The Back Room
Heh, I have a nice teacher. Ms. Caroll gives us 1 page of notes, max per day. :P Enjoy.

The Back Room
I know, because she's finally joining band. She's getting Ms. Petrillose (not sure how to spell that), which isn't good at all. Btw, it's Lydia.

Nah Nex, we don't have the same classes and have no free time.

The Back Room
Which is what I was doing, except I was trying to make an elephant trap (basically my fort is in the middle, and then walls extending to the sides of the map. These have gaps every 10 tiles or so with a cage trap. I was trying to save my woodworker and mason, who were building the walls, as they were my best dwarves. The goblins like waiting outside and murdering all the cats that wander out...

I hate goblin ambushes. I defeated one squad, then my dwarves rushed outside to steal their stuff, which led to a huge massacre where my entire fortress being chased around the map. The enemy squads were finally defeated, except a siege came right after it and caught everyone outside. Maybe I should've gotten my war elephant production started up sooner.

Baldur's Gate 2
I'll probaly be the mage (probaly a sorcerer), since it seems to be the class that just hides behind the meleers and fires. (Since I can't use a mike)

Baldur's Gate 2
What kind of game is it though? Do you run around and fire spells and attacks with a recharge time, or is it turn-based?

I tried this massive engineering project, where I had this giant cavern which I pumped (well it wasn't necessarily pumped, but it was a combination of things) in hundreds of thousands of units of water to try and airdrown a pack of whales. Sadly, my computer died a terrible fps death that day. One reason why you don't mess with the ocean.

You gotta use keybindings.

^ That's only if dwarves get into fights. Oh, I had a great idea. 3x3 shaft down to the bottom where your fortress is. The central tiles are up/down staircases, while the ones surrounding it are restrained war elephants. Enemies will have to fight 27 at a time, and face hundreds if they like dodging and moving Z-levels. :)

Hegemony: A New World
Lol, I'm not a big fan of those trustworthyness tests. That's how people scam others in Runescape.

Unless you're under siege and you have sealed yourself in, it's better to bring the magma up. A fortress does not need water unless it runs out of booze, but you can desalinate water by using screw pumps, as long as the water does not come into contact with natural surfaces.

Hegemony: A New World
That's fair. Is it possible if you move your armies so that they're one province from the border? I'd a feel a lot safer, and it wouldn't really matter because if I invaded, then your army could still march in and stuff. My army will also be one province away from the border.

Hegemony: A New World
^ Reassuring for someone to mass his army at the border.

Hegemony: A New World
Okay, here is a map of my colonizations. That totals 6 million (paying 500k for each to make it 10% more successful) [hide=Colonizations] [/hide] Andes Expeditionary force (New soldiers)- 10 million General Admiral (Fair and stormy) 1 Flagship 3 Sloops General Infantry Commander 2000 Musketmen 1 Basic Cannon Basically they'll be loading up this turn and they'll be dropped off on the next turn in the southernmost province detached from the others. Then they will march into any one of the bordering unclaimed provinces and attempt to meet natives, which we will then engage diplomatically.

I don't want to wait and see what a megabeast can do to 50 elephants. Actually, that'd be fun to see. In both ways.
-
The Back Room
Mwahahahahaha, my elephant army is coming to fruition! I sorta can't figure out how to use the military interface, but who needs it when you have guard elephants patrolling every corridor, cage traps to take care of most megabeasts, and cave-in traps for the ones that can't be trapped.

Underworld
Could we... keep moving?

Point being Icu?

Hegemony: A New World
It would depend on how Dungeonal is planning on naval transport, since it doesn't seem to be that there are ocean provinces.
-
Hegemony: A New World
True, but if we're stretching, then I can't take advantage of my closeness modifier. I had already planned out how I was going to be colonizing those provinces. Since you're the naval power, wouldn't it be easier for you to plop down colonies all the way in down further in South America?

Hegemony: A New World
Spain requests that Mr. Lime Green goes and colonizes northwards instead.

You can mass dump them, or just hide them.

Isn't his budget 14.1 million?
