I already attempted to do that, but I couldn't understand a lot of it (probably just because of the lack of structure in that guide), and what i did do, nothing happened.

Would I add that into Runtime Parameters?

Just uninstalled and reinstalled java, and that contributed nothing but 20 minutes of work.

I've already cleared jagex/runescape cache and use directx, and I do get up to 45fps.. provided I'm standing still/moving in the same general area (usually a 10x10 square around my character).

So I'm helpless until jagex fixes their game?

For the past 3 or so days, I've been trying to play RS and I can barely get 2 fps when running/moving the camera and it takes well over 10 seconds to load a new area, making dungeoneering nearly impossible. My herb runs have gone from taking 5 minutes to taking nearly 8. Does ANYONE have any suggestions about what might be able to fix this, so that I can actually play the game properly?
