The Brazilian government will go into a closed-door meeting to discuss its reaction to the recent Argentinian-Coalition war. Our current position on this matter is neutrality, though we will inform the public of our decision shortly, whenever the conference takes place. However, Brazil laments the loss of life in Indonesia and Argentina, on both sides. (And the infrastructure!)

Ja, willkommen Gary. Another thing to remember is whether you want to say things in character or out of character. In character means you are the leader of your country actually saying something to the world, while out of character is just idle (or sometimes more) chat with other Hegemony players. Usually OOC can't be used directly to hurt you, but ya never know. :) The most important rule in Hegemony: everyone is doing something for themselves. Some people (like me and early Grim) gank directly, while others (like Wisp and late Grim) gank more cunningly. Everyone has their own nefarious purpose for using other people, except me. I'm all good. No need to fear me.

OOC: Someone should invade Africa so we can call this world war three. :P It's kinda sad, because I don't even have a single spy or a spy network. I feel left out of world affairs. :(

They still make a big boom when the ICBM is hit. Hence why they don't put SAMs in major cities to prevent nuclear annhialation.

I don't think SAMs really work against ICBMs.

Thanks Mather, for reminding me of the importance of not only having a strong air force, but a strong anti-air defence system. Thusly, we are investing 3 billion into that and 6 billion into submarines. (All OOC, if it matters) All for defensive purposes, I assure you!

I mean, Japan is not well suited to being a world dominating hellraiser. It has a population heavily concentrated in cities with few natural resources. It can't tank hits like the Soviet Union. Face it: it's a wizard that can't be on the front lines.
