Yes i have played unreal tournament in a league, and as i said i was one of the highest ranked quake 2 players in the world when i had time to play games often. Runescape takes more skill, your a lvl 40 you have no idea what kind of reflexes it takes to pk when the max hit gets up into the 70's. Try eating up from a 60+ hit whilst repotting, keeping an eye on prayer and trying to kill your opponant all at the same time.. You have no idea what your talking about.

Pfffft. Who needs a vid to watch autoed noobs run arround killing each other, just go to the castle.

Shooting games are easier then high lvl rs pking.

And that is why I can't help but feel that you are something of a very bored troll. And for that matter, I have not played the game in months, nor will I play the game seriously ever again*, so you fail on both regards. Yes, this game takes little skill and brainpower (outside of pvp)- that's part of the reason I don't play anymore. But don't come to this forum making 50 posts a day about bashing the game this forum is about, as well as players in general, when you don't have a single level on the highscores whilst stating that you've played for over three years. That's suspicious, to say the least. *[insert predictable "HAH! Like he thinks he's quit for good" thought.] I have not logged into rs in 3 weeks and i work 12 hours a day 5 days a week, i am certainly a no lifer in the fact that i get 2 days of free time a week to myself, but this game is certainly not the cause.

The old TRWF, myself, arch wonder, fergz13, puncie, insane range, majyk, pk the mad, sharky marky, i joshie i on his original char, denpos1, tame elf, elvenstreng and the rest.. Best group of people ive known on rs, best time ive ever had on rs. Also my time with MK when Interdictor2 was general was amazing, id follow him to hell and back.

I was a ladder player in cs, i was a ladder player in starcraft (rank 71 on us east in 2001). I was rank 9 on the quake 2 ladder back when it came out. I play quake wars, i play sof2, i play farcry.. Runescape pvp takes just as much skill if not more then an fps or a strategy. Your "dodging" is food and prayer. Your "aiming" is re attacking. Your "strategy" is knowing the lay of the land, when to spec, when to eat, when to run, when to entangle, when to teleblock ect. Diablo 2 is an rpg and it takes just as much skill if not more then any fps i have ever played. Now see you havnt experienced rs pvp at its fullest extent so your talking based on what you have read, not what you have experienced, this is why you fail.

D long is a junk weapon, i trained with a mystic air staff untill the whip came out.

Barbarian Fishing: While it maybe faster, it is a lot less convenient to bank/sell your fish. Arguably, with the store just steps away as opposed to dropping all 26 of the fish you catch at one time, Shilo could be seen as faster. Mahogany is much better experience, and cashwise it can make a pretty penny. However, there's not nearly as much of a market for Mahogany as there is Yew, so it only makes sense to be cutting Yew. If you had of spent some time outside of grinding these skills, you would know these things. Its not argueable at all, barbarian fishing is much better, the time you save getting to 99 can easily be used to make more money on another skill then you would have got from fly fishing or monks. And mahogany sells easy, if your selling yews your competing with one hundred thousand autoers all selling 10-200k yews at a low price. Faster xp and a market not clogged with autoers? theres no competition.

*looks at unranked highscores* Willows for fastest xp, yews for more money but less xp. Fly fishing at shilo for fastest xp, monks for slower but more profitable xp. Good thing I have first hand knowledge eh? Fly fishing isnt fastest xp, barbarian fishing is. mahogany is better then yews for woodcutting xp and cash. If you had lvled the skills you would know these things.

Well, frankly you two have been very rude and closed-minded towards me and others in the past. So its hard to take much of what you two say seriously. Pking is another thing, thats a human and is alot harder to predict than a boss monster. I suck at pking and I know it. Im not close minded and i am only rude when im pushed to a point of which some ones ignorance has forced me to it. Skills = knowlege, theres no clearer way of saying it then that, if you havnt woodcut dont talk about woodcutting, if you have never fished dont brag to me about your fishing knowlege. Saying anything to the contrary is just stupid.. Read all the books in real life on surgery you want, im not going to let you operate on me.

You brag about all this rs knowlege then show that your clueless within minutes.. Heres some of the things you have to do pking.. Eat at the right times so you dont lose an attack round get tagged or koed. Drink pots at the right times to avoid losing an attack round get tagged or get koed. Wear the right gear hybriding to get the maximum performance out of both attack styles you are using: Eg your teleblocks dont splash and your specs dont hit low. Know when to spec and when to wait, if you dont click at the right time you lose an opportunity to ko, or you can even lose the fight altogether, you have to balance it out so that you take enough risk to get a ko, but not enough to get koed, and believe me its a very fine line. You also have to know when to run and what obsticles are of use eg: Trees rocks and monsters. You have to know when to switch attack styles, when to drink a prayer pot to keep prot item and whatever offensive prayers your using up. You need to know whos arround you at all times and be aware if you have a potential pjer nearby. You need to be able to range far casters and switch to melee every time the spell breaks and effectivally prayer switch at the same time.. Yeah pking is just click and wait right? your the pking expert here.. =D> You need to know when to switch to a ko weapon and when to just stay with your main weapon. You need to know which food to take, which pots to take and which gear to take. You need to have a good knowlege of other players gear and techniques so you know how to beat them. You need to know the wilderness arround you well enough to know your best escape route. Id feel better if you admitted you were wrong and just shut up about stuff you know nothing about, and for the record i started when castle domain first advertised runescape so id say january or february 2001, i came over with a few the clan members i knew back then. And robert why do you find it ironic that i think higher skill in the game means more experience?, care to elaborate?.

So you havnt lvled combat once in 5 years?, why lie?.

Would 2k+ tip it posts, a lvl 121 character with a 1921 skill total and a join date for tip it the day after lightning made it public be proof enough? :? A lot of low lvl noobs claim to know heaps about the game but they dont seem to realise, reading about something isnt experience, you can read about fight caves till you know everything there is to know about it and still not be able to complete them. You can read every article ever made on pking and still never be a good pker. You can read about smithing to your hearts content but if you dont have the willpower to lvl it you have gained nothing.

You dont, and hearing from other people is not first hand experience. The only way you can be truly knowlegable is if you have been there and done it yourself.

I said skill total. And almost no ones played longer then me consistantly, id say about 400 people :|

What a stupid post, Take some one with a 2100+ skill total like s1acker or zezima, then take 100,000 people with a skill total under 500, try find one of those 100,000 people who has more in game knowlege then the higher lvl.. Saying that skill total does not indicate game knowlege is [developmentally delayed]. Lvls = game experience, game experience is gained through playing the game, whilst playing the game you pick up knowlege. Sure you can read the kb all day every day, that doesnt mean your going to be able to solo gwd at lvl 70 or go get a fire cape first try. Sick of all this [cabbage] saying lvls mean nothing, as much as you pollitically correct wannabies would like to think otherwise LVLS DO INDICATE GAME KNOWLEGE. And it takes a certain ammount of intelligence to be able to properly plan and map out your skills to max them all out in the fastest most efficient ways possible. Just try and say otherwise.. It depends: Jack and Jill both have 99 fishing. Jack trained from level 1 to 99 just fishing shrimp, Jill scaled her training methods with her levels, eventually fishing monkfish and sharks towards the 99 level limit. Which one of them has more game knowledge? You will find the higher lvl player will be the one who used the most effective xp for his lvl and scaled up, hence why he is the high lvl, not the lvl 50.

They play on the normal servers and they do have high lvl chars.

If you so much as step into members wild with your stats your going to get 2 or 3 hit. As for f2p wild, you will last longer but sooner or later if you dont tele some one will r2h ko you, i can see now why you hate honour, honour pkers actually have pk based chars so if you actually fight one your going to lose. And how do you get pks? with your 60 range and mage or your 74 str?. Any real pker your lvl will tear you up, so clearly you dont pk that often. Walking out and attacking some one then teleporting isnt pking.. pking is Player killing Your stats are too weak to kill anyone outside of lag or it being a dm.. And if you dm some one, thats a form of honour.. No honour pkers run from dms.

If it wasn't a rule they wouldn't be looking for people doing it to ban them. You obviously don't browse the forums much if that's the worst you've seen... But they dont get cought doing it, autoers do it daily regardless of the rules, and if you look at my post count its pretty damned obvious i browse the forums often. Do you know how many trades go on in runescape every SECOND? if you think jagex is monitoring them all trying to catch autoers your sadly mistaken.

yes ive been thinking on the same thing why cant we change the title on the thread?? it would help a bit then there would be a lot more spam on the forums There would be less spam on the forums. Instead of selling your glorys then making a new thread for your fury amulet you can edit your title to say selling fury amulet.
