Actually, surprisingly it doesn't really. It is more the fact that the rest of you are opposed to humanity ending bioweapons than the deaths of several thousand people.

That's correct, hence why we moved to Astare 3. That's the whole point of an isolated research facility: nefarious purposes.

Icu didn't want any mining on his planet. And other undisclosed (*cough bioweapons cough*) reasons as well.

Well actually, we did send various probes to figure out aspects of the planet. The thing is that the only reason Astare 4 is automatically immune is mainly for a metagame reason. It's the main colony and the basis of the game, so it clearly couldn't have flesh-eating bacteria. It would seem that Astare 4, which is more similar to Earth, would have a greater amount of deadly bacteria that could infect humans, while Astare 3, which is more like Venus, would not have bacteria that could survive in Earth-like conditions. Yes, I anticipated the heat. Yes, I anticipated the weather. But I didn't anticipate bacteria that could survive at 30 C and 300 C, as well as inhabit the planet with a lack of life.

Well the base on Astare 3 was polymorphed, so it is already set up. Presumbly I'm over there right now. Approximately how long does it take for the disease to run its course? Aren't domes supposed to be sealed from the outside enviroment?

Okay Icu, this seems like a MUV. We can't use any of our pre-existing knowledge to tackle this. I don't understand the situation. Has the Sarlane landed on Astare 3?

Well I can develop a cure or counter, since I am already there + I'm not affected by it. And I did make some contingencies, but not the right sort. I had scanners and defences against pirate raids, land-based attacks, and large sandstorms. I wasn't aware that the planet could even be supporting life, so I guess I just overlooked that. And we sould probaly make sure that the Sarlane doesn't leave the planet until we've figured this out. --- So are we sure that it's a bacteria?

BUT OF COURSE! We'll just have to test the differences between this flesh eating virus and other human infectious disease.

THERE IS NO RESOURCE SHORTAGE We have arrived safely at our destination. MISSION ACCOMPLISHED Edit: It's always easy to pester or critisize the person in charge, so just let it out all at once so I can ignore it in a bunch and try to figure out how to circumvent this flesh-eating bacteria problem. Alternatively, suggestions?

I kinda figured, but I'm sure I can still make this work. The virus could actually be a good defence against aliens, because they won't even want to get near the planet.

I am still continuing with colonization efforts. Seeing as the resources have already been spent and I am a robot, I will not be abandoning the project. Some adjustments just need to be made, however. My greed and determinations know no boundaries! Flesh-eating pathogens are only a small hinderance in my plan. ONLY A MINOR GLITCH! NOTHING TO SEE HERE FOLKS!

Rivers Run Red
Yeah, I'm not using those. Just using the Kobold for flavor and to help balance the fact that I like to optimise.
-
Rivers Run Red
Mechanically, they suck for a cleric. A better choice would probaly have been an Aasimer. That said, Kobolds are always depicted as the bad guy that is to be slaughtered, so it would seem like fun to play one. Chaotic good of course.

Rivers Run Red
Danse Macabre is also a piece. If we're playing Pathfinder at level 4, I've generated a Kobold cleric. Sure, it doesn't possess any racial ability score bonuses to anything that clerics need and a huge -4 to strength, but it would be a fun challenge to play. Kobolds kinda suck, so a little optimization was in order to make an interesting, yet playable character. Backstory: A kobold from an old magical lineage that seeks, like many kobolds, to become the inheritor of the power of a dragon. Finding no deity that would help her in her quest, she has decided to champion the cause of kobolds everywhere, of "lesser" reptiles taking flight once again. So last game, I played as a druid that acted like a ranger. This game, I will be playing as a cleric that acts like a druid.

You need to purchase external shield emitters, Nero. :) The shield generators don't function by themselves.

Rivers Run Red
Yeah, we've never played a campaign where we've played higher than level 3, so it would be nice to try the higher levels for a change.
-
Rivers Run Red
Would be cool to continue. Another option would be to have Space on Saturday. Maybe it would be a good idea to start the next phase of the campaign at level 4 and make new characters for that, just so that we're all on the same level and page? I think it would be interesting. I would probaly roll up some sort of cleric.

We don't really need human recyclers. That's kinda gross.

We just provide the research points. The military ship can choose to use them for whatever purposes they deem necessary.
-
Space
Both are things that the military ship should consider. ^ Ask Nero
-
Space
Indeed, hence why we are also building weapons and ships for the military. Point being that giving every player resources is useless because no one possesses the adequate factories to produce anything with them. Now instead of assuming that I have or haven't thought about something, you can ask about it. I've been talking to Archi since Thursday about various aspects of the game and have created a six-month plan to get things up and running. I can't think of everything, but it would be nice if you could contribute instead of critisize.

I haven't consented to that transaction. In any case, if that were to occur, the research team would be getting 5000kt. Crew resources are distributed by their respective captains, which is why I have already paid my crew using the budget that I've been given.

I meant the taxes that the Terran government collects from the colonies.
