That has been possible with soul wars even before the update.
