  1. Flying a balloon in a glass shardstorm? Isn't that... dangerous?
  2. I withdraw the silver dust and re-coat my polemace, before creating a half-circle stone shield around the Mage's back. I stand near him, ready to repel attacks, and strengthen the orb of light next to me.
  3. Ah. Gotcha. EDIT: Not strategy, Mather. Not entirely. It's primarily RPG, and most players only have one ship.
  4. Mather... Are you making... Replicators... Now is that really a good idea...
  5. I withdraw the silver dust from my polemace, and drive it into and withdraw it out of the eyes and heads of the spiders. I extend all my armour spikes that won't impair movement and unleash the geomancy charge I was building to impale the spiders with spikes from the floor.
  6. RTS?! EVE is no mere RTS! Earth, go check out the EVE online trailers. It's a starship game with a player-based economy, player-driven wars, and an unimaginably massive universe with 7,000 individual star systems and a number of pocket galaxies accessed through wormholes.
  7. If possible, I summon the stone spirit from Ikana, or another powerful stone spirit, enlisting its help to block the passages and protect Iey and the Ivory Mage. I then withdraw the dust back into my polearm and dash towards the catacomb.
  8. I start tossing fireballs at all the webs from the doorway. I then remove the silver dust from my polemace, and draw two summoning circles in the ground with it.
  9. Oh, darn. That would be fun.
  10. I think it might disspell the sun tower and summon the undead, Rocco...
  11. Yeahea! Love that. Are there any weapons a scoutship could carry and warp into the middle of an enemy fleet and fire off the weapon like a suicide bomber and blow up said fleet?
  12. Wheeee! I continue looking around the room.
  13. I wanna be this guy! Sea Kin (RoD p100) Druid Medium size 30 movement Low-Light Vision Swim speed 30. 4 extra skill points at 1st level 1 extra skill point at following levels +2 Racial bonus on Escape Artist checks. Hold Breath able to hold his/her breath for a number of rounds equal to (8 x Constitution score). Weapon Familiarity treat Tridents and Nets as Simple weapons. Water Dependency must immerse his/her entire body in water at least once per week or take 1 point of Constitution damage (Constitution check to negated, DC = 10 + 1 per additional day). While immersed in water, this Constitution damage heals at the rate of 1d4 per hour.
  14. Sorry, Raise Pay is a level 10 mod skill. You're only a level 2 mod.
  15. And Retech's 120-something, maybe higher. I'm CB 89, with a bit over one mil banked and rune armour along with a DDP++, obby cape, dragon boots, amulet of glory, and some other stuff. Really, Ross? EVE doesn't seem like an event-ey game. And only one of those ships left? Lol, I can't imagine why... (eheh, yeah I can, a crapton of jealous players, pirates, and bounty hunters seeking a name for themselves). But it's really an awesome game, even the mining is addictive. I would love a feature that gives you a map of explored space, not just a gigantic universe map. As for the battles, I was never in one, but I saw like 10 allied titan-class ships celebrating victory with a fireworks display of doom that made the most OMGWTFBBQ explosion I will ever see.
  16. It could be dependant on the race of the creature, like humanoid and dragon anatomy are two different skills. Kinda like favoured enemy.
  17. You mean an anatomical strike skill? I like that!
  18. Most likely, Earth.
  19. Maybe I shouldn't have said that... Tech was here a second ago, maybe he's using the blackout as an excuse.
  20. Bit late for this, it's 10:00 here and I gotta go very soon, probably the same for Tech.
  21. Aaaaand Murphy hates me. We just had a massive blackout in my hometown, and no doubt Earth and Tech did too.
  22. It'll pass. The storm's moving fast, no worries.
  23. Heh. I follow Earth carefully into the room, forming spikes from the walls and beginning to charge geomancy.
  24. Oh, and I look around for enemies or a way out.
  25. "Milady Tairn, I am Nexaduro, the fourth mage-bard of the Deylani. The staff you hold is that of the former Ice-Witch Jen, who gave it to me for the purpose of freeing her soul from the underworld so she may redeem herself. It is an artifact of great power, capable of slaying the greatest of demons with but a thought by its wielder. I myself used it to fend off an army of Soulsirens in the second circle of the underworld." After the man has been healed, I repeat my previous questions.
