I head towards the old sector, looking for those who might be able to heal me and practicing my sound magic playing haunting melodies on my lute.

Hello Vix.

I tap the wizard lightly on the shoulder, and hold my hand out palm down to show my injury.

I go to the inn, looking for a wizard or mage who could heal my finger.

I keep the lute out, staying off the main road while heading to the village and playing soothing music to any animal I encounter. I store my money inside the lute (it has a hole in it like a guitar).
