Right, I would like people to post which ship they'd like to be on, so I can start planning accordingly. I can't say anything about Nero's ship, but my ship will primarily be more of a sandbox research hub (basically build cool stuff), that should have ample resources to do stuff. Each member of my ship will be receiving a share in the ship, which they can withdraw and use for their own purposes, or keep it in the ship. If they keep it in the ship, their share increases proportionally to the increase of the ship's resources. Of course if everyone changes their vote, I will look like a doofus for asking, but it is better to start planning ahead!

Mather, there's a solution to this. If everything turns out the way that it currently is turning out, then you can just be on the ship that I am captain of, rather than Dusty's ship. Tbh that's the best reason why we have two ships in the first place. As long as you're not actively trying to screw over Dusty (which would be mutiny btw) and keep your distance from him, then there really shouldn't be a problem. EDIT: Ninja'd

The first session is tomorrow, correct? I am also devising a method of resource distribution to be used (if I am elected) on ship 2. It will encourage growth and investment in the ship, but give everyone their fair wages for their personal use. It will also allow people to use their resources that they own even when I am not around.

I am extremely corruptable, but I always do things for the benefit of the ship. The way that I govern is quite simple. I mainly work the economy, making sure our ship has enough resources to keep trucking. Everytime that I have captained, I ask input with everyone before I proceed and talk with everyone, because I don't believe that the captain should have ultimate power to rule a ship. A captain is there to move things along when there is deadlock, to move the ship left or right when an asteroid is flying towards it and the crew is deadlocked.

I don't understand something. With these different ships, are their resources shared between the fleet/colony or are they separated according to the ship and then traded/shared when another ship really needs it?

At most, we should have an acting captain for emergencies. Ultimately, I don't feel comfortable with anyone holding supreme power for any long period of time, and only comfortable with Jeremiah for a short period of time. Honestly, I would make a bad captain, because I just crunch numbers. I don't possess any adaptive or reactive traits that make for a good captain, so at most I could be an economic adviser.

It ain't just the internet. I had plenty of people that thought I was ~20 before I told them how old I actually was. Then again, maybe that's part of being a university student when normally I wouldn't be halfway through highschool... I think I asked before, what course are you doing and are you a genius? Take a trip to Hong Kong or Singapore and notice the legion of "8th" graders take university calculus courses. :P

All I can is that everything is variable. One would be hardpressed to find a reasonable question to ask that doesn't have the common answer choice, it depends.

The best way to ruin a friendship is to go out with someone. Nah, not the case. The best way to ruin a friendship is to act like an idiot when you go out with someone. It's not that it happened, but that one's behavior can change so rapidly when in a relationship that it makes things plain wierd. So, be yourself.

The best thing to improve your grades is to IMPROVE YOUR HANDWRITING. It takes roughly a month (varies for people) and will probaly increase your grades from a minus to a plus. It's because people perceive the neatness and flawlessness as indications of quality and intelligent writing. That being said, I am often perceived to be like Resistance in sheer work ethic, because I am always seen working, but that is mainly because I like to do everything at school so I can goof off and relax at home.

Honestly, coming on this forum is probaly more detrimental than having a relationship. At least it helps one develop socially with relatively normal people, unlike the wierdos on here. :P

Resistance, it is important to stop on the way to greatness. These moments will shape you as much as your hard work will.
