Lynx if you don't feel like joining me on the Sarlane for a rescue mission, then atleast help the colonists, okay? Mask it would be helpful if you tagged along for the rescue mission, a person with medical training is a good idea. Sarlane took off and is currently on it's way to the hypergate to Europa (which should also be contacted) Sarlane must have landed on Astare 3 when the 50,000 colonists got off to do the work, and that's how it got infected.

Nah, getting a sample would be easy, send a hazmat to walk around Astare 3 for a bit, quaruntine him, scrap a few microbes off him, and then put him in in a chemical shower or disintergrate the suit. Yes, unless you have something that prevents it from getting in your lungs or cuttung yourself. So it seems anyone coming on the mission will need hazmat suits. This is primarily a rescue mission, thus we need to figure out a cure.... That or we pay for the entire crew of Sarlane to respawn. To find a cure we need to capture a sample, a sample is easily available on Astare 3, so before we go, we quaruntine a sample.

If anyone thinking about getting Portal 2 It's pretty good and I feel the ending was fantastic.

Oh yeah I should probably say what I know of the virus It spreads through touch I believe, and is also airbourne. It seems to infect the person Via their lungs and cuts on their body. A cut will make the virus reproduce faster and begin killing faster. The lungs are much slower, but they're still dangerous and will lead to death. It eats flesh, the symptoms seem to be very easy to spot when the person has reached the later stages of infection. Also Jacques was able to see the microbes, so that's good, if he can spare w/e he was using (as in create more) It looks like a bluish greeny infection on the flesh that slowly eats the flesh. Oh yeah being on Astare 3 means it can survive high temps (300 degrees celsius)

Wyvren, Retech wanted to go to Astare 3, as it is basically a barren hell planet, or Astare's equivilent to Sol's Venus, we thought it was okay to give Retech the planet, and he only wanted a research centre, so we didn't need to explore. The way we figured out that it had a virus was cause I was messing around and cut myself, and the virus suddenly showed up (that luck). It wasn't a colonisation attempt, the workers were just construction workers.

Urm. I don't know how to say this guys. We dun goof'd. Well, Retech and Me. The Sarlane, well the crew anyway, are probably dead/dying. Cause we've just figured out that Astare 3 is home to a vicious virus that eats away at the flesh, to the point where you're just a bubbling patch of infected blood on the floor. Where Retech goof'd was that he was so set on going to Astare 3, that this wouldn't of happened otherwise, even after telling him it was okay if he built on Astare 4, just away from the colony. Retech this is what your greed does. Where I goof'd, after being infected with the virus (I visited, AKA was stranded on the surface of Astare 3) After being infected cause I cut myself on something and the microbes entered the cut. I didn't realise that the Sarlane was on the surface of the planet, and thus RIFE with that virus. So yeah, I didn't see it coming until after the session (after talking with Paul of course). Now the Sarlane isn't THAT far away, so we can send a rescue mission there, but it has to occur in between session, and only if nero agrees to let us use the pegasus. So yeah, and I'm so going to be a part of that mission. I wont let the Sarlane die, I liked it there :(, there were cool people like Volta, Jerry and NPC 23. SO YEAH WHO'S WITH ME BEFORE ALBERT TURNS CRAZY? Oh yeah that means all of Retech's resources spent on Astare 3, the 50,000 colonists and our only way to trade with Europa are all pretty much screweed.

Retech that world is rather bad to build on. Also Colony needs 10K KT! You don't NEED a colony(As in your research centre). I guess you can build away from the colony (IT'S A LARGE PLANET). But the space around the colony is neccessary for the colony.

Anywho @Nero and Retech What's going to happen with the extra 25,000KT? The colonial team still needs some extra funding for the bare essentials of the colony (such as housing or farms) We will need ~10,000KT of the reserves, this will allow the colony to thrive and they wont hate us. Remember the colony is pretty much the reason we're here.

Well if Nero wants to let it all go, then this can be put in the past.
