Fair enough. I guess if I got one as a drop it'd be worth it. The price though isn't worth it. I'm basically bored with my Guthans and am looking for a better armor (that doesn't totally disintegrate after a while or require dung to buy). Thanks for the replies!

Compared to Guthans, it's vastly inferior, save for a small strength (+4) difference, and an even smaller (+1) prayer. What Am I missing? It looks cooler I'll give you that...but cool doesn't help fight monsters.

All you need do is look at how little people are signed on when you go to the world select screen. Only about 2-3 worlds close to the max of 2,000 - most well under 1,000 several less than 200. Funny my first thought is not so much the lack of bots but how many people must have quit once the old wilderness came back. Everyone wanted it so badly but it seems to be that Runescape lost a ton of people rather than gained. Before the wildy update (and thus before the bots kicked in) the only world with less than 1,000 players even in the wee hours of the night were the designated PVP worlds. Where'd all the people who voted to bring back the wilderness go?

It's Runescape itself. This problem is all over their forums. Not sure why they're unable to fix it. And, before anyone says anything it's not a computer issue. I've tried on my latop, both my kids who play on their own have had this issue, I've also used our main desktop here at home and at work. It's some kind of crash and I'm sure I haven't tried ALL possible graphic options, but most of them and it still occurs. You just have to hope it doesn't happen at an inopportune time.

I hope everyone who got wet over the wilderness coming back is happy. Your vote paved the way to all this bot garbage. So now you can kill some random player in total cowardice for little gain and feel really good about it. So what if there's a million bots making it worthless, and prices on 90% of items have totally crashed, and your favorite area is overcrowded. The wildy is back! Right? :roll:

Yeah, damn shame glories are worth less than half what they were thanks to the crash in prices because of the wildy coming back. So a handful of little kids can sit and pk people for glories but RS is being overrun with bots and prices have plummeted. Swell. WTG with your votes kiddies! :thumbsup:

Pk'ing is a childish activity. There are a lot of pre-teens who play Runescape. Pretty much all there is to say.

Title says all...looking to fight some waterfiends for crimsons...Seems like ranged prolly isn't a great options since they're weakest to smask attacks. Still, I'm guessing there may be a ranged option which is better than the rest, and I want to work on my range. TIA!

Ok. I'm stuck, and don't really remember where I left off or what to do. I KNOW I did the first THREE puzzles, BUT... As you can see by the screenshot, it looks like I didn't do any...it looks like I'm at the beginning... BUT according to the log I did two of them. Now, I tried from the third, did that nothing happened. Did the third again nothing. Do I need to start from the beginning? Any help would be greatly appreciated. I swear beating Nomad was less frustrating than this. :wall:

I voted no and do not regret it. The wilderness is a haven for children. There's no fairness in having someone 25 levels lower than you attack you and within 5 clicks have you killed. Teleblock, freeze, and a few swipes with a ddp++ and you're dead. Bullcrap. The "economy" crashed, many prices still have yet to recover. And if you think for a minute over 90% of people voted for this you're only lying to yourself. Jagex introduces a vote and just a few months later a major update? Please. They were going forward no matter what. Had they wanted a fair representation they as well would have separated the vote. Many wanted free trade, very few wanted the old wildy. So if you can't sell your stuff, can't do many of the activities that involve the wilderness, and absolutely love bots, thank the morons who voted to bring the wilderness back.

Well after having to have 3+ posts removed from this topics where one of them accused me of botting, that really doesnt motivate me to post... That's sad. The complaining about bots has reached a point to where it's worse than the actual act of botting itself. Most of the time it's not true and just speculation. Jagex should start banning people for false reporting and whining about it when they have no proof beyond someone simply not responding to "what is your level in crafting".

No it doesn't make them kids, but their actions are childish. You are correct though. The entrance to the Chaos tunnel (that particular one at least) is not close enough to multi-combat to be attacked by 2 or more players. I think the confusion comes from the abyss entrance, which is close enough and players would often get attacked by 2 at once, being teleblocked AND frozen.
