Grace, War, and Shenanigans
Jen crawls along the wall, using her ice beams to disable the fans (not that it's important, because she's hiding near their stands) and makes her way around the room to the next door, which she opens.
-
Grace, War, and Shenanigans
Jen skips around for a bit, enjoying the nice breeze the fans are making, before opening the next door.
-
Grace, War, and Shenanigans
Jen enters the door in the ceiling.
-
Grace, War, and Shenanigans
Jen peers through the door that Mikael went through and begins to shoot ice beams with her familliar at the dogs. (Benefit of having it on your head)
-
Grace, War, and Shenanigans
Jen asks the familliar to reshape itself so it looks more like a hat. (Her clothing is like a formless robe thing that you like to draw) Then she peers carefully through a different door into another room.
-
Grace, War, and Shenanigans
Jen perches the familliar on top of her head, so she has a fashionable hat. She clasps her hands together and tries to shoot at the wall with both her headband shooter and her familliar, hopefully freezing the wall.
-
Grace, War, and Shenanigans
Jen takes out her summon familliar chip, so her weapon is now an ice beam. She notices how physically large the familliar is.
-
Grace, War, and Shenanigans
Jen summons the strongest ice familliar that she can that will drain around 50% of her energy. Then she looks at it to notice its size and powers and stuff.

That only worked because Archi was a nutcase that could do actions in seconds + he was a mod.

So 26 minutes from now? If so, then yah. Honestly, forum games grind to a halt much faster and they don't really keep the atmosphere nearly as well, probably why Space was such a success.

Noooooooo, forums are cumbersome and slow. What time will we be starting?

Grace, War, and Shenanigans
Jen Slot 1: Ice Slot 2: Ice Slot 3: Summoning Familliar Slot 4: Offensive Slot 5: Beam So that means I get twice as fast affinity for ice? Also, around what time are we starting?

Is it like Dungeoneering where we just go?

Orphan, Silver, Wolf, Harry, Potter, Mary, Naruto?

Grace, War, and Shenanigans
Yes, fused to my head sounds good. The important thing is that it keeps my hands free, so I can go whoop-ass on stuff and still buff my familliar, which also goes whoop-ass on stuff.

Is metal common, if not metal weapons? I don't really need anything but a pipe.

Tempest - No Playwrights allowed
Yeah, it's not even close to real chess. Chess ability is not relavant, as long as you know how to move the pieces.

The Cursed Planet
Well every person in North America has school for at least an hour or two after that.

Tempest - No Playwrights allowed
So Archi introduced me to this very fun game, called Tempest. Now it is essentially real-time chess. One can move any piece that they would like at any time, but there is a cooldown following its movement before it can be moved again (varying on game type). Now the great thing about the game is that all you need to learn is how chess pieces move. After that, it bears no resemblance to chess strategy whatsoever. Of course, I am pretty horrible at Tempest, when I tried to apply real chess openings and strategies to it. So how the pieces move, if anyone is curious: Pawns - Move forward one square usually, but can move two squares if it hasn't moved before. Only moves forward and can only capture directly diagonally Knight - L Shaped. Two squares one way and one square another, making an L shaped. They can also jump over pieces. Bishops - Move as diagonally as far as they want Rooks - Move as far horizontally or vertically Queen - Can move diagonally, horizontally, or vertically as far as it wants King - One square in any direction Now I was thinking it could become a fun tavern game because no one has basically learned the theory or have any idea about the game, it is relatively fast and easy to set up, there is an existing server that is free, and it is really easy to learn. To find the site, search "tempest chess" Thoughts, questions, comments? Please post if you are interested! This does require a small download, but I am pretty sure it is safe, seeing as it is essentially the hub for this game.

Does channeling cold cause freezing? Is it more effective, more draining, etc? Compared to having two ice.

Grace, War, and Shenanigans
Can I get two of the same slot?

Grace, War, and Shenanigans
Errr, would this work to what I want? Jen Slot 1: Ice Slot 2: Energy Channeling Slot 3: Summoning Familliar Slot 4: Offensive Slot 5: Beam So basically the premise is that I can summon an ice familliar that looks like a floating column (it gets to float, right?). I could use energy channeling to give it some floating ice armor. Then it could proceed to shoot beams out from it at enemies or float next to an enemy and freeze touch attack? Then I could remove the summoning familliar chip and still be left with firing beams of freezing ice at stuff? Then using energy channeling, I could move cold through objects (say a metal pole) and touch attack stuff with it? Three questions: Does maintaining a familliar drain energy? Same or less than summoning it originally? Can a familliar stay out all the time or must it be resummoned? We start with one metal weapon?
