Basically. I'm pretty sure that oxygen is also released when the concentration of oxygen in an area is low (cells that need it)and binds to the hemoglobin when the concentration is high (lungs).

You and Mask. Actually, scratch that. I think I will just make some other adjustments.

Since we have more casters in the party, I am considering switching around to a ranger. It would make me lose my spells progression, but everything else would be the same (aside from the lack of wild shaping, which I don't really need). That and I've never played a righteous character before, so I will try that.

Indeed, very massive edit. I was rambling, so I thought it was better to get to the point.

Which example are you referring to? I believe the chain of events is: Getting screwed over > Total revenge > Quitting Rather than: Quitting > Total revenge + getting screwed over

Well I don't stick around in a situation where I think the moderator was unfair and the situation had catastrophic circumstances. One or the other is okay for me, but not both.

IIRC, Hegemony 3 was kinda rigged. My planes were invincible against my planes because of the propaganda that I was putting out (turns out they were ONLY invincible against myself because I was putting out the propaganda) and there were somehow unguarded nukes at the border, when it seems more likely that they would be hidden within the country. Also, I didn't exactly have any nuclear weapons either, which was kinda a mystery on how they stole them. (Unless this is somehow a different game than Hegemony 3. They all kinda blend together when my country seems to implode on itself because of this stuff.)

Well Spork, you already know that the length of one of the sides is 10 (since we had that equation of A= -2w^2 + 40w that we solved for the maximum) Then you have length times width = Area 10 times something = 200 Something = 20 Then just make sure you know which side is which side by plugging them into the perimeter equation and see which one works. (20 as the one which has the wall as a side or 10 as the one). The important thing is to show your work and check everything. As long as you get it right, make it logical, and include the steps, then he'll mark it right.

... You know that trig can be used on triangles that aren't right triangles, right?
-
The Back Room
Trig is great. Messing around with the identities for a few minutes while the clock is ticking on the tests is the definition of a rollercoaster ride.

1. Graphs are somewhat inaccurate, but the whole point of the max/min was figuring out the graph. 2. Stork, you basically did what I did, but cheated because calculus isn't allowed in geometry class.

NO IT ISN'T INTEGRATION AND CURVE SKETCHING DOESN'T SOLVE EVERYTHING
-
The Back Room
Firstly, it's totally inaccurate. Secondly, Spork needs an algebraic way of solving it for his class. Thirdly, there are exact numbers for them.

Right, you have the more difficult part already. So now we have... A = -2w^2 + 40w Now notice that in a parabola, the maximum (for a downward facing parabola) or the minimum (upward facing parabola) has the x-coordinate as the axis of symmetry. The axis of symmetry can be found by using the following formula: -b/2a The a and b come from the standard form of the quadratic expression Y-coordinate = ax^2 + bx + c In the first equation, the a is -2 and the b is 40. Thusly, the axis of symmetry is -40/2(-2) = 10. Therefore, the x coordinate of the maximum is 10. We can use this to find the y coordinate (which is what you need to solve the problem) by plugging in the x coordinate into all instances of x (which is w, in this case). A = -2(10)^2 + 40 (10) A = -200 + 400 A = 200 I'm unsure if you learned these things or whether I should go ahead with your teacher's way, but your teacher has probaly made this much harder than it needs to be.

Well as a rogue, it might be preferable to have the scarf, because there is no way that you'll be able to conceal the spiked chain.

Are there any warm forests on the campaign map?
-
Rivers Run Red
What kind of forests have we been trekking through during our adventure? Would you consider leniency as to habitats of animals (for example, temperate instead of warm, etc)?\ (No biggy about the elven spiked chain. I'll just pretend it's a regular spiked chain for all purposes now)

I know what he meant, but I am adapting my character to changing times. My character is a mounted druid, so I am doing everything I can to maintain that mounted druidness, even if it requires some modifications in the tactics of my character. If that's using a Roc (which is a perfectly viable choice as a druid) instead of a horse at seventh level, then that is alright by me. As for the elven spiked chain, it was originally a Drow weapon, but several people urged me to switch to a regular elf (so not to get the group hated by everyone as we passed by), so I asked if I could keep one of the Drow weapons but have it as an Elven weapon. --- Animal companions are a class feature, hence why I chose druid in the first place.

Rocs are the animal companion version, not the huge giant carrying version. They still fit my character concept of a mounted archer (albeit taking it to the extreme of flying mounted archer). T-Rex was just a random power packing choice if my mounted archery started getting stuffed (aka rule changes which have started to take place in the middle), but I probaly won't end up with that approach (not really setting appropriate and whatnot). I mean, the withdraw nerf makes it significantly harder to inflict damage in a situation where I am attempting to flee, but it is okay to adapt to. If it turns out that there are most things nerfed, then mounted archery as a druid might not be feasible, and I'll have to abandon the character concept midway through and go for a wild-shaping melee kinda thing.
