Begone with ye, heathen, and your wretched pseudo-philosophical (which, strangely enough, is a word in my predictive text dictionary though heathen is not) witchcraft!
  3. I know, Dusty, I've read a bit of that. I was thinking Moatburdened both as a Boatmurdered joke and a reference to the D.A.S.
  4. Ross, don't you think it would be fun to make a fortress called Moatburdened?
  5. Ok, random subject change. I was looking around the Dwarf Fortress wiki and Bay12 forums, randomly following a path of mismatched links in a Retech-esque fashion, and have stumbled upon a number of hilarious (to me, anyways, and probably to those who play DF) instances of unusual occurences and ideas. Mule-punching elves. The new dwarven superweapon. Kill it with fluff!
  6. DAS for the win!
  7. Vix, knew about that already. :) Also, I agree with the latest comment on that, super bonus points for a gang of sociopathic Azula wannabes.
  8. The thread was locked? Maybe, but if so it'll have to wait a little bit.

Petty Racism Petty Murder Petty Rape Petty Torture Petty Violence It may not be as bad as the ones listed above but discrimination isn't petty its a really awful thing, its a form of bullying, a form of hatecrime and simply a bad thing. Its not something petty. Do you think that Martin Luther King Jr. and Nelson Mandella accept the fact that what they fought for is 'petty', do you think all the black people in america who suffered discrimination would agree that discrimination is petty. You need to think about what your saying before you say it because you are going to upset a lot of people the way your going. ... What? Do you even know what discrimination means, out of the context of racial conflict?
  10. Cause mods don't get ZPM-studded hiveships (well, except maybe Archi). C'moooon!

I really hate the admins for looking down on us since the Hex incident... They need to be above petty discriminations against those they have historically ignored. They act well often, but because of one difficult decision they have refused to further associate themselves with an already alienated community. What in hell is barbaric about gauging public opinion?! And if they truly believe that, why are they sitting by with the existence of countless polls of the same nature making their home on this forum?!
  12. But Maaaaatheeeer, the game will have a plot! A purpose! It's just like Ross and his Scathe! Nothing ever happens in Stargate, and nothing happened when we first ran this game! All I want to do is show up at opportune moments to give the players a challenge. =(
  13. Suki is awesome. Best non-bender character in the series. Hm, howabout favourite character relationship? Mine would have to be Toph and Zuko. Too hilariously awesome for words.

What website, Edel? Anyways, I'm so going to play this, but I'm having a hard time deciding. I'll have to think about it.
  15. My favourite main character would have to be Toph. Side question to those who have watched the show: What is your favourite character costume? This includes originals (Aang's monk clothes), variations (Katara's robe without the coat), Fire Nation clothes (The Headband!), bathing suits (can't remember any of them, I know they were shown a few times), and side costumes that only appeared for a short time (the Blue Spirit). Mine would have to be Jet's armour or Katara's masquerade of "The Painted Lady."
  16. I wasn't saying you should mod.
  17. Yeah, bloodbending wasn't well done in the show. I'm reminded of the "blood control" in Doctor Who where, even though you controlled a person's body, you couldn't kill them with the same method because of human survival instinct. I don't think anyone could or should be a bloodbender if you make this game. It would just be confusing for the players and unrealistic in the game world.
  18. California, R.I.P. Maryland. We're the thinnest state!
  19. Actually, Retech, there's a lot of strategy with each element. And each form of bending is focused on a specific martial arts form, with specific individuals occasionally having their own styles. Something to do with the flow of energy, same as in martial arts (though it's a good deal more literal in bending). The most flexible element is water, because it incorporates manipulation of any liquid as well as different states of water. Bloodbending is even possible, though apparently extremely difficult and taboo. It's speculated that only three or four people in the series are potential bloodbenders. And Rocco, metalbending is possible, just not by anyone in the series except Toph. Because she's awesome.
  20. Good. I know the name, now I just need the address... and some money for weapons... Naaah, I'll leave the organized fan aggression to the FF nuts.
  21. Interesting. I love the series, but I would probably prefer sticking to it as it ended. I want to kill the one who made the movie...

  23. ^ I repeat the above post.
  24. Irrelevant, Earth. Stop doing posting things like that, unless it's in The Back Room. This sounds awesome, especially because I've spent the last hour reading 102 pages of a zombie apocalypse novel. I am sooo looking forward to playing this.
  25. Err, Dusty? Maybe because guns of the time had crap range and accuracy. A good crossbowmen would easily beat a medium-skill gunman.
