Paging Dr. Markov...
This. A lot of annoying rumours appear every month... "Don't cannon in BA!", " don't spec the portal or spinners appear", " using smite prayer on Revenants make their drops better" and " ip divisable by 8 makes you better at CW" are the most known i think... It was just a matter of time until they made GWD rumours >.<

JaGEx >_<
If you are not then why are you complaining on a Runescape fan site and ranting about the game? I think anyone who would fight over a game is a fan. "I'm not a big jagex fan" doesn't mean i hate Jagex, does it? I am a fan of Runescape, and i think Jagex already did some pretty awesome things and deserves respect for that, but i think that at the moment, Jagex could be better, and i have been a little mad at them in the last few months. Nothing wrong with that, i guess?

f2p need adjusting!
Thank you. As a f2per for quite a while, i'm pretty sure it will be considered a demo and not get lots of decent updates for a while no matter what Jagex says, and i know that 5 bucks for p2p isn't really hard to get, but is asking for a fair combat system a lot?

New Revenant Problem?
If revenants are Jmods pking, then Jmods are TERRIBLE pkers  Wonder why people like Torso's so much... That str bonus isn't even worth half the work getting one O_O

noobs >.>
I almost regret getting my runecrafter robes in f2p because of the people asking for them :wall:

New Revenant Problem?
This. Tbh you have to suck to die to a Revenant. :| I think i should make a rant about Revenants being too weak O_o

JaGEx >_<
At one time both did tend to keep strict control over their respective areas of control. Jagex loosened up though. I'm not a big Jagex fan... but... seriously? Even if Jagex did that it is pretty stupid to compare them with the KGB O_o

How Easy Do You Want It?
I think you make a really good point here and I agree about the variety, and also more stages of achievements at the high levels, people may complain its easier or harder, but I definitely think its worth considering  Well...Zamorakshadow, you have certainly portrayed your personality and game interest clearly here. You have presented a completely bigoted, egotistical and biased view point, based on the idea that combat is the only skill worth having. That hardly warrants debate space on wanting things easier or not! Where on earth do you get the idea that updating skills automatically makes them easier? You want to make training easier? To what purpose? Its 'training' or if you play the game like I do, its part of the game and fun to do lots of things and put variety into developing the skills, not necessarily 'training', talk about blinkered! As for "getting the annoying 99 cape"....so you don't want a cape and would never wear one if you achieved 99? Yeah right. The best you could come up with is gravestones making it too easy. I would suggest going away and having a sensible think about what you want to say before posting, this makes no valuable contribution to the debate. :wall: No, i don't think cbt skills are the only worth having, it was just an example. Heck, i don't train combat in my main for a few months, and even on my pure i'm fishing more than pking recently. Updating skills doesn't automatically make them easier, but most updates do. For example, Jagex likes making new training areas, and players like new training areas.Obviously new training areas make the skill easier to train. New weapons would make cbt train easier, new money-making skilling ways would make us get money faster and train buyable skills faster... updates almost always make at least one aspect of the game easier, unless it's an update supposed to make it harder. And i would wear a 99 cape, and i do think it is an achievement, i just don't think that the big challenge in the game should be just getting the cape. As i said, the "hard" part about the game should be the challenges, the quests, the mini-games, the mini-quests, etc. Not just the training part. And no, i don't want to make things easier, in fact i think some of the xp/hour rates could be nerfed a bit. I just think that it's impossible not to make leveling a little bit easier with time and updates, and that the "hard" part of the game should not come from getting XP, but from doing things with the level you got with that XP. Sorry if i didn't add anything to the thread besides graves comment tho, i was actually thinking i didn't say anything very useful after i posted >.< What was my point: Training not-being insanely hard is fine, as long as at higher levels ( more high lvl content pl0x >.<) it unlocks hard stuff, that brings challenge into the game. One aspect is made easier, but a hard aspect is added, balanced. Though, some updates that made things easier are just outrageous ( Graves, Xp-fabric mini-games, etc). There is a max on how easy training can be, and we reached it a while ago >.< I believe training is fine as it is now, don't make it easier and add challenging stuff. Simple. Did i add something useful to the topic? Because i actually think i haven't :wall: EDIT: I noticed that i am completely divided in the subject and that what i said doesn't actually makes a lot of sense... oh well... Do non-biased opinions exist? Gotta call the mythbusters on that >.>

Defence Apparently is Useless.
Defence is not underpowered, as it is supposed to stop the accuracy of the enemy and still does it. What is underpowered is HP, which can't handle the Hyper strenght bonuses. We need a way to counter str and/or make hp less underpowered >.<

How Easy Do You Want It?
First of, almost all possible updates to a skill will make it easier, so we either never moove forward not to make the game easier, or we never make a new training area and make new updates give no xp. LOL @ that. Second, i see no problem with making training easier. Seriously, the "challenge" of the game should be in quests, challenges like fight caves and uber bosses, not in training. I do think the game is too easy at the moment and requires waaay more challenge, but training should not be the challenge. Grinding is not challenging at all, is just annoying and lots of people hate it. Getting the annoying 99 cape should not be the "achievement" here, the achievement should be beating the Uber Ultimate Grandmaster Quest, that unlocks a Fight Caves-like challenge, which gives the game Ultimate weapons that are required to beat the Z0mg-Giant-Corporeal-Tztok-Dragon-Mahjarrat-Beast-. (level - 1337) What i think that DO make the game too easy is things like Gravestones, that take away all risk of death. They should not work in boss areas and/or have to be rebought everytime we die, IMHO.

runescape super quest. Discuss.
Underground Pass whitout a guide, and whitout knowing ANYTHING at all about what your supposed to do is insanely hard. EVERYONE in Runescape knows that you have to throw the Doll in the well, but imagine if you didn't know that?! You'd have to make assumptions based on the vague hints thoose dwarves give you. Now, THATS a puzzle. Not to mention all the traps around that you don't know that are there. A friend of mine accidentaly stood over a very deadly trap that does VERY quickly damage when you are standing on it, and escaped it with 2 hp left. If he clicked out of it a second earlier, dead. Also, considering the level we normally are when we first start the quest... it IS pretty hard.

What is wrong with "buying" skills?
The only thing i hate about buyable skills is that someone who got a lucky visage drop get to train faster than someone who worked for a long long time. Besides that, no problem with it, you are training faster, but with a price.

runescape super quest. Discuss.
All storylines will tie with WGS eventually i think >.< Even today WGS is not considered a hard quest, it's just a long quest with high requeriments that is only seen as "Epic" because of the great storyline and because it is called "Grandmaster". Won't take long until it's overshadowed by others. In my opinion, in terms of difficulty Summer's End, Underground Pass and MEP2 already overshadow it.

Pray pots...
Seeds are bought out, Ranarrs problably are too. If your a higher level who does Barrows/Slayer/GWD/PKing a lot, it will take days to make enough potions to last a few hours. Plus, should we HAVE TO make our potions ourselves because a small group of jerks decided to make a quick buck manipulating prices? Jagex should start monitoring the clans and the ge, and everytime an item starts being merched, dump lots of thoose items in the and/or ge and drive the price down. I like to think that players alone control the economy and i would hate to see them doing that, but, we gotta fight fire with fire. If the clans are gonna manipulate prices, Jagex should fight them manipulating prices. If Jagex started doing that, it would not take long until they notice manipulating is making them loose money and quit. Plus, they should make Pmods able of muting merch clan advertisers in the ge and stop all that spam.

Where would you place a teleport?
... It's "Arandar" O_o Keldagrim teleport would be nice. A CW/Bh tele would be VERY nice for f2p. A Trouble Brewing tele would be also nice. Moar people playing that mini pl0x?

Opinions on newer players in rs
There are two kinds of new players: The newbs, and the noobs. The newbs are just people who just started playing, they are a little lost and sometimes need help. Nice people. The noobs are immature ( normally aren't even 13) idiots who beg for stuff and are too lazy to do train, explore or get the money themselves. Sadly. theese days most new players are noobs... ugh...
-
Pray pots...
Not only merch clans continue destroy the economy... They decided to annoy EVERYONE by making impossible to buy p pots and driving their price up... Seriously, WHAT?! They just HAD to merch one of the most important items in the game. Are they doing this for money or "for the lulz"? Yeah, we can make our potions ourselves, but, should we have to just because some jerks decided to abuse a flaw in the ge? >.> If Jagex forced pray pot price down, i would applaud. Heck, if they did that to all items that are being merched, it would be great >.>

Mentally challenged man severely beaten up
4chan is still pretty powerful, who knows what can happen? Even if they don't destroy the lives of thoose idiots, having all your friends on facebook watching you do such a coward stupid thing can cause a lot of trouble.
-
The longest skill?
Slayer is the slowest there... But runecrafting in my opinion is the hardest.. Slayer at least have a nice variety and some people like doing the tasks, rc max the xp-hour very soon and is boring like hell. Farming is not as hard as most people think.
-
Mentally challenged man severely beaten up
Why am i not surprised? 4chan is problably going to destroy thoose idiot's lives. Might end up on the news, then the idiots are dead. DEAD.

JaGEx >_<
Lots of free time, huh? Lucky [bleep] Well, to you may be just a time waster, but to a hell lot of people it is fun, it is a hobby, and sometimes a way to talk to rl friends. To a hell lot of people, it is pretty important. I guess it's a matter of opinion >.<

Should the GE be removed?
I believe that GE caused more trouble to that than skillcapes. Some transformation skills were profitable when there was no ge but there was skillcapes, if you were smart and found the right buyer... But it was in fact a combination of a hell lot of things... For cooking, Cook-x, GE, skillcapes and PC/SW ( which allow people to train whitout food) ruined it. For smithing, both GE/Skillcapes and the fact that Rune is not exacly the best anymore. Fletching, Herblore... not much different. What i would like to see is GE's in other areas such as Ardy... having 70% of the players in the same area all the time is not a very good thing.

Can you believe this guy?
You should have told him its his fault that his parents are divorced  Mean, but I'd be lying if I said I didn't start cracking up in my computer chair  I now know what to answer to all the noobs i meet in rs ( which depending on the place can be 90% of rs >.>). THANK YOU.

JaGEx >_<
I think Brian Reagan said it best with his balloon analogy. When you see a kid lose his balloon, and it flies away, he starts screaming. His parents always talk down to him like "Why are you crying? It's just a balloon! We'll get you another one." I always answer back with, imagine if your wallet just floated out of your pocket, and started flying away. "Why you are crying? It's just a wallet. We'll get you another one." Thats a bad analogy, balloon is a bit of rubber and string, a wallet has money and I.D in. One is vastly more important than the other. The idea is that it's not about the tangible importance of the object, it's the perspective of the person who owns it. I don't think any kids values a balloon. It can't really be applied to runescape though cos it isn't important, if you think it is then I think you need to sort your priorities out. ... That is exacly what we were talking about. We use our time ( AKA the most important resource) playing Rs, some use IRL money for p2p ( and some idiots to RWT >.>). Some have better friends in RS than IRL (>.<). Rs bring us fun in our free time. YES, the game is important to lots of people. It's not a priority, and it shouldn't be one at all, but it is important.

[DevBlog] Trust Us, We're QA
With the amount theese people seem to lose with some bugs, why even take that ANYWHERE?! Bringing 300m+ to new mini/anywhere is not very smart >.<
