The Back Room
I am waiting to find a second DS so I can transport my legendaries from diamond and pearl (mom gave me one and Dad gave me the other, because they don't talk to each other) to Black.

Hegemony
The mighty nation of Brazil for me. :) ^ All my favorite countries were taken. And from prior experience, I am definitely not going to try and build super weapons again! --- Also, if we're factoring economic recession in, these countries should be expanding pretty fast still: Brazil, Russia, India, China, Germany, kinda Mexico, Singapore (10% some growth rate last year)

Has anyone tabulated the loot we got last session? (Excluding the champion chainmail thing)

The ones that are either human or half human are usually +2 to one. Others are two +2s and one -2.

Well the thing is that we're probaly not going to meet many elves on the campaign and the druid class fits in terms of flavor as well. So it's just a decision on which kind of nature I want to take my character in. Wild shaping or animal companion. Spellcasting isn't that useful at lower levels, so I am just waiting until it becomes reasonable in strength. Also, my focus has been animal companions, but Brightness Seeker doesn't increase that progression either. I would have to take feats to fix that, so it seems a bit of a problem right now without spellcasting or animal companion progression. Maybe if I could get the spellcasting back, then it wouldn't be that bad to take the class. I don't meet the requirements till level 5, so there's still time for me to decide.

Ah, thanks. I'm trying to figure out what kind of class the Brightness seeker is, because its base attack progression is rather low, and it doesn't provide any spellcasting progression for the druid, even though it's pretty clear it's the continuation of a druid (wild-shaping and wild empathy). Flavor-wise, it's logical to go there at level 5 until level 10, but it would place me two levels of spells lower (level 3 compared to level 5).

From the name, it doesn't seem to be teleportation, and the effect could probaly be accomplished with a horse. :P Resistance: Generally not, but there are plenty of existing races and classes to choose from
-
The Back Room
It might take a while to get to a stage where we can teleport easily though, so barbarian would be the better option.

Grim, do you have the information for the brightness seeker prestige class? I could only find one that goes up to level 5, but I think prestige classes are supposed to be up until level 10.

Well, a fighter is more specialized to smashing things up and is a decent quick traveler while a ranger is more versatile, but still good at smashing things up. Or if you prefer a super-heavy tank class, a paladin or calvalier is also good. It has some alignment issues though.

It's true that Kingmaker has some decently complicated rules, but it's really something that can be learned once, and then it becomes simple. After you get down the basic rules for HP, AC, and actions, then there isn't really much more than finding the character stuff that fits your playing style. We can always help you with that. :)

That's a nice picture, Theros. Now add a pinch of overpowered, imperiousness, and overbearing and you've made it absolutely perfect. And the grin is *slightly* too nice. Remember that she was EVIL, MANIACAL, WILLING TO GUT ANYONE IN HER WAY. The way I've been roleplaying the Jens, if they were the same person, then they would DEFINITELY have bipolar. I guess that is just the nature of the game though.

Had varsity tennis practice at 7AM in the morning at an indoor court because the outdoor ones are snowed in. My body was definitely NOT designed to be active right after I wake up. Now if I was a robot, an elf, or a human in stasis...

I think that only applies in certain situations, and even then, it is probaly arguable. :)

The Back Room
I had a dream where I single-handedly worked through the federal budget in one night and took out unnecessary spending, resulting in the elimination of the American national deficit and a rapid growth in the economy. Then I was elected president in a huge landslide and began making reforms to make my post permanent. Then I proceeded to rule over the world from the bastion of an American dictator with a growing economy and a supportive populace. Suffice to say that it will never happen, but it was fun while it lasted. Republicans envious of my deficit cutting skills and democrats envious of my commitment to social reforms. Join my party, the party of winners!

At the level that you get your magical weapon creation feat, what will your bonus to creating the magical weapon? It's spellcraft or Craft (bow), whichever is higher. To Grim, what's the usual DC for making a magical weapon?
-
Rivers Run Red
Ya know what, I don't think I really need a split from each thing. Just send whatever part of the split that we get from selling my way, and it's alright. Buying magical weapons is probaly not the most cost effective way of doing this, so I think I can still make it work with the way it's working now. Just some careful budgeting and clever purchasing to control costs will probaly be sufficient. BUDGETING

Well it's a melee strategy designed for big strength, which neither of us have. And my ape only has 3 intelligence. :(
-
Rivers Run Red
I had this great idea for a strategy, but it failed when I realized that the pre-requisite was 13 intelligence. :)

It's interesting, but I think I was accused of being Hex when I first joined Hegemony. Or accused of being someone, at least. It was definitely strange that I joined with having all posts on the tavern and a lunacy regarding Hegemony. :D --- Games for deciding things cont: Chess Math problem

Question: is libel spelled different in Britain? I'm always hesitant about pointing out something because it could very well turn out that the people do stuff differently on the other side of the pond. The grass always looks greener on the other side...except when you live in America. *Obnoxious American*

Civilisation 4
If you are winning economically at the beginning of the game, that advantage can usually be used to get a win, so as long as you are militarily safe, it is good to have one worker per city to improve.
