Hey guys i'm looking for a gear setup that would work well in the fight kiln, the only exclusions are nex armour, divine/elysian. apart from that i can afford whatever else. A tri-brid setup would be useful in the kiln knowing that the combat triangle works well. Only chaotic i have atm is a rapier. i don't mind bring three sets of armour for the three combat styles. stats: Attack-90 Str- 95 def- 87 (getting 90) hp-92 mage-89(getting 92) range-85 (getting 90) I do however have a low summoning so i only have a tortoise available as of now. cheers :)

I ivy when i absolutely cannot pay attention, for example in class. Today is a Monday and a prime example of the benefits of ivy (on a phone), I had class from 1:35 pm to 9:00 pm, got a 6hr log in that time I cut so much ivy, better than the past 2 months when i didn't even log in on Mondays. Pretty sure rs isn't playable on a phone? Or is there something I'm missing

Recently fried my old pc so I've decided to get an upgrade, I'm looking for a laptop that can run rs on atleast 30+ fps, I have a budget of $300. Any suggestions??

I think there should be requirement to use gatestones, which would mean more people would atleast want to train mage and would be rewarded with access to gatestones kimda like lunar spells

I don't like how players tell Jagex to watch their step... At least in offensive tones (not sure if that was your case actually). Honestly in your case mentioned it is a good thing for higher leveled slayers with the change in ganodermic beast drops because many players expected the higher end slayer drops from the ganodermic beasts to be more profitable than they are now. The cost of polypore spores, ganoderic flakes and the sticks are appalling. I've been camping there because the slayer-specific drops are in a contending rank with the flakes and I will about 2m+ an hour in drops. +1 I do believe that effigies weren't intended to be an alternative method of training when they were released, we can survive :P

Smokey9112 got the cape with a tort and barrows gear, so yea you don't need nex armour and yak, although I'd still say 85+ in all combat stats are a reasonable minimum to attempt the kiln with :D

I used to run rs fine, but the issue of fps seems to be getting worse and worse, i dont think jagex has commented on this issue yet but i think its on their part.

I agree with certain areas being overpowered, but I do think dungeoneering is one of the best skills, because it isn't repetitive like most skills and there's a lot more interaction especially with fellow players, rewards are useful too :D

The people that are against the effigy update are people who have played rs for years before effigies were even released, so why is it much of an issuemit doesn't bother me because I can do without it as always.

For the first time ever i was able to do my daily rc assists in less than 5 mins. this update is beneficial for those with the high levels required to open effigies but it forces lower levels to open their effigies without being able to stock pile them till they get the levels they need. :) / :(

As far as I'm concerned effigies were not released as an alternative to training skills, at 91 rc I've only ever used one effigy on rc, I prefer the time I put into rcing to have value. Although the limit of 5 effigies is harsh for those who require asissts to open their effigies. But as for ''effigycrafting', if you don't like a skill then spend time on those you enjoy.enjoy :)

the people the effiigy update will affect the most are those who need assists to open their effigy, suomi wouldnt be affected because he can open his effigy's on his way to bank or something. not everyone can ''effigyscape'' now so that may be a good thing for more experienced players imo.

Tbh if jagex removes f2p'ers from hiscores i think it will be really sad to see those who worked hard to get front page ranks and still remain pure f2p lose their ranks

That 75k is the very maximum I'd say. I average around 65k when focussing - without mousekeys. That runecrafting is totally wrong since you considered neither the time to get gloves and the time to get tabs. :mellow: (it's about 11-12k xp/hour if you take the average of the total time spent) Superheat's 22k xp/hour for body tiara's is the maximum if you don't count using runners - which is barely affordable. I wasn't too sure about the xp rates myself as u can tell, since im not f2p anymore :P So running airs with gloves at 10k/hr is just as good as tabs + gloves? if so then i wasted alot of time at Gop lol,

Prayer is around 75k xp/hr on f2p depending on your consistency Runecrafting is about 30-35k on f2p, with the method of water runecrafting gloves and tabs, which is the fastest xp without using runners. 1m+ gains in prayer is quite impressive on f2p, really clicking intensive
