JaGeX is a very large company and RuneScape is played on a global scale, you can't imagine companies not wanting to put up advertisements, players will see the advertisements, then go out and spend money on whatever the advertisement was.

I honestly don't think RuneScape will come to an end; or at least not in my generation. It will be one of those games you can tell your kids about. It's flourishing as it is though, so why worry about its demise? To sum up: I can't foresee it dying anytime soon. Regards, Legs O Skill
