  1. all i need to know is if you can get dust devil task without having started desert treasure.
  2. i am currently 78 strength 75 attack 70 defense 68 slayer 74 range 47 prayer and use chaelder as a slayer master. i am thinking about getting a cannon for slayer, however i have allot of questions about it before i buy it. firstly i would like to know what the normal amount of cannon balls per hour i will be using. second, witch tasks are best to cannon and (if there is more then one spot) where should i go to do so? third what tasks are most likely to make me back the money i use on the cannon balls? and last, how great will the xp gain on tasks i use a cannon on be? thanks for any help!
  3. You will find as you get older its not important to be cool. I worried about being cool when i was that age aswell and you know what it got me? regret and a big fat nothing. The people that are "cool" now at your age end up being nothings at my age (im 32). im 15 and i have trouble with people calling me uncool. no matter how hard i try i usually end up feeling bad about it because i can end up finding some small sliver of truth in what they say, but im working on just getting over it.
  4. what most people don't understand are GOALS that's what runescape-and 99% of other games, are. take a completely unrelated game, call of duty 4. most people would say this game requires some skill, and it does. but what do people do in it, they try to get camos for there guns, beat there old kill streaks and do well in matches, these are all GOALS, benchmarks that people set themselves in order to do more goals later on, that's all it is and all most games (and most sports, pastimes and jobs) are, live with it.
  5. i would have to recommend Aviansie's above all else, nothing beats them. even people with low defense can pro range and make good cash, i went there from 72(20k from 73) to 74 range and made about 2.3m. witch was enough to pay for everything i spend on food AND all the armor i got in less then 4 hrs total time there, just take some b2p tabs/runes some nats for alchs and some good defense armor and your set for a long, long time.
  6. i don't know about other people, but i was able to get 28 points in a game making level 2 arrows... this may have been luck or i may not remember correctly but i know it was in the 20 point area, and i was only 33 fletching at the time.
  7. this is what i have been wondering for years, i started runescape at seven years at 7 allot of kids in school thought runescape was dumb and i was somehow a nerd for playing it, then my first account was hacked (level 37, i was SO sad) and i quit until i was 12, when i went back runescape had changed alt but the general view of it at my school hadn't. i was skill ridiculed and called a loser for playing it but i just got over it, however allot of my friends who liked playing runescape eventually caved in to peer pressure and stopped, to them runescape "wasn't worth being uncool", the worst part though is that my mom considers it a waist of time and thinks me playing it is bad for me (but books are sooo much better right, i have only read 100's of them) even though the place we are living in now provides very few compelling opportunity's to do much else. when it comes down to it though something is only a waist if you consider it to be (for the most part) and if you truly enjoy something enough to go far in it you should be proud of it.
  8. i do very well against any strength based mele monster with a shield, such as giants, demons (not black) and most other monsters. i only want strength up because it raises max hit, now that im 75 attack i have no other leveled items to unlock that would be useful for pve and i wanted it to get it out of the way, i might do the whip on controlled as i also want slayer levels badly, the obsidian sword sounds like a bad idea for slayer to me. on the other hand just making some money might be the best way to go, thanks for the help so far.
  9. hi! i am in need of some good advice, i am currently 75 attack, 70 defense and 75 strength as well as 65 slayer. i would like to get my strength to 85 using a saradomin sword with slayer, but i am not sure how to best go about this. buying a saradomin sword would mean selling my whip and full guthans and lowering my cash supply to about 100k, although i am confident i could make back the money i lost from buying the sword quickly i am scared that some tasks would be come much harder, possibly even beyond my capability to complete in 1 run, such as greater demons and fire giants. this would in turn lower my slayer xp per hour. one method i though of doing was completing a few quests and going to avainseines(i am 73 ranged, and have done avainseines on my last account, so i know how to kill them effectively) to raise a more suitable amount of cash to buy the sword with so i would not have to sell my guthans. however i am still not entirely sure if buying a saradomin sword would be better then using a dragon scimitar with a defender, any help with how i could go about getting up my strength most effectively (with slayer, if possible) would be great, thanks. (i would like to apologize before hand for the bad presentation of my question, i am tired right now and am not anywhere near as good at writing as i would like to be  )
  10. if you think about it that way, then yes. most skills are useless. however, many people enjoy skills that my lose them money, personally i want to get allot of none combat skills - like fletching and mining up even though there is very little benefit in having them, money making is only half the game, you still need to enjoy yourself!
