yeah, ill be doing dung when my clan goes out doing it. Because i dont like doing it with randoms or solo. But at this rate i wont be getting cr very fast.

For f2p, ranged is the best option with gravite or rune 2h to Finnish. So if you didnt level you wont do too well. If you leveled range you could do well.

Hey. What would i good method of making money be at my levels (in siggy) For combat i have full void but with out reflector. Also got SoL for mage, whip for melee and rune c'bow for range. The armours i have are basic, d legs with torso, glory, dhide for range. I have very little money to work with (about 1.5mil) and i dont know how to flip so i guess thats out. Ideas?

How is this asking for advice? You not know what you want to do but your just to lazy to add some numbers up. Do it yourself!

If that was true, they wouldn't have such a large difference in defence requirements I don't so much think this as that I hear that Jagex has promised to never release the dragon kite (I seem to remember this anyway, might be wrong of course). Both dfs and dragon are signs of inefficient slayers though :P. The dragon kite would be useless now just like dragon bolts. Diamond bolts are already as expensive as rune bolts. Dragon bolts would cost even more. Future RS updates Confirmed that they will. Also dragon defender, warhammer, cbow and possibly bars. But i doubt dragon bars will ever be introduced

Don't tell me people think you need 70 defence to wear gloves? OT: don't raise defence unless you find that you need to; there's no reason to go to 70 unless you actually plan on using Dharok's. PvP armour has the same stats corrupt or not corrupt and at 70 defence, you still can't equip the standard version. Elysian and divine shields can't be equipped until 75 defence, so 70 wouldn't do you any good there either. Piety is much worse than turmoil, so again 70 defence is useless. Could somebody please show me a reason why he should bother getting more defence levels on an account he's trying to keep at a low combat? Imperfections don't necessarily mean you have to go and make it even "worse" if there's no benefit to doing so... No benefit? barrows armor has good defence and if you quested 70 def (i think thats what ruggug is trying to say) you would save HP lvls.

That's absolutely 110% useless. I still have to refresh my email page every 30 seconds to see if I've gotten an email? Why couldn't I just refresh the GE page on Runescape.com? If you have a vista or windows 7 OS u can add a gadget on your desktop that makes a sound when you get an email in. I know there is a gadget for gmail and hotmail so just find one for your email provider!

Ok. Thanks for all the help i have decided to get 70 prayer first with a berserker ring as those still add up to less than a dfs. The left over money i can use as an investment into prayer pots so i can afford to peity every task until it pays off. I will get 68 summ next once i have enough charms. Thanks alot!

Yer i use d boots. Even though im getting some contradicting answers it seems i should go for 70 prayer by everyone. But one question about peity, wont i be losing money on most tasks seeing as i go through prayer real fast? Its probably a stupid question but i wana know what im spending my money on.

@dirk4slayer Sorry my first post was probaly not worded right, so ill try again. I know whip and defender are the best xp but i want to start training str by itself when i get 80 def and attk. And i know SS is the suggested way to train str but i wanted a gs because i wanted to train str and be able to go and kill high levels for fun as well. Thats why i though gs was a balance. If gs is still a rubbish idea ill take both your advice and level prayer to 71. @sumondskull6 Is fury worth it at my level with the equip i use?

Full. And i thought about both of those but i used a calc and found out im still a bit off 68 summ charm wise. But prayer is a really good idea. I would get to 71 so i can use curse right away as well.

So, i can get the money for either DFS, a ZGS/BGS, or a Bandos tasset/chestplate. Im hard into slayer and want to train it with melee most of the time. My usual setup is torso, d legs, whip, defender and always with slayer helm because thats the only way i train my melee at the moment and probably the only way i will train it as long as i play. I also switch to guthans for healing so i can camp at my task. I want to be able to boss in the future or now if its possible. Heres the reason i want each of these items: I want the DFS as a high def shield and give good str bonus of a defender. Also because its one of the best def shields out there so little upgrading need once purchased. I want a GS for str training once i have my def and attack high enough to stop with whip, and can double as weapon to use on bossing. So dont really want a ss unless u can convince me it can do a balance of both these. And i want the Bandos chestplate or Tassest to replace my current armor for a good str and def bonus. So what one should i buy? Should i buy any of these? If not what should i buy for what i want to do?

Some really good ideas in there. I really like the quest! But i think the weapons should not have specials in f2p worlds and lessen the stats a little otherwise these will be the only weapons worth using in f2p. I think i reasonable update for fm and ash would be to make a potion or dust or something to temporarily increase stats of weapons and armor. Or have ash able to be only crafted/smithed/whatever into minor armor pieces such as necklaces, bracelets, gloves, boots and capes. This could be used with the different grades of ash to make more variety of decent small armor for f2p and p2p alike. Another cool idea would be to make pk weapons and armor, with low or very little requirements to wear but high requirements to make. They could be like around as strong as mith or addy making them only useful to low leveled players or pkers. Sorry if any of this has been said i really couldn't be bothered reading all posts, and please don't take this as hating i do believe fm should be revived but in less overpowering ways and by not introducing too much completely new stuff to f2p such as special attacks.

Maxing xp in all skills will be a massive time waster, but you will be unique!

If you can manage that you will be a true runescape legend!

So i just started hunting (lvl 37) and i was wondering what the best method of training at my lvl, and what are good training methods for the future. Any ideas?

The Short bow is much better, its a lot faster. Longbows shoot further but no other bonus. But if you do want to shoot long range use a comp bow as they have a little more accuracy.
