I try to do bork every two days at (almost) the same time. I usually go at 15 minutes before 8pm (eastern US time), kill him once, then just go to the room south with the Bronze dragons and sign off for 10 minutes. I then sign back on and it's the "next day" in RS time so I kill him a second time then home teleport out. Cuts down on one trip to the wildy. I also make sure I'm good and stocked, and go due south of the entrance on the "safe" side of the wall, then log out and log onto another world (in case anyone is stalking me). Really as was said it's only lvl 5-6 wilderness, but still there are plenty of little children pk'ers who can pk you in a heartbeat. All it takes is two clicks and you're frozen and teleblocked, and a few swipes of a ddp++ and you're dead. Typically though they tend to camp out by the abyss entrance moreso than the chaos tunnels.

You should as well be reminded the poll was written that way so as to get the response Jagex wanted all along. Had they separated the two questions there most certainly would have been a different response. Before the wilderness returned, the pvp worlds were always empty. Why, if so many wanted to do player killing were these worlds always so void of players? I don't care abut gold farming or botting. I think both of those are over-exaggerated. Players think that just because someone won't lead them to some location, or answer a question about an item, or do a skillcape emote on request they are botters. I will agree with the GE complaints. Prices on most goods have plummeted. That said I just avoid the wilderness or as it is often called the kiddie pool. I have no desire to have some 12 year old 25 levels lower than me get my stuff because he is 99 mage and can unfairly teleblock, then freeze, then kill me with a few swipes of a ddp++ before I can even react. Let the children have their playground. Plenty to do in the rest of Runescape.

How does a group of high level players in one spot guarantee they are all botting? I think there's a lot more whining about botting than actual botting.

There's no doubt the new update made the "economy" of Runescape crash. Prices are down dramatically on many many items (rares and discontinueds being the exception). I've seen bots being pegged as the culprit, but that whole line is bogus. The bots have increased, but not by a large amount.

He may have an attitude about it, but he's right. If anyone were to say something like that it would be trolling, plain and simple. He didn't ask about how good the profits were, and there does tend to be those types of responses in a lot of threads asking about experience.

Number 1. Did I say I cried because I was killed? Um no. Number 2. You kill people at the agility area to annoy them? Your exactly the type of person I find pathetic Number 3. I wasn't skulled? Number 4. It's "Wilderness." Pkillers are in fact, pathetic and annoying. Really, that's what they do. Really think about it...you hear a lot of bragging, but for the most part it's bs when you hear of some great haul. Mostly pkers wind up with an inventory of sharks and a potion or two and a bronze dagger. That time could have been better spent somewhere else but somewhere else doesn't give the same satisfaction saying "hahahaha noob, and I did ur mother too" as they spec you 2-3x and boom your dead. I do agree though, if you don't want to be killed by some 11 year old just for your bones stay out of the wilderness. I only ever went there when Jag had changed it for 2+ years. I've yet to step foot in there since. I stay where the grown-ups congregate. Let the little kids play in the kiddie pool. They'll not get a dime of my stuff. Ever.

Ok I have the elite void torso and robes and almost have enough for a helm. Which of the three is the best bang for the buck? I dont mage often but I am 99 My Attack and Def. are 99, my str 87 My ranged is 86 so I'll be working on that next. I see a LOT of people wearing full void doing range so I'm wondering if that might be best?

No, i'd rather say you are a noob that can't pk.. Old PvP worlds were empty because the system was broken and you couldnt get fair drops. Check my stats, I'm far from a noob. PVP is for kids really. Jag is just trying to lure in the pre-teen crowd with bringing back the wildy. And yes the market has crashed big time. If you've tried to sell anything recently you'd know that. A few items have gone up but the vast majority of items have plummeted. Sorry but how am I supposed to check your stats? I don't see a rs hi scores link anywhere and you dont have a stat signature. Even so having great stats doesn't stop you from being a noob in the pvp area. And, tbh, I don't know if it (pvp) is *designed* for children, but that's primarily what it attracts. Just go there sometime.

I'd still vote no. The "market" has crashed, I have no use to play in the baby pool (a.k.a. wildy). Free trade was a good idea, but The wildy is useless. The whole vote thing was not only a rouse, but I don't believe for a minute those numbers were accurate. If so many wanted to wilderness back why were the pvp worlds always completely empty? Meh.

A lot of ppl are. It's all over the rs forums. This problem started happening after the wildy update. There's a lot of jerkoff kids just replying "get a new computer". Unfortunately this isn't a computer issue, it's a Runescaoe issue. There is a sticky there regarding the problem (QFC 25-26-406-61969946). You can try some of their "solutions" however with so very many people having the same issue, updating or reinstalling a graphics card will not be a fix. Hopefully jagex is looking into this. There's way, WAY too many people having this same issue.

Not at all! I love it when people who play a game that is just clicking a mouse being too lazy to click a mouse. Sure, banking is the best option, but as I said before, unless you're already at 99 prayer you an idiot for not taking the xp. Just pick them up & scatter them. Just kinda ironic imo.

Please continue to ignore infernal ashes. They are not worth any money, and certainly do not give decent prayer experience. Please. Leave them on the ground. Nothing to see here. Move along. Seriously...when they first came out (ok it's been all of what a week?) it didn't take a rocket scientist to realize that with a simple click you get pretty decent prayer xp, damn close to that of d bones. So from the start unless you're 99 prayer, what kind of lazy moron do you have to be to not click all of two times? Truth be known I'm extremely happy so many players are this lazy. I've upped my prayer quite a bit, and have a TON of ashes in my bank for ecto-ing. Are that many players this stupid/lazy or is the slayer tower just filled with botters?

Ok, just a quick bit o'help please...I'm sure this is gonna be a quick "can't be done" but I figure it worth a shot to ask. I'm 86 prayer atm. I'm wanting to do the Varrock elite tasks, but I need to be able to use the Soul Split curse, which is level 92. OTHER than getting myself up to 92 prayer...are there ANY boosts which would work? I already figured out the boost you get from just switching to curses (it bumped me to 98) doesn't work, so obviously soaking at the Ogre pool won't work. Are there any...robes I can wear or anything at all just to get my higher if only for a few minutes? Even if it's one or two that'll help. Prayer ain't an easy skill as I'm sure you know. I have 80mil in my bank so buying d bones isn't out of the question (or infernal ashes for that matter before they go even higher). I'm just not wanting to spend all that cash (and time) for one task. Well, thanks in advance for any ideas or info.

:thumbsup: Those who will benefit are those who pray on the unbalanced pking fight. When someone 15+ levels lower than you can click freeze, teleblock, swipe you 2-3X with a ddp++ then finish you off with a godswordin less time than it takes to read this sentence, it's unfair. Yes the wilderness is dangerous, don't bring anything you're not prepared to lose, blahblahblah. There are things in the game you simply can't do without entering the wilderness. Penguins, certain quests, treasure trails, abyss, etc... BUT, this is Jagex's decision and it will now be part of the game. They're going to (overall) lose more players than they think. Sure plenty left when pking went away, but they lose tons more over time when people quit month over month when people get pissed after being killed by a clan trying to find a frigging penguin. Pking is supposedly so popular, but look at the current pvp and bounty worlds. Consistiently empty. They're just looking to get a boost in the 11-14 age category. That's the target audience to player-killing. Fine by me. That means less of them in the areas the rest of us will be in.

I know I'm bumping an old thread, but I'm having the exact same run of bad luck. I'm not on my second statue, but I'm on the "twin" piece where you have to get two of the same replica pieces before they can be added to the statue. And I'm on hunter as well. Granted it is nice having gone up two levels (so far) and lots of $$ from the Kyatt fur, but it's getting old!!!

Maybe because it's been debunked time and time again and the movement should be disregarded. I wouldn't call anyone who supports it wacko, but they're definitely sheep. I hate GW Bush as much as anyone, but I'm not so hateful as to believe a story created in a basement by two angry teens with a vivid imagination.
