Chippy Crisps... that would be an awesome brand name. Anyways, Edel, I think you may be percieving violent intent where there is none. I can understand that, with what we've put you through. I think Archi's third point is uncalled for, you do often claim credit for some aspect of a game but I can't recall you ever saying you created something you didn't. Also, please stop inciting them to argument. Whether you know what you're doing or not the ultimatums, implied superiority, and stream of reports foster undue resentment towards you. I'm sure the administration is starting to wear out a bit as well, this is a highly recurrent issue. They seem a little confused by the Tavern, since we're such a small and active group, and we're very used to our ways. It's difficult for them to investigate matters here, and it's difficult to see a conflict through our eyes. EDIT: Oh crap, ninja'd into contradicting Fura.

I agree. We should ignore Edel if he tries to start an argument, report him if he breaks any rules, and eventually he'll probably start acting in a way we can appreciate. Like he did before we "knew" that Edel was Hex. I mean, if you look at his behaviour early into the Edel account, he wasn't any more annoying than Taverners are wont to be. He just started turning it into a farce later on though, and began to act out once more. It's kind of like when I played Runescape without knowing how to talk for the first few months. I made friends regardless, enjoyed the game, and had a very different (perhaps better) viewpoint by the time I figured out how to end my solitude.

Two more points for level 30 Blitz, then I can focus on some cool new stuff like Psionics!

What games Vixion? :) Also, do you think Edel's letter could be categorized under annoying posting styles guys? :-k

Hi again Vix! Hey, do you play any multiplayer games?

Pah, that's nothing. The Tavern hasn't had a post for two hours, and on a scheduled game night! Hrmph. Maybe there's some power outtage in England or something?

Your left and right index fingers are guns which just fired
Hole through the left mouse button... it was broken as is. Oh, and I have a nice new haircut, the second one skimmed my scalp.

I lost the game. Tardis, Stork? I know what that's from, but what does it relate to here? And what does TZDF stand for...? My only guess is Tavern (or "The") Zombie Defense Force, but I keep hearing about it elsewhere.

Nice pic, Archi. And on the subject of not caring what we're doing... I might be part of an SCA youth-fencing class! I've been getting more of my friends interested in SCA stuff, and this will be a great opporunity. One of my friends who can't come to normal practice because of church will be able to go if it's on a different day. Also, this isn't tournament fencing. It's essentially anything-goes-but-below-the-belt-shots fighting with the only real weapons you'd have a hard time maiming anyone with - capped rapiers. Though we do have a few dull sabers and some big swords almost 5 feet long. There's also show fencing, which is dodging, rolling, throwing, and elaborate not-always-practical-but-awesome-looking maneuvres.

Who did, Mather?

Icon, I repeat, I never read your thread and neither did anyone else. You have no more influence on this forum than anyone else, Poseidon and Meguy were about as consequential.
-
Recruitment Drive
Icon, no one cared about or noticed your dungeoneering game (games?).

Rocco, in case you haven't noticed, there's been a massive activity spike due to Space. Ross' new D'neering seems promising too.

Dungeoneering Again
Icon, it works fine for Space and prevents moderator burnout. It also allows everyone to stay up to speed. EDIT: 'Kay Ross.

Dungeoneering seems... out of place. I think IRC Gaming should be included, it's a major part of the tavern now.

Dungeoneering Again
Tuesdays, Fridays, and Sundays sound better, but it's the mod's decision I suppose.

I mentioned rotating moderators a bit back, do you want to work on something together? How am I a part of its death. Death comes from people who are saying "I'm not playing another game until X" No, the death is because people aren't playing games. There are loads of mods but if you look at most games failings its because of lack of players. One: Rotating moderators = rotating playstyles... Two: And yet you're refusing to play Space because you say it needs to change it's mechanics... Three: If you want people to play your games, make good games. My games are good, because I put work into them, it's just that I get sidetracked.

Icon, Space is a great breaking-in game. Everyone's playing it, and we even have 3 new members because of it.

Earth, those ships are much less practical than Drake's, and more expensive as well. That aside, we essentially have more mining ships than we need. And Jen, your ship did get blown up. We had the option to pay a lot to fix it, or salvage it for a fortune. Theros decided that he didn't want to take it from you completely, since you had a new character and might reclaim it (you should've put in protocols for the Kirby, like I did the Unity, that gave you access somehow, even with a new character, without metagaming). That aside, it would've been perfectly in character for you to have anthrax-bombed whoever was coming to arrest you. I think we can say all is forgiven, and I would appreciate it if Jen would share all her research, and not constantly sell it, but it's in her nature I suppose so no major worries. And Jen, you need to look through the logs, the ficus tree story is hilarious.
